Oh, this is one of my favourite houses! 🤩. I have Battito d'Ali, Dulcis in Fundo and Acqua Viva, which I mix with one of the vanilla parfum I have. Divine!
Those are all good ones! I definitely want to try more now and buy more bottles for my collection. They are SO good and last an eternity! What vanilla do you mix it with? I think Vanitas is the perfect layering vanilla 😋

@@GretaBeth I’ve found that while they aren’t huge projectors, they do leave quite a scent trail. Have you tried Ichnusa? It was my first and after hearing you and another youtuber praise Dambrosia, I will be getting it to layer with my Ichnusa which is more green fig leaf as opposed to the fig fruit in Dambrosia

Finally, finally a fragrance reviewer who is respectful to the Italian language!! I have tried to be kind and correct other reviewers on their pronunciation of Italian words and it fell on deaf ears. I wouldn’t mind, however, they go out of their way to say French words correctly however they bastardize Italian words. So Greta, not only are you a sexy , beautiful woman, you are also intelligent.

Wow. After watching your video this morning of the 11 best Vanilla scent. The one that I am most interested in is dulcis in fundo and did a wide search on the internet of where I can buy from (seeing as no one stock this brand in Oz) and come across premiere avenue and ended up ordering 5 of your recommendations plus soavissima (for my love of powdery iris). There are a few more that I want like sabbia bianca, dolce pensieri, aqua viva and orangea (but read your comment above about it leaning masculine). But these will probably have to wait till next year as I've out done myself with my perfume collections😅🤪😜😳
I like dulcis y fundo it smells like vanille bourbon from ile profumo . Vanitas give me the same vibes of charme fatale xerjoff. Did you try audace profumo roma very nice. I like this house.
Interesting, I don’t get bourbon in it. I’m as crazy about boozy vanillas. I have an extensive review on Fatale Charm. I find it extremely complex, with an undeniable anise note in there. There are son many from Profumum Roma, I haven’t tried them all. I don’t have access to all of them here 😞

Perfumes are oil and alcohol. More alcohol means more evaporation. Evaporation is what you smell, but it also means the fragrance evaporated away faster. So yes, higher oil means longer longevity.
I think you would like them both. Dulcis will last an eternity and sit close to you. You will smell Dulcis, yourself, all day. Lira will project more and feel more perfume like. Xerjoff Italica is another good one for you, you’d probably like even more than Lira.

Hi dear Greta I want to order a perfume but hesitate between aqua e zucchero and dolci in fundo .I lean towards aqua e zucchero but I still want the vanilla to be the central player and would love to get your opinion and advice. I really want it to be a vanilla. Is it still vanilla with berries instead of citrus? I just sprayed them side by side for you 😘 They are both vanillas. Dulcis in Fundo is a vanilla with a squirt of citrus to brighten it up. Acqua e zuccherro is a vanilla with some creamy berry hints. I don’t think you can go wrong either way, but I would take Dulcis in Fundis first. It’s the stronger vanilla to my nose. Dulcis is a gorgeous rich vanilla with a slight lemon. It’s my favorite vanilla fragrance. Lira is more like a lemon cake gourmand. I hope that helps😀
