Woman sexually assaulted by homeless man in Long Beach chiropractic clinic

- Video captured the terrifying moment a man entered a Long Beach chiropractic clinic and sexually assaulted a female patient. The incident happened on March 18 at Clements Chiropractic on the 3700 block of East Anaheim Street.
The suspect, Ernesto Sanson, 57, was seen entering the clinic and approaching two workers at the front desk. Sanson is believed to be a homeless person, police said. “He was standing at the desk, fidgeting around, wiping his nose and then he asked to go to the restroom,” recalled Dr. Corey Clements, the clinic’s owner. As the man wanders down the clinic hallway, he spots a female patient lying down as she’s receiving treatment.
KTLA's Rick Chambers reports on March 22, 2024.

Attempted rape is a misdemeanor? That judge should be locked up in prison.
But any revenge would be a felony.....
Sounds like he was only charged with a misdemeanor. Calif is too soft on crime. He will be back doing this soon.
in cali yea
He probably is an "undocumented worker" so its against their liberal cult to punish them
Its California too many prisoners .
These judges are just as guilty as these offenders
I know, right? I hope she's lucky enough to get a judge that has good ol' fashioned morals and values. A misdemeanor for this type of crime is a new aged shame.

Bruh why would you let a homeless man use your restroom and leave him back there unattended? Receptionists should be fired
Bunch of red flags as soon as he walked in
The fear of being rude outweighs the fact of being right.
I don't think they said this in the video, but the guy had told them he wanted to make an appointment. They didn't know he was homeless, and thought he was a potential patient. They even had him filling out paperwork work when he asked to go to the bathroom.

If they let someone who isn't a patient use the restroom, then please escort the person to it and back out of the business.

"I dont want to go back to prison" STOP LETTING SEX OFFENDERS OUT!! When will these judges learn??
I wonder what the crime would've been charged as if it happened to a judge or prosecutor's family member? 🤔
Honestly the patient needs to sue for negligence. They let a homeless fidgety man into the back to use the restroom and allowed him access to patients in an unsupervised location. Paying for mental health services is great, but that's only the first step in helping someone who went through such experience. This incident will definitely change her as she begins to start understanding what happened and begin her grieving process.
No.
This is the problem. Blaming everyone else but the perps. You're crazy
No, the first step was him literally chasing the guy through traffic and the second step was having his employees hold the guy down until police came. She would have NEVER gotten ANY justice if not for him. The third step was paying for therapy- bc even if restitution was ordered, that POS Ernesto wouldn’t have ever paid.
Dr Clemons wasn’t even the one that let the vagrant in, but he should get sued after reacting perfectly?
@@nr7645 Nah. I'm far from crazy. He should have never been left back there with unsupervised patients. Do your community a favor and never run a business.

why did they let him walk around knowing hes a homeless lunatic. amazing awareness

Laziness and lack of common sense.
Unbelievable. 1 year? He should be serving well over 20 years for something that sick and twisted.

Well I'll take that back -- there's plenty of winners in CA, and they're all lawyers.
Fire the clerk she should have never let him go back or to use the restroom. Why would you allow a transient to use the restroom.

I don't think they reported it in the video, but he told them he wanted to make an appointment, and was even filling out paperwork when he asked to go to the bathroom. In their eyes he was a potential patient.
Why on earth would they let him use the bathroom in the first place?!!
I truly feel like they were being nice.
Because if you don't people get violent. I work at a laundromat. Restrooms are for costumers only. A guy was trying to use the restroom today. I said is for costumers only and he got angry. He said there is not a sign who says is costumers only. Then he told me he was going to pee outsie. I told him there is cameras all over the place. So he left. But he was cursing at me. Lately there is a lot of homeless people coming to the place to sleep or use the restrooms. It's becoming scary.

It sounds like the doctor is doing the right thing by the patient. He chased down the offender and brought him back and is paying for the victims therapy. What a sad situation.
I’m sorry if he has no business being there; why let him in the business
That's why they call it a business! You have to have business to be there! My oh my!
Cause he ain't white
Right! Cuz I guess if they don't let him in the business then he'll probably make up some excuse talking bad about the business to the public making that place look bad or something
He said he wanted to make an appointment. Homeless guy knows the deal, so he pretended to be a potential customer to use the restroom, and saw a target of opportunity.
stupidity is the receptionist waving a random homeless man into a bathroom... Clinic restrooms should be for patients and clients only

the office handled the outcome really well. but in all honesty, they should've never let a non-patient use the restroom. any stranger walking in off the street into a medical-type office where people go to get treatment is a place where they are likely vulnerable just like the victim was
Since when do chiropractors have Public Restrooms?!?! Moreover, front desk personnels action is very questionable. Letting vagrants in to use facilities like its a shelter !

I used to live in Portland Oregon from 2020-2023. When I used to get homless people under the influence come up to me at my job and ask me if they could use the restroom i always told them no. My coworkers would call me heartless but I don’t care. I would rather be heartless than have to deal with whatever nonsense they were planning on doing
Why did the receptionist let him in? Should have escorted at the bare minimum to the restroom if you're going to give him free access to the office. She should sue him and the office for not protecting her privacy and her safety since they are responsible for her safety while she's there.
I would wail on him if I seen that happening that’s so disgraceful.

A crime wasn't committed yet. If the receptionists would've tried anything I _guarantee_ you they'd have been sued -- by the transient's lawyer. One should not even have to worry that a perverted transient would enter a _chiropractor's office,_ for godsake. Everybody sounds like Trump here -- lawsuit, lawsuit, lawsuit. Ironic since it's that same justice system that is allowing these miscreants to walk.
@@briane173 is the homeless guy a patient? Do you not have unclothed patients in the back? This isn’t a Starbucks. You don’t have to provide your restroom to the public.
@@johnnywang206 Here's an idea: How 'bout asking the receptionists what was going through THEIR heads when this guy approached. What were THEY thinking? What were THEY contemplating? Was this their first rodeo? Were they weighing policy or the law of averages when they decided not to challenge this clown? I'd prefer to hear it from _them_ rather than Monday-morning quarterbacking. Everything looks clear in hindsight; we don't know what was in these folks' heads in the moment.
Secondly, this is a chiropractor's office, not a Naval base. These receptionists aren't gate sentries and they aren't trained for that; few people are. They're supposed to be welcoming and not "Halt! Who goes there!?" with a potential patient or anyone else who might walk in. If you think that should be the expectation then I suggest you hire yourself out to them as a security professional. Just like in engineering, you can mitigate literally _anything_ -- IF cost was no object. Since cost IS an object, you've gotta take at least a rudimentary risk assessment and gamble on random distribution. Until we hear from the two receptionists, I'm not gonna dump all of this on _their_ lap. The miscreant did what he did; how 'bout we hold HIM accountable first - unlike the judge who essentially let him walk?
Lawsuit coming!
