I prefer without neil, i don't like his aura/energy. These three, when they can keep their shit together and aren't battling, have a harmonic sound that is unsurpassable; celestial in a way, even tho they are bad boys....💙💙💙☺
My son played this song on the alter in honor of his father, my husband, after he saw his dad die in my arms in the middle of the night. My son was in 8th grade at the time. We talk and see each other a lot since he only lives 10 minutes away from me. Within the last 18 months, he told me he got his first tattoo. The tattoo is on the inside of his wrist and they are the musical notes to “take these broken wings and learn to fly !!” He is now 31 years old and a music manager and teacher in a private studio and was VERY close to his father. I am sooo proud of him for pulling through the wreckage of his past.

there is something so truthful, pure and peaceful about those three great men. It's so simple and yet so deep and beautiful. They are just some old friends who have been through some crazy times and just love singing together. It's like they're becoming one soul when they sing. Man, this is really moving. I will never lose my sadness over being born in the wrong generation.
I’ve just come across this version of this Beatles classic. I love how they have added their own twist while remaining true to the original. Great work guys!
Our generation is slowly, or maybe that is quickly, moving on. What a generation it has been and I would like to think it has left one hell of a mark for the books. RIP David Crosby may you be singing with the angles!
Back in '86, as a hotel concierge, I also acted as security. I was instructed to zero-in on any bums hanging around the hotel, and force them to move on. I noticed some fat guy milling about the gift shop. His jeans were falling off his butt, his hair was long and greasy, and his belly stuck out at the shirt's bottom. I was three feet away, and closing in, when I noticed he was conversing with some guy a few aisles away. I looked over to see who it was, and immediately recognized him as Graham Nash. I was about to toss out a multi-grammy-award-winning, multi-millionaire, named David Crosby. Don't judge a book...

My Dad passed away 2 weeks ago and I have had a blackbird come to my yard and sing to me every morning ever since that day.

John Lewis, this song's for you. RIP, "Blackbird fly...."
One of Paul McCartney's best songs!
It would have been if it weren't for the fact that it is a George Harrison song.

Yes,their harmony is just wonderful and will remain so forever!
I disagree. No computer-generated voicing could come close to the beauty and depth of CSN.

With one guitar and three voices they can create more magic than any of today's music makers with their fancy computers and music programs.

Steven Stills is underrated. What a singer and guitar player. Love him. Ah the music of my youth, and RIP David Crosby.
Saw him @The Grizzly Rose in Denver in the 90's. You're right he was fantastic

Just beautiful. Such superb harmonies. Crosby, Stills and Nash were incredible vocalists together- I’m sure Paul McCartney must love this version.
You don’t hear harmonies like that everyday! It’s a bloody shame the friendship didn’t last.
Only an acoustic guitar and 3 voices and thats what comes out. They are fantastic

We had David far longer than we deserved, we mere humans in the music world!
Lovely version. Stills was an exceptionally gifted guitarist, and still doesn’t get enough recognition for his virtuosity.
love Still’s rusty whine, and the harmony that Cros and Graham supplied…well their voices blended like wild honeys… just so fine.

Rip David crosby ..a very beautiful version just with an acoustic guitar and three voices ..great.
I have always loved the Beatles version of this song but the melding of voices by Crosby, Stills and Nash is incredible.
