LoreRim is a Wabbajack modlist utilizing an integration of mods such as Attack - MCO, Requiem and MUCH MUCH more. Most importantly, it makes Skyrim the game it should've been in 2011 with the visuals of today.
Modern Combat, Animations & Gameplay
LoreRim features the best combat mechanics currently available. Using Maxsu's fork of Attack - MCO-DXP, Maxsu Poise, Stances, Precision, SCAR, Combat Pathing Revolution, etc - third person combat has never felt so satisfying. More about first person? LoreRim has you covered! First person also has unique stance animations and mechanics. You can dodge and perform bow dodge shots in first person. Many of the flashier mods such as Rapid Bow Combo have been taken down a notch and custom perk-locked so that you don't feel overwhelmingly powerful early on. Finally, every setting has been tweaked to perfection so that your attacks have weight. Each hit will feel visceral. Each move you make matters.
Visuals, Atmosphere & World
From the rolling tundra of Whiterun, the frigid glaciers of Winterhold, the mysterious depths of Blackreach - everything in LoreRim is modernized. Trying to stay true to Skyrim's tone of regional biomes, each hold should feel unique and diverse. Textures and Meshes were handpicked between literally hundreds of graphical mods. Each city and town is now much larger and great care has been taken to make nothing look "out of place". Finally, many new world additions will dot the landscape, filling in the gaps of otherwise empty space. Some notable graphical mods are: Atlantean, Riton and Tomato's Landscapes. NAT3 Weather. Lux, Lux Via, Lux Orbis. Several ENB options including Dawnfire, Cabbage, Amon, Rudy. Along with all of these changes, the world is more immersive and interactable than ever. Find hidden treasures, pet a dog or cat, go fishing or camping, see yourself perform various actions when interacting with things, become a bard. The possibilities are endless!
New Armors, Weapons & Spells
Every playstyle has been given new equipment and mechanics. Stealth fans will love LoreRim's countless new light armors, bow mechanics, Book of Shadows and more. You can craft alchemy oils to temporarily enchant your weapons or use smoke bombs or even regular bombs to get out of tough situations. Magic users will be given hundreds of spells across each magic school from Apocalypse, Triumvirate, Kitttail's Spells and Requiem - Magic Redone. Combat-focused characters will enjoy new weapon types such as spears, javelins, pikes, halberds, katanas, tantos, shortswords and more. Each race has armor expansions as well which are distributed to NPCs so that you don't feel obligated to go a crafting route.
Quests, Lands & Roleplaying
Requiem isn't called "The Roleplaying Overhaul" for no reason and I have worked hard to expand on this philosophy. In LoreRim, you will hear hundreds of new NPC dialogues that you have never heard before. Vanilla quests have been overhauled as much as possible with multiple quest expansions with a particular focus on the Companions, College of Winterhold, Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood and Bard's College. New lands and DLC-sized quest mods such as Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, Project AHO, Sirenroot, Siege at Icemoth, Unfaltered Virtue, Saints & Seducers Extended Cut, Clockwork and much more work their way in for countless hours of new and lore-friendly content. All of these quests have been rebalanced and patched for the best possible visuals and gameplay experience.

Currently staring into a mirror saying "don't buy a 1TB SSD just to play this game" over and over. I don't think I'm convincing myself.
That's nonsense, just go for a 500GB one, it's enough ;)
Lorerim itself is 550 GB total lol@@bagofsunshine3916
neither am i..
@bagofsunshine3916 true but if I'm gonna but the 500gb I'm gonna buy the 1tb. More storage is always nice lol
@@bagofsunshine3916 It is not, for the wabbajack installation of Lorerim you need 543gb. You can delete the downloads files once they are already installed reducing the occupied space at 304gb but still for the installation you need the 543gb. If there is a way to install Lorerim with 500gb and I'm just too noob to know I would like to know tho :v.

I wish he would just commit to it. He knows he wants to 😂
Bethasda is quivering in their boots over the sheer dedication on the Skyrim community.
I doubt it, there are plenty of Bethesda fans who will happily settle for mediocre or even hope for it. Bethesda knows this and will squeeze their fans to the last drop.

But if it doesn't it's okay the fans will fix it for us
"oh no guys, please stop buying our games over and over and playing them forever while we dont lift a single finger"
Yeah wow a dedicated and obsessive fanbase that get over a decade of mileage out of a game, and keep bringing in new players... Every developers nightmare 😂
Awesome! I'm glad you're enjoying LoreRim :) let me know if you run into any issues.
I can say that we are all grateful for all the work you've put in your modlist. Thank you, truly. (And eternal gratitude to all the modders).
Echoing Guilherme, this is a legendary effort and you've achieved a truly good thing for rpg gaming as a whole.
omg its biggie himself, i´m unworthy!
Is it on console?
And if no, will it ever be?
Looks amazing
@@rubenguerreiro9382 there will NEVER EVER be the possibility to run a game with 500GB of more than 3500 mods on any gaming console my friend.
The sad truth of this video is that Lorerim will probably be a better experience than TES VI :(
Let's hope not.. but it honestly almost feels like I'm playing what I'd like TES 6 to look like.
@@TheWandererPlaysyea im hoping bare minimum ES6 looks as good as this!
Its a dark time for us elder scrolls fans when we have expectations like this for our next game😭 hopefully bethesda doesnt pull any punches with this game and deliver us something amazing
Honestly with how starfield was... i expect TES:VI to be pretty bad or at best mid. I'm fine with skyrim being the last TES title if that's the case, but we can hope it's decent if it comes out.
It's why id like more ppl to put effort in making quest or content mods. They will be more interesting than the slop modern Beth puts out
@@darudesandstormer8826Stop settling for the slop modern video game companies crap out, you deserve better for the prices they charge.
I’m over 150 hours into this one. I honestly can’t put into words how perfected this mod list is. This is now my favourite game of all time. Every aspect of the game has been tweaked and expanded upon for that ultimate experience. It’s honestly insane the added level of detail and content that’s been put into this. Highly recommend this mod list for those looking for an extreme Skyrim experience.
I agree with you! I broke rule 11 over 250 times with mods that added to my personal exp and it’s still extremely stable. Configured animation conditions and added new anims. This game is so amazing it really is the perfect game now!
Our ps5 got coldsweats just hearing the performance in this video
You know that a mod compilation is good when at 0:35 a pidgeon has neck animation...
i noticed that will happen to 'drunk' npcs sometimes
I'm an hour into this video (first video i've watched from you) and the RP bits aren't cringe at all. They make the playthrough stand out and i love how you teach lore bits. Instant subscribe from me!
9:04 Trinimac was the champion of Auriel during the dawn war against Shor/Lorkahn and humanity. The Daedric prince Boethiah would battle, defeat, and consume Trinimac. Later Boethiah would release Trinimac in a blighted, deformed state; Malacath. Malacath would be ridiculed and banished from the elves, but his followers who choose to go with him were transformed into the orsimer.
yea, and during the events of eso there were also a group of orcs who went back to worshipping trinimac
Doesnt orsimer mean mud elves
@ it means “pariah folk”. They took the name because Malacath’s sphere includes Pariahs
@@prophetchosen862the got that name because pariah means outcast which makes since cause Malacath is the god of curses and outcasts
Oh I love that you're putting some work into your character's name and stuff. Lovely lore there.
how skyrim was meant to be played for sure
This is literally exactly what I needed for my winter gaming! This looks absolutely stellar!
I have watched you since SWTOR (wow, that was a long time ago!), and I can't wait to see your adventures in Lorerim!
That's crazy. I honesty didn't think anyone watching my current content had been around that long. When I rebranded my channel and started making lets play style videos, all of my SWTOR friends pretty much disowned me, told me how lame and cringe I was, and would only make fun of me any time I talked to them. That was back when I had 50 subscribers. Walked away from all that toxic mentality and never looked back.
@@TheWandererPlayswuuut. Vocal minority I guess.
@@TheWandererPlays Yep! I used to do homework with your PvP streams running in the background. Your streams basically taught me how to play Carnage and Smash Marauder! Although when the warzone arenas were released, you and the Infinite Darkness boys did push my shit in a few times, but it was very fun! However, I don't blame you for walking away from toxicity like that, and I'm glad to see your channel doing well!
@@TheWandererPlays Good lord, that's incredibly toxic. I hope you've got a much better friend circle now!
Oh boy 3500 mods that too many to install on my own but watching Wanderer going trough Lorerim that for sure will be good.
It's quite easy since it's a wabbajack. You do need 550+ GB of free space and a monster CPU/GPU and a lot of ram though.
@@TheWandererPlays got a question, got a 11700k 32 gb ram and a 4070 super, will that be sufficient for this?
@@inabearsuit2425 -550GB of space (250GB are downloads and can be placed on any drive, the 300GB install must be on a Solid State Drive)
-16GB of RAM
-Preferably a high-performing CPU such as at least an 11th gen Intel i7 or higher or AMD equivalent.
-GPU Vram Requirement is roughly 12GB for Ultra, 8GB for Normal and 6GB for Performance (depending on GPU)
It's on modlist page, on nexus
And from what I can see, fair guess would be to play on High even if you have recommended specs for Ultra. I highly doubt you will notice much difference, but will get smoother experience on your end.
@@inabearsuit2425 it will, if it isnt efficient for ultra, theres a performance profile that i ran for my 2060 that worked good
Thanks friend, I don't speak English natively and I was having difficulty understanding what "thirty five hundred" is.
1:09:57 custom voices being added to the game always throw me off because it's like, "Hey, this isn't one of the 5 VAs bethesda hired"
On an interesting note, both Orc gods are the same person.
9:13 Malakath is actually the twisted version of Trinimac. He was "corrupted" by Boethia and all Followers of Trinimac became Orcs. (That is pretty basic btw)
Didn't Boethia technically... eat him and poop him out? And the pooped out person was Malacath? Hm, so worshipping Trinimac would seem nonsensical then, since he no longer exists as he has become Malacath.
@@TheWandererPlays True, but some Orcs believe that Trinimac is kinda held prison by Malacath and still worship him. They're wearing ebony armor instead of Orichalcum because it represents the Blood of Shor/Lorkhan who got killed by Trinimac. It's really complicated. If you want more professional Information i recommend the lore video on Orcs by Fudgemuppet.
@@TheWandererPlays Big fan of your Videos btw. 😅
I'm wondering what sorts of things this modlist put's in for Orc followers of Trinimac, does Malacath get super pissed at you when you do his quest?
This is what dedication looks like both from the player’s side and those who made this mod
Best Skyrim vid I’ve seen in a while
Absolutely gorgeous mod list, and the mounted combat looks so fluid. I can't believe you didn't recognize Sky Haven Temple! It's been years since I've played but that's a major location in the main quest line. I'm pretty sure it's Legacy of the Dragonborn that overhauls the temple's overlook into a base of operations with a comprehensive crafting and material storage node.
So I played Skyrim for about 500 hours when it came out, so I do remember some of the main story beats, and I'm sure once I go through the main story it will jog my memory, but for now... practically feels like a new game. Which is amazing, I get to experience this amazing game all over again.
There is a second perk tree called the Destiny tree FYI.
You already got 1 perk point for it, you get one on your first level up then every 5 levels.
The first perk gives you 25 carry weight when you take it.
Ah yes I keep forgetting to assign stuff there. Those perks are awesome. How does the Destiny tree work? Under what conditions do you earn points for it?
@@TheWandererPlays you can open it using either a hotkey, or selecting "custom skills" when you open the normal player menu (its right next to skills).
You get a point to assign as you like every 5 levels, and you ger just enough by level 31 to reach the end of the tree.
This mod looks great. Thanks for showing it. And bonus, more Requiem, which is always good.
Loved this video, stumbled on it in my recommended, and I loved the gameplay and especially all the lore and storyline you explained throughout it! I love roleplay playthroughs, as well as long videos, so this was perfect!
This feels like the start of an amazing series. Cant wait to see how it goes!
yes YES YES! THIS IS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR PLAYING THIS
Another wanderer series is always a good thing. Thanks bud, looking forward to the next episodes.
The Foresworn are killing ppl in the streets, do you know what happened? - "I am what happened" 😂😂😂
This... is amazing 👏 Really enjoying this. Watching it on my TV for max detail and it is WORTH IT 👌
Finally, they made Skyrim an actual RPG, amazing modlist
Alright I ready for the next episode already. Love this.
nice to see some Orc love, have a Lady-Orc file going myself atm
I wish my wallet would allow me a pc to play this on, this and the beyond skyrim stuff plus skyblivion and the morrowind in skyrim engine, i foregt thhe name all look so good. I wouldnt even know this was skyrim without looking carefully, so cool. Well done modders. Cool vid too, you earned my sub. Thanks.
2:46 he talked about not wanting to be cringe and then went on to translate the language and explain the last name lore of orcs 🤣
Brother this is why I love skyrim since day 1 I have played it and the Modders are the absolute units keeping this game alive so many good mods still getting made I can't wait for skyblivion I hope you play it ill watch every second peace and love brother ❤
I’ve had a lot of problems with getting this damn game to work. I still have problems with crashing and not recognizing my keyboard…
Am loving this mod list. The gameplay looks gorgeous. I can't wait for more.
What a powerful start, instant full orcish armor and plents of cash too :D
The orcish city you mentioned at 16:30 is Orsinium, its pretty cool it was under seige for 30 years before it fell which was wild, also if you were wondering why Trinimac was avaliable to be a deity choice as well as Malacath its because theyre the same being, Trinimac was turned into Malacath by Boethiah when she ate him.
When i buy new pc, Skyrim and this modlist are first things I'm going to install XD crazy :)
It's going to be sad if the overworld we see here ends up looking better graphically than TES6. Which, if Starfield is anything to go by, it very well might.
i don't care about the graphics if they nail thee game play, story telling and lvling crafting. it could look like oblivion and id still buy it.
Just a correction: Gold does actually have weight in Lorerim.
It can end up adding to quite a lot depending on how much you're carrying (only really noticeable when in the tens of thousands though)
Ah ok, it was noticeable when you had even like 1k on you in Wildlander, so I assumed it must be weightless here. Good to know.
I am not ready. I will lament my PC if I have just a hint of that kind of Skyrim.
The best modlist imo 👌
It really is. When I went looking for a complete skyrim overhaul, THIS is what I had in mind. Don't get me wrong, I think Wildlander is great and it's also much more friendly on performance, but if you have a powerful PC, Lorerim is the way to go.
@@TheWandererPlays It has performance and normal profiles tho
@@knapdkcn even those are pretty intense to be fair.
@@TheWandererPlays My issues with Lorerim are minor and it's because I miss certain mods (Hunterborn over simple hunting, Campfire over the camping cc mod, Frostfall over...all. I don't want to remake patches so it's not a simple swap around. Otherwise biggie knocked it out of the park.
@jaybirdjargon yeah LoreRim sets a ridiculously high bar for curated modlists but that comes at the cost of editability. It is far and away the worst list to tweak that I know of.
You not recognizing Karthspire and Sky Haven Temple hurts me, it's one of the big quests on the main line.
The forsworn camp was the skyhaven temple
PERFECTION *CHEFS KISS*
Glad to see you playing this Wandy! I've been playing as a mage in LoreRim and it's been rough but it will payoff soon I'm sure. Started and am still watching your most recent Horizon playthrough and loving it!
Same brother my first 10 hrs have been rough also
I'm currently playing and having lots of fun with Gate To Sovengard and now my favorite Bethesda channel is having a Lorerim playthrough??? I'm so excited! I would've played Lorerim but I fear I wouldn't have enough space for it, or that my pc would be able to run it yet. Maybe at a later date...
make use of VRAMr, biggie made a vid ab it. it downscales textures to release some vram, really good for high mod count lists
They really ought to look to folks like these to help put together their games. Kinda funny how long ES6 has taken just forces these brilliant people to mod the heck outta Skyrim like this!
Nice, Wandy found Lorerim!
Getting that feeling again watching this... my finger is hovering over the install button... oh gee.
It's been two weeks brother, did you resist, or play this masterpiece
57:03 I like how the Thalmor starts whistling Lord of the Rings tune

Definitely following this playthrough; algorithm gifted this to me lol
watching this video inspired me to download the modpack and give requiem a try!
"I have a soft spot in my heart for these ugly bastards" LOL
The third person view with this graphics, kinda reminds me with ark 😂
This is my first time watching your channel and I must say this is definitely a great experience. You need to do more of these and also different characters too. That would be cool.
I really hope note.. but I understand what you’re saying. Like I told my wife “between the mods and the community, we’ve kept Skyrim alive almost 15 years and it can look like it does in this video. All we have to do is take the story of TES VI and integrate it into Skyrim through mods and tweak it how we feel it should be. To give the Elder Scrolls series a proper send off.”
Let’s hope we don’t have to pay Todd a visit. 😂
Minor nitpick is that slavery was actually outlawed in morrowind shortly after the events of morrowind and shortly before the events of oblivion. But I do think the telvanni still practices it illegally. Possibly house Dres as well.
I actually worried about that when I was thinking about my characters backstory, but in the end decided "eh, there are probably still some people that practice it, morrowind is a bit of a "wild west" of a region, screw it" lol. Some of the mage lords are so powerful it's kind of like... they'd just go "You want me to stop using slaves? Make me lol" and no one could.
finally, a youtuber that makes Skyrim playthroughs without cringy roleplay 😁
watch Baylium's Khajiit roleplay.
I hope my future self can play skyrim mod like this. I have never felt the feeling of playing a game with stable 60 fps. The only game I can play above 100fps is CS 1.6. I will work hard to be able to play heavy games stably like you
Really cool to see you playing Biggies list. This is awesome :D
oh man, this is amazeballs so far!
yo lets go! lorerim time babee. Chests with a green bar, you can wack em open with a weapon btw.
Extremely hyped for this.
This modpack looks really interesting. Will have to try Lorerim out once i have my 2tb nvme inside my PC.

holy crap the game looks amazing
I enjoy mods that add fleshed-out NPCs, it just seems so hard to add voiced ones that feel immersive, probably because vanilla Skyrim only has like 4 voice actors, so any other voice seems out of place.
Agreed, so strange that it never felt immersion breaking to hear the same voice for a Jarl, and like 10 different vnedors etc... but when we hear someone brand new, it sounds odd to us.

Well, the orc god Malacath did literally get eaten and pooped out by another god soooo... maybe accurate.
this needs to be a series
It is. It's like 12 episodes deep now.

1:55 Kill not the part of you that is cringe, kill the part of you that cringes.
3:20 It's always jarring when one sees a massive difference. I'm so use to seeing PSBoss's statues, that the one there caught me off guard.
9:00 To be fair, Trinimac and Malacath are technically the same god, but Malacath is after Trinimac was eaten and crapped out by another god.
10:56 That's acvtually a very good point. There needs to be a mod that adds amulets and shrines (or allows you to worship at their already existing shrine) to EACH deadric god.
19:50 That's actually really distracting. You can see his tusks moving with his lips while he talks. They're only supposed to move with his jaw since they're teeth, but they squish in and out. That's a mod oversight.

Unrelated to the current content, but do you plan on continuing your FROST playthru? Ik it’s supposed to be permadeath but I wouldn’t mind seeing you continue to play on that save
To be honest i have been dreading and putting off doing the heavily edited second half of the latest video and I think I may switch back to my normal "lightly edited" style, basically like this video for Frost. The enthusiasm from viewers has been nice but spending 3 hours recording and 5-8 hours editing/narrating the content down into a 20-30 minute video is just a soul crushing amount of work, and not something I can continue doing while also having a full time job. I gotta have time to cook and clean and do all that normal "adulting" stuff that we unfortunately have to do. So yes, it will continue, and uh... I didn't die that I was aware of. But it's going to be my normal style video (like this, but a bit shorter).
Yeah I got that part mixed up with someone else I think, my bad :D
@@TheWandererPlays I rather watch the uncut stuff. It's a more enjoyable journey. With all the good and bad. The frost series is awesome. But this here is really promising. Love the character. Roleplay as an orc starting with just a few items is awesome.

Lorerim is definitely the bees knees
Good mod list if you can run it, unfortunately my 7800xt and 5800x isn’t quite enough for a smooth experience, but it’s cool to see others play it.
There's a performance mode for it but... man I'll be honest I thought it looked really bad in comparison. Still a great mod list in terms of gameplay without the graphics, but the graphics on ultra are just *chef's kiss*.
@ I found that there wasn’t a huge difference in performance between the modes, and yeah the normal and performance look significantly worse than ultra. To be fair I’m playing at 4k but Wildlander runs smoothly for me, need a 4090 to play LoreRim at 4k I guess lol.
Here I am with 779 mods thinking (man I’ve really out done myself) just to see someone with a 3500 mod list 😂
