The light that never goes out is never gonna give you up
I don't know how often I watched this video by now. Can't count anymore. Rick is just amazing with his deep voice + fabulous crowd singing from start to end. Wish I would have been there !
What an absolutely compelling performance from Rick and The Blossoms. And the crowd ! Amazing.
I must have watched like a hundred times.
I ask myself, "WHO could you think of who could have done this better?" And the answer really is "No-one in today's circles".
The music is exactly as you want and should hear it, and Rick's vocals are on point!! It's simply Epic!
You wouldn’t have imagined this but Rick and the Blossoms absolutely kill it. He is an absolute showman we saw him here in Oz with aha and it was a brilliant night.
Wouldn't have expected to get goosebumps reading this, but I did. Oh, the very thought of it , you LUCKY people!!
They played a nationwide tour last year and smashed it. ⭐️
One of my highlights of Glastonbury, so glad I was there to experience it!
Rick Astley is such a nice guy and a vastly underrated musician. I'm so glad that we still get to experience his music and artistry.
this energy is unmatched.. Keep going Rick Astley and the Blossoms!
Still watching again and again and again absolutely brilliant Rick and the Blossoms get on tour make this old man of 70 happy love it
This set is gonna be remembered as one of Glastonbury's greatest!
So happy to see so many comments praising Rick Astley and the blossoms. I thought they were by far the best act of the 3 days, they took the roof off!! Well done everyone involved and well done Rick especially you were awesome!!
That was literally soul filling. Thank you, Rick. I'm so glad you never gave us up.
The best cover of this song I’ve ever heard
I really cant believe I'm saying this but I'm absolutely loving Rick's rendition. I have a newfound respect for him.
The crowd!! 🙌
Well done Rick, well done Blossoms. That whole set was perfection. Not even the biggest Smiths fan but what a job bringing those legendary songs back to life!
A masterclass for all to see and hear. Pure musicianship and humble fandom. Much respect to you all. 💐👏
Can’t beat a great song and a strong vocalist.
Not only is Rick absolutely amazing at sinigng the songs of The Smiths, the Blossoms recreation of the music is just incredible. That Strat?!? oh yea it sounds incrdeible.
Rick Astley is a treasure that must be protected at all costs.
Rick Astley is a precious soul. Protect him at all costs.
how do you plan to do that?
Yes, let's protect millionaire rick. And let's banish mozza to the long road out to cursed earth. That's how it works, right?
@@booster330 Morrisey literally has an estimated net worth of 50 mil, compared to Rick Astley's estimated 16 mil. And that's ignoring the fact that you sadly think money is the only variable when it comes to wanting to protect someone. So your argument falls flat on all fronts. It's actually sad that there's people that think like you
@@chosone2 Lol@ thinking you're in a position to protect rick Astley . You people really are sheeple😅
@@booster330 Did any of what I commented say anything about me personally wanting to protect Rick Astley? So not only do you fail to make a competent argument, apparently you can't read either.
I was a huge fan of Rick's in the 80's, and spent years listening to the jokes about him. I am so happy to see him win Glastonbury this year with such ease. And i love to see the respect he's getting from the same people who couldn't stand him back in the day!! ❤
Rick Astley reminding us once again why he is a legend.
Absolutely CRUSHED it !!!!! Blossoms deserve some credit too. Rick you legend
That drummer is having a blast :D
A Ricknaissance. He’s got through the memes and come full circle. Top bloke.
Please don't tell me why this is not the most joyful and brilliant thing I have watched in a long time. I don't want to know.
Having seen the smiths in 84 this just blew me away. The best set at Glastonbury ever
