  • Welcome to another instalment of Psychology Skill of the Week with school Psychologist Dr Carla Humphrys.
    Our anxiety can really heighten when we try to think about or do too much at one time. It can be really helpful to try and view overwhelming jobs as a series of smaller tasks, instead of one big one. The sayings “one step at a time” or “it’s a cinch by the inch” can serve as useful reminders to do this.
