Like an Everflowing Stream helped get me into Swedish death metal, it's still one of my all time favorites. But that being said, Dismember never misses. Awesome ranking!
Like an Everflowing Stream is one of the greatest death metal albums of all time. It slightly edges out Left Hand Path for me but my god Swedish Death is the gift that keeps on giving.
@@dirge2590my tastes have changed over the past 5 months but considered dead is definitely the best Gorguts album although Indecent and Obscene is my favorite dismember album currently. Left Hand Path still reigns supreme!
It's a really good album, but it has things (e.g., an odd production) that prevent me from enjoying it as much as their other material. Dismember don't have a bad album, Hate Campaign is just beaten out by most of their other stuff for me.
I bought that album when it came out and I love it still like I did back then. It is an album all my buddies slept on for some reason, but yeah amazing album.🤘
my favourite thing abouts dismember's music is that they were able to incorporate melody in some of their songs without going full into melodic death metal while some others are straight death metal i think kärki's vocals are on point on almost every album and he has a really distinctive style if they are not going to release new music i would love to love some re-recordings of old songs just as Sodom did with the 40 years record
To me personally, I can say overall I don't have a preference and love all Dismember albums equally, for the most part at least. The only few that have a slight edge over the others are "Massive Killing Capacity", "Where Ironcrosses Grow" and "Indecent And Obscene". I mainly feel confident in saying that for the most part I love them all equally because overall despite the differences between the album, it's still the same Dismember throughout the entire discography. Nothing they did ever really went that far off from their established style. Similar to Cannibal Corpse once Corpsegrinder joined staying to their formula I can say that this formula is the biggest reason why Dismember works so well for me. It's simple just pure Death Metal from a couple of guys just having fun and making music together and not really trying to be the best songwriters just make things the way they have. That last bit is actually from an interview of the band itself, they worded it more like "we don't really consider ourselves that good of songwriters, I mean at the end of the day we're just a couple of guys playing Metal" and I feel like that did contribute a little more to me loving the band because it's very similar to how I go about thinking when making my own music, so overall I just love Dismember because they never stopped being themselves \m/
i agree with your review of an everfowing stream, i think some ppl didn't listen to the whole discography just like entombed. my top 3: 1-massive killing capacity 2-dismember 3-where ironcrosses grow
I like your approach to picking these apart. This will help me get further into the catalog. One gripe, your pronunciation of the word melodic ( which you use often) is off. Its not “mellowdick”. Mel - ah -dic😂
Thanks for the tip. I actually thought the other channels I was watching were pronouncing it wrong. Then I Googled the proper pronunciation after seeing your comment, and it turns out that no, I'm the one who's been saying it wrong the whole time. Oh well. Anyway, thank you for the support!
I’m not huge on Swedish death Metal definitely prefer Finnish but dismember is definitely the best and most consistent, can’t wait for the vinyl reissues

Considered Dead washes both, but these 2 are in my top 10 death metal albums

This channel kicks ass thank you for introducing me to some bands I haven’t heard of!
Indecent and Obscene is a total banger
Never understand how many people think Hate Campaign is the weakest album. At one point it was my most listened to Dismember album.

To me, Death Metal is Dismember's peak, followed by the total banger of MKC.
Same. And Like An Ever Flowing Stream at #3.

Ever flowing Stream would honestly be in my Incredible or Favorite catalog. It’s just so sick and the tone is super clutch. Great ranking though! 👍
Thanks!

Great points. They're an incredibly consistent band in terms of both style and quality.
Agreed collection is mind blowing !
Really well reviewed.

When you said "dreaming in red" is overrated i cried. Its one of the best in death metal for me. But i kinda agree with your list anyway.
Also i discovered recently that when "Massive killing capacity" came out some people were pissed.....meh i dont understand them.
Yeah especially the outro and the intro are mind blowing
Death Metal, to me is still one of the greatest albums ever wrote.🤘
Great video, and I agree with your order. Just curious, why did you not include the album “Pieces” from 1992?
I always saw that listed as an EP? I usually try to stick with just full-lengths for my ranking videos.
You should of included pieces 😭
Dismember never disappointed, Entombed did
They did disappoint when they stopped releasing music
Its been too long since the reunion . .
Ever flowing stream!!!
Is "no ghost is holy" a remake of "of fire"? That's what I feel like, the two songs sound crazy similar. Is it just me?

@@metalvibez a darn shame that the entire catalog is OOP. Be great if Nuclear Blast would re issue.
@@peterock4210 I'm sure they will at some point - hopefully soon. I get the impression there's a lot of demand for Dismember CDs and vinyl.
Indecent and obscene by far
great video
I think Dismember is going to Maryland death fest 24 hoping I can go
You sound like and look like birdperson from rick and morty
First three are my favorite after that it’s a mess
Give them a second listen, the only weak one is hate campaign
Here's my ranking;

Interesting list! I'm surprised to see The God That Never Was so low.
Just found this video. I love it. The only problem is that you made a pretty obvious mistake. All Dismember albums are S-tier! You're welcome.
I’m not huge on Swedish death Metal definitely prefer Finnish but dismember is definitely the best and most consistent, can’t wait for the vinyl reissues
Death metal fans not being able to pronounce "melodic" is pretty stereotypical.. Just kidding, nice list
Take a shot everytime he mispronounces "melodic"
1. Indecent And Obscene
2. Massive Killing Compacity
3. Like an Ever flowing Stream
Collection by Blood, One of the most underrated tracks
