Each their own preferences and play style but you can be a Wood Elf without being a Stealth Character. But Wood Elf is the 2nd best playable race after Argonion:) A bit of Lore about Skyrim/Elder Scrolls Universe, the "White-Gold Concordant" wasn't truly necessary. Game development/mechanic wise it is necessary. But in game lore, The Redguards of Hammerfell (a different region of the world) they were part of the Empire. Basically after the Empire signed that treaty with the Thalmor that the Redguards had no choice in. The Redguards personally kept fighting for many years after and essentially defeated the Thalmor in their region of the world. So technically the Empire with it's vast other resources could have kept fighting without surrendering and possibly have done the same. But the Emperor was a weak coward who didn't keep fighting. That ,"White Gold Concordant" basically destroyed the Empire! 27:04 THE STORMCLOAKS ARE THE BEST! THE EMPIRE/IMPERIALS SUBMITTED TO THE REAL RACISTS THE THALMOR! The Thalmor want to destroy the entire mortal/material world and they slaughter innocents who aren't considered good/pure enough for their Race. They also want to eliminate and/or enslave all None-Elven Races. So the Empire/Imperials submitting to them is really evil! 37:04
@@PeachiLeaves There are other reasons to choose Stormcloaks as well. If you choose the Imperials, some of the Jarls that are Imperial Loyalists are Corrupt/Criminals. With the Stormcloaks only a couple are bad, but even then aren't Corrupt/Criminals at least.
She won't use certain Bows & Arrows. I've tried in past playthroughs to give her a powerful max enchanted Dragonbone Bow & Matching Arrows yet she still uses basic Hunting Bow and no arrows stronger then Steel/Ancient Nord. So more often since then I have her main weapon be a Two-Handed Weapon.
@@morrigankasa570I have discovered that followers don’t need a fancy bow, just one arrow of the strongest you can find,,,Belethar always sells bone arrows, so all of my housecarls have one bone arrow, which is unlimited for them☺️
Looks like you have enjoyed the game. There are so many things to do and places to explore. And as far as choices go...you can be anything. Join anything. The only exception is the Imperial vs Stotmcloak sides. That WILL have an effect on certain towns. Best to just be the Dragonborn and stay neutral.
Greetings! I assume you are playing on Twitch. Could you please supply the link in your UA-cam channel description? Might I suggest that you pan your camera a bit slower? It's a little difficult to concentrate on the view for some of us. While traveling you might try 3rd person in order to see the area around your character without shifting the view so often. 9:57 at this point, I agree with the light armor and archery skills but don't neglect the one hand skill for when you are caught in close quarters combat. Stealth Archery is a good choice for first time playing but, fair warning, there are a lot of people who post that type of build. Good luck on your adventure. I hope to be around to share your journey through Skyrim!
You should probably ask a blacksmith in Whiterun or Riverwood if they need help around the forge. They will give you a quick tutorial for smithing which you will appreciate as your character grows.
Thank you for your comment! I agree that there are times I’m a bit violent with the camera but I blame my lack of self awareness on that so I apologize! A few people have told me that the stealth archery build was a common build, but had no clue when I first started. Hopefully it won’t be too boring to watch!
Here is a bit of a cheat, but not a gamebreaking one. As you know your followers can carry stuff if you trade with them, but they have a weight limit if traded with. However, if you drop items then talk to your follower. ask them to do something from the choices, then click on the item you just dropped and they will pick it up. They will continue to pick items up with no carry limit....weird. But it saves on having to run back to town all the time to sell stuff.
@@PeachiLeaves A couple other ways to avoid over-encumbered problems are: Get a Horse, then you can have thousands of pounds of carry weight ride your horse and then can fast travel still. The other is a later game higher level power you can acquire. It's part of the Dragonborn DLC and is called "Black Market".
The arrow in the knee is not historical nor about marriage. According to the one who wrote it, it is just a filler. But people believe it and keep spreading it.

I’ve never seen anyone get lost in the gates of whiterun before 😂😂😂
Listen, okay, I am the only one I know to have this incredible talent lol
It’s trippy going from my modded playthrough to your vanilla let’s play 🥴😂
That’s what I was saying on your videos! It’s so crazy to see what all you can do with this game to make it even more interesting!
Completely agree with your choice to go with storm cloaks based off of what happened.
I was really just going off of the fact they imprisoned me lol

@@PeachiLeavesexactly it makes sense for a new player to escape with them and it also makes sense for your character.
1:05:10 my least favorite part of Bethesda games is that I can only take 1 humanoid follower, it’s always driven me crazy.
I believe there is a mod that allows you to have multiple followers,,,,my issue is that sometimes followers fight each other 😂😂
Touch the thing in front of the statue of talos
Lydia is a heavy armor fighter but i have given her all kinds of weapons including magic staffs and bows and she will use them.

I didn't know about her bow problem, but i have seen her go into battle with a magic staff in each hand. So badass.

@@stormym5434 Interesting, but still odd that Lydia can't/won't use such powerful bows like I mentioned.

For her first playthrough she should probably play through it just to see everything the game has to offer.

You still have a disease which is why everyone is saying you don't look so well. You need to check under magic and use a shrine to cure it or a potion
This was recorded about a year ago, she’s much better at the game now and the quality increased a little more over time.

I honestly need to use horses more - I'm sorry to say I don't utilize them that much during my playthrough lol
