MJF sounded like he was gonna cry out of anger. That’s talent, regardless of it’s a work or shoot. And the fans even seemed confused.
He's incredible. By far the best on the mic. He entered with all boos, but by the end he changed the crowd and everyone was cheering. Absolute legend
It's not talent, it's real. This is the first time that a legit personal beef was shown. He wasn't kidding. Tony has been financially screwing him.
The fans were so confused they chanted his name over and over through the commercial break. That takes someone special to have fans booed him in the start of promo and chant his name by the end.

It's crazy that MJF is a top draw considering he hasn't been in a title feud. He has the best storylines and thats what draws casuals and new fans in.
He was in a title fued with jon moxley when he was AEW champ.
he had one against Moxley at All Out 2020
I honestly believe MJF will become CM Punk while CM Punk will become John Cena, and we will have a new AEW World Champion by September at ALL OUT.
Just think about all the high profile feuds he's been in... From Cody, to Moxley, Jericho, Punk, Wardlow...

But you know what? Old school can still be considered new school. You know why? Because none of the so called "Heels" Today, can compare to Vince, HHH, Jericho, or any of the NWO era original bad guys, and I'm talkin' Razor Ramon aka Scott Hall, Kevin Nash of the NWO, and Hulk Hogan one of the other true Icon Heels turned heel from babyface that nobody had on their radar. Dude ended up being one of the greats, MJF is on the Vince Mcmahon/HHH Tier now. He's got more confidence in himself to be able to be in that spotlight of carrying AEW as he claims in this promo. He's got the old school mentality of keeping the gimmick going 24/7, He can cut a promo just as good if not maybe even better than HHH. Even when HHH was coming into his own as a heel himself. He's a damn good wrestler too. What more do you want? MJF is a future hall of famer period, and if anyone can't see that then they need to stop watching wrestling.
If you are tracking the TV ratings, MJF's segments are about 50k-80k viewers more compared to other wrestlers once they hit the air. It then dips down dramatically once he's off air. Honestly, he should be getting the same big money contract that Punk has, if not more.

Man promo or not. The man's explication is truth. He literally made me watch him closely. The promo between him and cm punk was infamous. This guy is definitely owed his due. He should be the home grown heel of aew. Pay the man and give that man the title if at least and or only once. He reminds me of Chris jehrico in wcw. All that mic and wrestling ability. He is the hidden gem for your company I PROMISE

Went from MJF bailing and committing breach of contract to a work. Brilliant. Him and Tony sat down and worked some shit out, the promo was a work shoot. Truth mixed with storyline. He will be the one to defeat Punk for the title.

I’ll be honest, I used to watch wwe religiously, not so much now. I haven’t really seen MJF wrestling a whole lot but from what I’ve seen he is pretty good. I love how he has the “old skool heel” mentality. What you see inside the ring is the same as what you see outside the ring. Not a lot of wrestlers do that anymore, Atleast not in wwe because of the don’t be a bully, be a star program they have now. Which is pretty cool. But I can sense that he is very much frustrated with how he is being treated in AEW. I mean a dude he just feuded with(CM Punk) came out after it went off air i can only assume to try to calm him down but mjf hopped the barrier and leaving that way. Also he was taking jabs at ex wwe guys. Im pretty sure this is a legit shoot on how he genuinely feels
When he said "There isn't anything I can't do"...I think that was a shot at the Fans who say if he went to WWE he'd be unsuccessful because they wouldn't allow him to be the same MJF he is in AEW.
I mean, they kinda right tho... You think Vince will let him drop all those F bombs, Goddamns, etc, etc? Nah. Don't get me wrong, MJF would still kill it, but he's at his absolute best when he's allowed to be the savage he is on the mic without having to read off a script or censor it so wwe doesn't get a bunch of karens calling cause little tommy and sally heard a cuss word. Only wwe is actually scripted. And even that is relatively recent.
Any other promotion, an agent will go over the basic points of a promo, and trust the talent to tell the story their own way.

@@ladistar yeah she watches it with me lol. We were both big into wrestling as kids, Once she seen the difference in AEW she’s watched it with me every week. We’ve tried watching WWE but most of the time neither of us can really get into it. It just ends up being background noise. We have peacock so we watch all the PLE’s (lol) but I enjoy the AEW product so much more.
When he goes off on Tony Khan about being a fan or a mark who should be behind the guardrail with the rest of you I swear to God he must have just got off the phone with Jim cornette because that's exactly what he has said since day one
I never watch AEW at all. The only reason I even watch highlights on UA-cam is for MJF. The minute he leaves AEW they won't ever be this good again.

I don't know though TK buried Bischoff pretty bad during Double or Nothing Media Scrum to the point where Punk had to literally calm TK down. Honestly the look on Punk's face was priceless, like holy shit TK is poppin off a pipebomb on Bischoff.

How do wrestling fans even question if this is a shoot or not?!? This & Punk’s pipe on bare a total work done beautifully which is why some think it’s real. Neither of the above mentioned would have been allowed to say even half of what they did. The thing that makes MJF a higher draw than the others (despite popularity of other guys) is that he's polarizing. Thats not something you can learn, it's just how some people are naturally & it's entertainment gold when it's mastered & controlled to a high degree because it makes everything more believable/great storytelling.

He’s a combination of Piper Flair Miz Cena Rock. He’s taken aspects of all those guys and masterfully made it his own. He’s a real student of the game. My favorite remark was he doesn’t have to do a bunch of bullshit to make you feel.
