Cult of Luna are cool but I'm not big into them. The HFTS from this year was a rerecording wasn't it? I liked the original Aokigahara a lot but don't listen to that style much anymore.
@@tonyhawkings2954 Yeah, I wouldn't call myself much of a grind guy. I actually think the genre was kind of spoiled for me because the first two grindcore albums I heard were Insect Warfare's World Extermination and Wormrot's Abuse. To me, nothing else I've ever heard in the style has matched the sheer unhinged and unrelenting insanity of those albums. Both 10/10 in my book. I try to check out new grind albums now and then but I'm usually not blown away by them. No/Mas's debut was cool but too polished for me. I actually liked their EPs a lot better.

Hey somebody who noticed that Inanna album was awesome. I put them in the same piles as other favorite bands like Worm, Ataraxy and Dream Unending.
I can hear the similarities. I need to dive into those bands some more - I know Worm's Foreverglade was getting a lot of hype last year.

My top #1 for 2022 was the latest release from Faceless Entity, I highly recommend that one
