The Taken King in D1 was a great example of defeating the "final boss" in the campaign, while still providing a BIG BOSS experience in the raid. I hope its something similar in TFS.
This is speculation and theorycrafting, but imagine if the reason we fight him in the raid is because we defeat him in the campaign, but fail to stop his plan, and the raid is more of a vengeance from our part for whatever it's plan ends up doing.
@WendlerTV Oryx is also defeated in the raid though. For all we know, we'll beat the witness in the campaign and then he'll power up with the veil or something.
My assumption is that cayde is recreated by the traveller because he was such a prominent part of many of our lives, since the pale heart is creating or being transformed into stuff from our past(i know this is a reach cuz terrain and an exo are very different things)
I'll take that a step further to say "Cayde" is an avatar of the will of The Traveler. He'll look, act, sound like Cayde, but I'm guessing he's going to provide insight as to the 'why?' questions we have about The Traveler and all that happened. Or not...
I've been thinking the same thing. And, no, I wouldn't call it a stretch. Just because they said The Traveler is recreating areas we've seen, that doesn't mean it can't recreate the people from our past as well.
@@jaredtherock5692 having a avengers moment where all the cool dead characters from the lore show up to assault the spire would be the best thing they have done in the franchise
My guess would be that the campaign ends with players trapping or weakening the Witness somehow, so that we still know that he's been prevented from doing whatever villainous stuff he wanted to do -- and then the raid will be more like "finishing him off." Weird analogy: like in _Modern Warfare 3,_ where the second-to-last mission is you rescuing the Russian President and stopping Makarov's faction from controlling Russia so that you can stop the ongoing war -- and then the last mission is you hunting down Makarov after the war has been stopped, and he's still trying to escape.
That's probably how they're going to handle it - stop the Witness from executing its plan first, then track them down and make sure they can't do it again.
I personally wouldn't hate a scenario in which the witness is dead, but the whole world is still in ruins. So over the seasons you still have plenty of threats, but the world is slowly recovering
Another thought is that we kill the physical form of the Witness preventing him from wtinessing, and then the raid is killing off any remnant of him that exists. Kinda like killing the Siva generator and then the siva monster Aksis in Rise of Iron.
@@rockardist well let’s not forget the world of Destiny has always been the ruins of the Witness’s pursuit. Our guardian has never known a universe that wasn’t almost completely devoid of life because of the campaigns of the Black Fleet.
I’m actually really excited about a campaign without “gimmicks.” I think the best stories in destiny never tried to forcefully incorporate new gameplay elements.
Note: The new Warlock Super is called “Song of Flame”, a reference to an old D1 Solar Perk of the same name, where casting Radiance gave your allies increased damage.
@rgnszeb123 dude self rez would break any semblance of what this game is. It's been out since the beginning of d2 and literally every encounter, area, raid, strike, pvp are all made with the assumption that people can't self rez anywhere and everywhere. Their description of Cayde being your “Virgil” for the campaign, makes me think that Cayde is going to end up disappearing at the end, and him being present was effectively the traveler’s last way of helping us win…
the new light class supers look awesome, but i would love to see stasis and maybe even strand get some similar love, some more supers for the darkness subclasses as well!
It’s really sad that it’s just 3 supers in total, where none of the other light subclasses for each of the classes gets another super…feel like that should’ve been addressed first before darkness subclass supers but eh, Bungie
I heard someone say that the new light subclasses are a filler for the specific element that is missing a third variant when Light 3.0 was released. Noticed that Titans are missing a third void, warlock for solar and hunter for arc. I thought that was understandable. Maybe we will get darkness subclass later in the episodes. I know it’s a bummer cause I was hoping for new darkness subclass. But oh well I guess lol@@AnEclecticMind
@@3IRDDYthat doesn't make sense. Arc warlock only has 2 supers, same for solar and arc titan. The only class that would have 3 supers on all light subclasses is hunter.
honestly speaking im skeptical of how bungie will handle the new location, if the pale heart is to be made up of familiar areas i hope they do more with it visually then just nostalgia bait and visual recycling, it does seem to be that what with the statue motif’s around the pale heart, i hope its to the level beyond the dreaming city was when forsaken came out
From how Bungie made it seem the pale heart will start with that nostalgia bait but as you progress through the campaign you enter more and more of the witnesses area

@rexthewolf3149 finally facing the witness and big finale of light and dark saga... we haven't gotten a new enemy race in 8 years and the community has been asking for a new one for years. Pretty obvious tbh why it's expected
Yeah, it seems Cayde is gonna be a memory same as the landscape, which makes me think he'll be unable to leave the traveler. Probably gonna be the destination vendor
This is the first time I have thought about it but what if we don’t win or at least not fully? The Witness being able to at least partially reshape things would really open the door to epilogue and brand new stores.
Personally I think a really sick continuation into the story post-final shape would be to go out of Sol and start undoing the damage the Witness wrought to other worlds, kind of like what the Traveler was doing before it got cornered. Restoring Riis and Torabatl, visiting the lost ruins of ancient civilizations- I think that would be pretty damn cool considering how awesome their alien worldbuilding is already and how well it would fit into the concept of rebounding and rebuilding from the verge of tragedy. And also I really want to see more alien cities. Who can blame me? They're cool!

@@WHlSKYtxit's likely a sendoff expansion as Bungie starts to focus all in on marathon and the new IP ( resources wise ) Destiny will still get content but I think expansions are gone and it's gonna be episodes from here on out Destiny makes a lot of money and is used to fund new projects, and it will continue to get support for many years cause it's still very important
Cayde will undoubtedly be the Vendor for this year. I also suspect the 'linear' destination will be bubbles representing a recycled / remixed area from Destiny past. These will be unlocked with campaign progression, or ... god forbid, with a weekly lockout. and yeah the final bubble will likely finish the loop so we can eventually experience it as a normal destination. I'm honestly delighted about the seasons shifting to 4 months and would have even liked them to be 6 months. Controversial but ... I'd also like the Seasons to drop four months into release rather than when the main expansion drops. I always thought it was messy to have a season story drop with the main expansion and completely muddle the storytelling.
As a linear story, I do agree that seasonal stuff dropping with expansions can be jarring. But from an overall narrative perspective, it gives the feeling of a more dynamic world. One set of characters focuses on the expansion story while another set focuses on a different but still aligned goal.
I mean people already complain about the game being stale in the last month of a season do doubling the size of a season would just lead to even more complaints tbh so I think the episodes system is a good compromise between longer seasons and the system we have now, I’m super curious to see how they play out though
I actually genuinely despise both the thought of and the implementation of Season's dropping on Day One of an Expansion's release. A) It's double-dipping, which is greedy as fuck. B) Just to reiterate, it's double-dipping, which is greedy as fuck. No, but serious reasons that aren't just related to money... You cant really launch a gimmicked season like "Season of Mardi Gras" on the same day as a _serious_ expansion, so, you end up with "Season of the Season", the most _Destiny_ of Destiny Seasons. One simply detracts from the other, no matter which way in your head you have it. One overlaps with the other. What is expansion and what is season? Was this thing I did for Mara Sov part of the seasonal story or the expansion? One outvalues the other. Well, I mean... I got my new subclass for £40... but all the good weapons and activities are in the £10 season. Every single new expansion release, do you FEEL (important to note this is down to FEELINGS rather than actually sitting down and counting) that you get MORE out of the first season of an expansion, or do you FEEL like they've put 50% into the expansion and 50% into the season to come up with 100%? So... TLDR... Give OP what he wants! Drop Seasons 4 months into the release of an expansion.
@@J-manli that would be the case IF we weren't involved with both parties. Like, on one hand we (in lightfall) had osiris throwing at us the epic "i dont have time to explain why i dont have time to explain" on the other hand we are chilling on earth rescuing civilians. Like... sorry but if we fuck this up there will be no civilians to save at all, I think there is a very visible priority here.
People saying no new subclass didnt get the connection with the Episodes color code...... Red is EPISODE 1 being instantly after Final Shape , Blue (Stasis) EPISODE 2 , and EPISODE 3 is GREEN FOR STRAND. So if no 3rd final subclass in the Final Shape the supers would legit be incomplete so i expect it to come afterwards, either in Episodes releases or D3...?
I know this is contrary to what the leaks say, and might be unpopular, but I really hope at some point in the future we get a expansion or episode that focuses on all the non-city aligned human factions, maybe with a non violent or violent conflict with Lysander and the Concordat
I just hope the nostalgia ain't just some dangling keys and "oh remember that you loved that so you should love this expansion!" And is handled real well Also this new season better not kill Xivu Arath off I will be more than angry if that happens.
They did it with quoria and no idea why we need to have xivu held for final shape. They've already made it clear form last seasons and years that people like conclusions to events that aren't just delegated to raid only.

Tbh, I was hoping that the traveler pulled a Valhalla type situation, where it anticipated what the witness was gonna do, and that all past guardians that had died were inside the traveler, ready to fight off any intruders.
I have a feeling they're gonna do a thing where you don't kill the witness in the raid, but rather mortally wound it, and it boots you from its monolith, then at the next weekly reset there's a new 6 (or 12) man matchmade activity that's just a huge final boss fight with the witness where we as a community finally put it down for good
The destination has my hopes pretty high because it looks phenomenal, but I will say im slightly concerned that we aren't getting a new subclass OR a new enemy faction. Real missed oppurtunity there.
It wouldn't track with the timeline of subclass releases that bungie does for destiny. It would be a ton of work making a new subclass just as they released strand in the previous expansion. I wasn't expecting a new subclass as it just seemed unrealistic. However, I look forward to using the new supers.
@@bigfella6719when you consider that strand was probably meant to release with witch queen (straight after beyond light) as seen with the strand symbols on the destination armour and ‘green’ being a big theme, it wasn’t too far fetched to hope for a new one.

@willhardy9731 if bungie introduced a new subclass two expansions in a row, I'd imagine that we'd get another lightfall. I would rather get some cool new aspects and supers with the campaign being good than a bad campaign with a new subclass. This is the final part of the light and darkness saga. I hope they prioritize the story and gameplay over new powers.
Cayde will probably not return permanently as a vanguard, but instead he will be the vendor of the Pale Heart. A vendor on a destination must be someone who can stay there and whom we can feel some connection too while being sort of a guide for the story. Cayde is probably not fully alive, but does exist inside the traveler through his connection to the light. Besides, who else could be the vendor of the location? a random ghost/guardian? A manifistation of the Pale heart? No, Cayde wouldn't be back just to be cutscene material nor will he be permanently back, so this role fits him perfectly.
Honestly, my biggest concern with the "Episodes"? Their infographic implies they're gonna be selling a seperate "battle pass" for each 6-week act (every one of them shows the icons for "Pass Rank" and "Pass Rewards", if you look closely), and if they aren't changing pricing that'll mean double the purchases required to play all the content (4 now vs maybe 9 soon). Now, if they *actually* deliver on the promise of "more content" - great!... Just not sure if their recent statements inspire full confidence in that idea, not to mention we'll have to see if this still keeps the time-limited nature of current seasons (as in "oops, new expansion is out, time to flush all this stuff down the toilet!")
Maybe listen to what they explained about them before spreading misinformation. All 3 acts are part of one "season", sold just like they are now, they just unlock aditional ranks and rewards (50 extra ranks on act 2 and 3 after act 1's 100 ranks) every act, to a total of 200 ranks, which also allows them to put more stuff in the rewards.
Honestly, no 3rd darkness subclass is ok. But only 3 new supers, and for light of all things is what rubs me the wrong way. We should've at least gotten 1 new stasis and maybe even strand super as well. Forsaken had 9 new supers for each light subclass, bungie could've at least done that with 2 new dark supers and 1 light per class. The new weapon archtypes look cool too, but otherwise the final shape doesn't really seem to be bringing much new to the table aside from concluding the story.
Possibly, and this is just what I hope for. There's a chance the season before FS, we could get some darkness aspects and supers. Just a little Stasis and Strand love before FS.
@@KRIATIBROnah it's different, with a new subclass, they have to create new grenades, melees, class abilities, aspects, fragments, subclass key words and functions These are literally just new supers tied to the everything that already exists and a new aspect And another comment mentioned that in forsaken there was 3 new supers per class for a total of 9

One thing I hope they do after final shape is (if it is possible) add the playtime of every single bungie account up and reveal just how many hours the community has collectively put into this story across all 10 years.
My theory is that we’re still getting that Red subclass but that’ll come after the raid. Maybe in place of an exotic weapon, we get the red subclass from the Witness
Anyone who thinks a new subclass is coming is coping; it's a core value proposition to market so it would be silly to keep it hidden (unless bungie is trying to create a facade where they look like they are overdelivering in the last exp.)
I enjoyed what I saw, only thing that I’m curious about is the story, I have no idea how hard they are gonna lean on nostalgia for the dlc so it may or may not be a problem.
I'm thinking that Cayde is gonna be an echo recreated by The Traveler, much like how it recreated old destinations, so if he does stay forever, it'd be like a permanent fixture inside the pale heart.
just a shout out about the support guns, if im interpreting the designs of them correctly, theyre going to have the little hearts on them with the red and white colour scheme, like the AR does which is why i think the shotgun the hunter is holding in the same clip may also be a support weapon, just a hunch though
I'm curious about the episodes, but I am very happy with what we saw. o On Paper, the episodes seem very good anyway. Also, Joe mentioned in the Post show that Radiance does NOT bring back Self res.
Although I’m not surprised I am disappointed that we didn’t get anything beyond 1 new enemy. Even lightfall and witch queen at least had re-skinned cabal and hive, from the looks of it we are just facing more taken/hive + subjugators. The Traveler has some sort of involuntary defensive construct that the Witness has corrupted and turned against the guardian. Again I didn't really expect them to do anything like that but nontheless it would have been a nice change of pace after almost 10 years of no major additions besides maybe the taken and scorn.

I used to play swtor. They implemented a feature where you would solo a "raid" with all the NPCs helping out. Wondering if there is going to be a "raid" final battle where solo players get all the big NPCs to come help
Why stop at solo. Let the final shape raid be 6 people + all the important main cast of guardians participating in a final assault against the Witness. Bungie could even use them for extra mechanics. Things like: Zavala using a banner shield to help you go across a place that is under constant enemy fire and you have to kill certain enemies/things to stop them from supressing him out of his shield. Saint creating bubbles to survive certain wipe mechanics. Feeding light to Ana Bray to overcharge her golden gun to shoot and break an enemy's inmune shields. Protecting Ikora while she charges a souped up nova bomb/chaos reach to erase a chunk of health from a boss. Opening a door mechanism to let Saladin, Caiatl and their cabal through to assist with extremely beefy adds, distracting them so the team can focus on the boss. Powering up Mithraaxx's splicer gauntlet so he can open a huge portal to bring forth a repaired and improved insurrection prime, piloted by Osiris to break down the main gate to the Witness' Monolith, while we protect it by repairing it's weak spots and destroying enemies targeting them. Helping Cayde and Sloane defeat a huge onslaught of enemies to protect Hawthorne, Devrim, and other militia while they transport special explosives or set up positions to use special weapons in order to permanently kill a boss that keeps reviving. An encounter where, with the help of Elsie, Crow and Drifter, we fill up a contraption made by the latter to disable the resonance darkness abilities of the zone. A penultimate encounter where, with the help of Mara and Eris, we debilitate the Witness, preventing him from using his insta-kill abilities from the lightfall cinematics. And finally, an ultimate face off, mano a mano, against the Witness, in a race to kill him before he recovers his powers (the wipe mechanic) (add mechanics to delay the recovery and mechanics to deal significantly increased damage, ala damage stacks with Savathun's boss fight).
I have been out of the D2 gameplay loop since just after the osiris update or whatever, and recently I’ve been getting back into it, just at the end of season 21. In terms of supers i think warlocks is kinda eh compared to the others i personally found radience boring but the changes to it seems cool from the little bit that was shown
I'm glad there's no new subclass or no new enemy faction. I want this campaign to focus on this conclusion than on making it about a new subclass like Lightfall
The content after final shape is kinda trickey. If they introduce an other really big bad it's gonna be like: "I know you just saved reality itself in the most elic way ever, but this is even sorse" but if it's smaller stakes you're just gonna sit in the eliksni quarters, wondering how it came to all this
It's hard for me to get excited for anything since we're not getting the final darkness element. That's the thing I needed the most to let go of Destiny after the Final Shape. It's been 10 years and I've always wondered what the darkness elements would be. That question has been with me since 2014. I just want to let go. 😮💨
My two biggest problems are No new subclass because it's not a big deal but I feel us harnessing true darkness would be a fitting end And the raid being the end of the story I'm slightly less bothered by this with the lfg system so hopefully people will be able to see the end
@@nullandvoid7524 Albeit Echoes, the first one, comes bundled with the Final Shape (and it still costs the same amount to buy enough silver to buy either a season pass or one of these Episodes, the 300 silver increase actually doesnt mean anything)
I don’t understand all the newfound optimism. Content quality aside, Bungie is still straight scamming everyone. Pay for expansions, Pay for seasons, Pay for dungeons, all while having a full cosmetic shop. This alone should be the top priority in community pushback.
Really hope the Super situation with Stasis/Strand gets better at some point but I was overall happy with the showcase. When they introduced Stasis they changed the Subclass selector to have spots for three subclasses on each side of the larger center icon which had your current subclass (And the current subclass was greyed out in the smaller boxes on whichever side) - UI change prep obvious to let them have 3 and 3 subclasses. When Lightfall came out the subclass selector was changed again to have one diamond with four smaller boxes inside, representing the unused subclasses, and your current subclass in the larger center diamond. This seemed obvious to me that they changed their mind on having a 6th subclass (Any time soon).
the first episode has a red theme in the picture they showed and the leaked subclass is red... So I'm guessing they shoved the darkness subclass into the season instead of the campaign to avoid the criticism Lightfall received
My guess for the darkness subclass that got leaked is that it's something we''re gonna get in the Echoes Episode and that's just speculation based on the fact that the subclass we saw was red and of the 3 Episodes Echoes is coloured red also, massive stretch but they might just not wanna overdeliver...
I predict that the new subclass they leaked will come in echos. Hint the red theme. Not just that, blue and green? That foreshadow’s new focus on our remaining dark sub. Now I say that because it makes sense since it’s all focused on light for the dlc. Then darkness after. Which will allow them to polish stasis hint the blue and the red after the dlc conclusion. That makes sense to add the new red subclass
No sure what I feel about the void titan super tho. Animation feels a bit slow for a one-off super, and the fact that axes can be picked up would likely take away a chunk of dmg from the initial axe throws, which isn't necessary great for dps.
As a warlock man I'm very curious to see how the new solar / old solar super holds up in the new sandbox but I'm super happy for Titans thank God they give you a one and done and its cool and unique P.s they did say with the new/old radiant's super you can spam long-range melee attacks that can scorch stuff and most likely spam healing grenades to without needing a kill once again very curious to see how this holds up
Fireteam power is an absolute game changer for J3z. no more "IM 20 POWER UNDER THAT GUY JUST ONE SHOT MMMEEEEEEE". very much looking forward to the first time he uses the "im underpowered" excuse and Datto hits him with some cold hard truth
Btw new aspects for strand is super fun especially Titan you get a melee kill it spawns a circle that follows you and it’s a big circle and then any kills you or your team mates do in the circle increases the pulse and it goes up yo x4 30 seconds is the max and each kill refreshes it and it heals really quickly like woven mail + banner of war you literally take small damage and then instantly heal the damage basically becoming a god
The showcase was good. Its not good enough for me to buy into TFS, Joe and team need to do something they said they wont, Overdeliver. The only way to see that is post launch reviews and community feedback.
Is someone gonna make a compilation of all the funny noises they make while talking about our powers? They always do it in the reveals and its funny as fuck 😂

Our guardian has never known a universe that wasn’t almost completely devoid of life because of the campaigns of the Black Fleet.

the new light class supers look awesome, but i would love to see stasis and maybe even strand get some similar love, some more supers for the darkness subclasses as well!
It’s really sad that it’s just 3 supers in total, where none of the other light subclasses for each of the classes gets another super…feel like that should’ve been addressed first before darkness subclass supers but eh, Bungie
maybe in the next year's expansion, a bigger focus on darkness stuff, story and gameplay wise, new subclass etc
From how Bungie made it seem the pale heart will start with that nostalgia bait but as you progress through the campaign you enter more and more of the witnesses area

@@phifan-mia1503the light & dark saga will end.. then after a break filled with those new episode model they will prob continue and do a new saga

@@WHlSKYtxit's likely a sendoff expansion as Bungie starts to focus all in on marathon and the new IP ( resources wise )

Destiny makes a lot of money and is used to fund new projects, and it will continue to get support for many years cause it's still very important
😂🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Reminder that every expansion we got Light based supers like The Taken King and Forsaken were bangers, Bungie might be cooking with The Final Shape.
Well normally the season ties into the expansion it launches with. Lightfall season revolved around rescuing pows after the witness invades sol
Like... sorry but if we fuck this up there will be no civilians to save at all, I think there is a very visible priority here.
It'd be great/funny if Cayde and Uldren end up really hitting it off and develop a good cop/bad cop duo, I want this so badly
They would probably flip a coin to see who takes what role each time.
I just hope the nostalgia ain't just some dangling keys and "oh remember that you loved that so you should love this expansion!" And is handled real well
Also this new season better not kill Xivu Arath off I will be more than angry if that happens.
They did it with quoria and no idea why we need to have xivu held for final shape. They've already made it clear form last seasons and years that people like conclusions to events that aren't just delegated to raid only.

They mentioned in the post show stream that red death might be solar now as well
I have a feeling they're gonna do a thing where you don't kill the witness in the raid, but rather mortally wound it, and it boots you from its monolith, then at the next weekly reset there's a new 6 (or 12) man matchmade activity that's just a huge final boss fight with the witness where we as a community finally put it down for good
The destination has my hopes pretty high because it looks phenomenal, but I will say im slightly concerned that we aren't getting a new subclass OR a new enemy faction.

No there is one battle pass per episode. It has 100 tiers in Act 1, then 50 more added each in 2 and 3.
I swear at some point I'm going to be dreaming and datto is going to spontaneously appear with a sponsor segment in my dream
3 new supers is literally the same as a new subclass

I used to play swtor. They implemented a feature where you would solo a "raid" with all the NPCs helping out.
Wondering if there is going to be a "raid" final battle where solo players get all the big NPCs to come help
Why stop at solo. Let the final shape raid be 6 people + all the important main cast of guardians participating in a final assault against the Witness. Bungie could even use them for extra mechanics. Things like:
Zavala using a banner shield to help you go across a place that is under constant enemy fire and you have to kill certain enemies/things to stop them from supressing him out of his shield.
It reminds me a lot of the feel they went for during the red war which had that “we gotta go” drive to it
I feel like we HAVE to get a 3rd darkness subclass at some point, as leaving 3 light and 2 darkness would be weird
Exactly, I really hope we get it some how with The Final Shape, maybe they’ll be tied to the Acts?

I do feel the final shape Info was almost too vague, but they did say they wanted it to be as much of a new experience as possible.
I'm glad there's no new subclass or no new enemy faction. I want this campaign to focus on this conclusion than on making it about a new subclass like Lightfall

The content after final shape is kinda trickey. If they introduce an other really big bad it's gonna be like: "I know you just saved reality itself in the most elic way ever, but this is even sorse" but if it's smaller stakes you're just gonna sit in the eliksni quarters, wondering how it came to all this
Can't wait to see all that new Eververse content
It's hard for me to get excited for anything since we're not getting the final darkness element. That's the thing I needed the most to let go of Destiny after the Final Shape. It's been 10 years and I've always wondered what the darkness elements would be. That question has been with me since 2014. I just want to let go. 😮💨
It’s taken goop.
Among all the things they showcased I'm so hyped to see Radiance coming back for Final Shape
My two biggest problems are
No new subclass because it's not a big deal but I feel us harnessing true darkness would be a fitting end
And the raid being the end of the story
I'm slightly less bothered by this with the lfg system so hopefully people will be able to see the end
The vibe im getting from the look of the pale heart area is KIND OF like revelations from BO3 zombies, an amalgamation of past places/event

I'm excited to have Crota come back as that was my favorite D1 raid.
I'm just happy to see that it looks like Destiny 2 will continue a meaningful play experience after Final Shape and not wither away as D1 did.
the first episode has a red theme in the picture they showed and the leaked subclass is red... So I'm guessing they shoved the darkness subclass into the season instead of the campaign to avoid the criticism Lightfall received
why would they not advertise that though, would easily sell tfs deluxe editions/more copies of the episode if they put that in there
My guess for the darkness subclass that got leaked is that it's something we''re gonna get in the Echoes Episode and that's just speculation based on the fact that the subclass we saw was red and of the 3 Episodes Echoes is coloured red also, massive stretch but they might just not wanna overdeliver...
Nah
Top tier ad drop, very Conan O’Brian podcast style, which I enjoy!
I was hoping for the red subclass
No sure what I feel about the void titan super tho. Animation feels a bit slow for a one-off super, and the fact that axes can be picked up would likely take away a chunk of dmg from the initial axe throws, which isn't necessary great for dps.
As a warlock man I'm very curious to see how the new solar / old solar super holds up in the new sandbox but I'm super happy for Titans thank God they give you a one and done and its cool and unique
P.s they did say with the new/old radiant's super you can spam long-range melee attacks that can scorch stuff and most likely spam healing grenades to without needing a kill once again very curious to see how this holds up
Fireteam power is an absolute game changer for J3z. no more "IM 20 POWER UNDER THAT GUY JUST ONE SHOT MMMEEEEEEE". very much looking forward to the first time he uses the "im underpowered" excuse and Datto hits him with some cold hard truth
I absolutely love sunsinger coming back
It all looks like what I wanted going into d2.
Shame it took so long to get here, but like, yeah, cool.
Imagine being in the warlock super and 6 people snapping a raid boss to death with infinite ignitions
Lightfall showcase looked good too. I shall wait for reviews.
my guess is that cayde is reconstructed from our memories, in a similar way to how the witness presumably shaped its spire with light, we (the guardians) will think him into existence subconsciously. bonus points of it isn't the real cayde, a la "the devil" ending in cyberpunk. iykyk.
