Just received Ambra Aurea...OMG....I have been searching for an Amber fragrance for a few months. I love the Tauer ACDDM, but do not consider it a pure AMBER.... TF Amber Absolute, and Amber Absolutely are good but do not last. Ambra Aura is potent and smells absolutely divine. I highly recommend it. I have Ambre Loup and Tango, but this one is a pure golden AMBER. LOVE IT!!!!!
Love this house. I own Battito and acqua e zucchero. I find Battito d'ali has great projection. Just 2 sprays is enough. I still need to add acqua viva into my collection.
Quality house! My favorites are Confetto, a rich almond, musky comfort scent, and Battito D'Ali. Love the refreshing Acqua Viva in the summer; and Vanitas, when in the mood for ultrasweet. Ichnusa is a new love. I'm enjoying the different backgrounds, Sebastian!
Omg, just tested a sample of Rosae Mundi. It is gorgeous. I'm not a "rose" lover unless it has a bit of a dirty, spicy kick to it and this is perfect! Thank you for the review.
Omg...their Patchouly is soooo good. I’ve smelled several patchouli fragrances. I really like Nobile 1942’s Patchouli Nobile & Montale’s Patchouli Leaves. Though Profumum Roma’s Patchouly is my fav.

Recently blind bought Acqua Viva and love it! It came with samples of Patchouly, Neroli, and Acqua e Zucchero. Patchouly will be my next fragrance from this house, and more than likely Zucchero!
I find this moderate sillage of Profumum Roma it's unique feature (it's something special in how these perfumes project, maybe because of oiliness?). Those fragrances are very long lasting (10-12h), but thanks to moderate, subtle sillage it's not overwhelming. I love it. I adore Acqua di Sale. In my opinion it's suerb fragrance. Tried Acqua e Zucchero and I don't like it. It smells sweet, bubblegum, it's girly, like fragrance for teenagers. I had big hopes, but I don't enjoy it. Acqua Viva was very linear lemon. It reminds me cleaning supplies :/ Haven't tried Orangea nor Ichnusa.
Dear, I have got Aqua Nobilis and Arso. You definitely get value for money in terms of projection and longevity. I hope you try Ambra Aurea and Patchouly. Cheers
Amna Aziz I have been wondering the same. I enjoy all the videos but recently have started to question what drives the need for such a large collection of scented alcohol. Maybe it’s no different than collecting baseball cards, cars, stamps, art, etc... But somehow it seems a little bit off. Nonetheless i do enjoy the videos and have been guilty of buying too much
I’ve only tried Battito d’ali and it was amazing with beast performance on me. Great video, a lot of love for that limited red bottle, looks awesome 👍🏻
You can actually rub any fragrance. Perfume is already emulsified and the light friction of dabbing your wrists together won’t raise the surface temperature of your skin in any significant way-at least not enough to cause the top notes to evaporate. Sorry this perfume myth is a pet peeve of mine xD just that and pheromones
I don't mind rubbing it doesn't bother me at all yes I hate it when people their panties in a bunch just because you rubbed your fragrance. But Profumum Roma encourages rubbing! That was my point! :)
I’ve had Aqua Viva, hav a little left & I LOVE it. Citrus scents are my favorite. Although it’s pretty strong, it last & it’s well worth it. My Joe Malone Orange Blossom is running out so looking for other options that smells as good & longer lasting to replace it. Thanks for this video!
Most of their fragrances that I've sampled were too masculine, low silage or earthy for me. However I have fallen for sabbia bianca, vanitas, dolce acqua and a zucc (i have the full bottles& one 18ml). I'm thinking of buying a full bottle of meringa or orangea and this week I'm testing out both fiore d'ambra & ambra aurea. I like unisex or feminine fragrances that project well, beastmode. I'm hoping that profumum roma will bring on more gourmands & women's fragrances. Also yes the change up of backgrounds is nice

I LOVE ichnusa , wich by the way it means Sardinia .. The beautiful island in Italy where fig trees are growing happily and the scent celebrates that !!! I wear it everyday !

I'm a big fan of this house & still have so many i want to try , many of them in this video. The new & intresting backgrounds capture our eyes as your descriptions captures our ears 👌 I love ambra aurea /sorisso / fumidus &volo 686. Fumidus is my favourite boozy scent , a monstrous whiskey scent. Volo 686 is so odd , it smells like coconut & vanilla icecream in a petrol can 😂 the petrol notes goes after an hour or two.
Love Profumum Roma! I also wear Acqua di Sale when it is cold and find it amazing! Besides this one, my favourites are: Confetto, Rosae Mundi, Tagete, Tuberosa and Soavissima! Love all of them! Looking forward to Amante from Note Profumum, the oud from the house! Have you tried this one also?
I have recently sampled multiples from this house. I like Acqua Viva, but need to try it a few more times. Seems very linear but nice scent. I love Arso. But more of a fall or early winter scent to me. My favorite, so much, that I bought a 30ml decant is Olibanum. Citrus and resins. Smells like spring weather while standing in the doorway of an old cathedral church after resins, like myrrh, were burning. Amazing scent, cant stop smelling it. The two that I really, really disliked were Fumidus, and Ambra Aurea. The Ambra smells like vinegar, mixed with something pungent I cant place. Aquae Nobilis and Eccelso are very nice as well, but lean more feminine to me. Definitely high quality ingredients and long lasting scents. Thanks for the review Sebastian!
Only got into this house recently, Ambra Aurea (smokey amber) really projects. I'm also liking Acqua Di Sale, interesting scent, seems to change with the weather. You're really knocking out the content lately, well done!.
Hey Sebastian, just got my two first Profummum fragrances. I got Aqua di Sale and Ichnusa. I love how potent they are. I just spray one spritz on my neck and rub it in. They are not crowd pleasers and compliment garners but people definitely notice you and must wonder what they smell as these are really original. I'm sure Acqua Viva will my daily scent for summer and for fall and winter I'm going to buy Arso.
how often to you apply fragrances each day? it's amazing that, even with such a large collection, you can make a big dent and even finish bottles! do you bring the bottles out and about with you?
My guess is that he sells decants and samples. And the webshop he has in the description is his too. Impossible to make a dent with such a large collection.
Sadly I’ve only tried 3 out of the list and also their Ambre offering, but I have to go with the Acqua Viva. It’s hard to beat that lively bright citrus.

The only one I don't know is Orangea . You are completely correct, Aqua Viva is fantastic in the heat. Been sampling Atelier's Bergamote Soleil today. I am most likely doing to get the travel sprayer of it. I have Annick's eau d'hadrien 100 ml , but I sill want Atelier's , plus the 18 ml of Aqua viva. BTW, thank you so much for the review a few years back of Annick's line, along with Diptyque's . Nobody was really covering their line's that much. I'm insane about Philosykos . I will re-sample Ichnusa Acqua di Sale does get a bit strange on me in the heat . South Bay , I believe you covered that one sometime ago too, not sure, is my go to there. That grapefruit opening. Love Profumum's Patchouli . I have Amber Aurea too. Those two are in the bottle. The others from this house are just in the 18ml. Great review Sebastian .
Absolutely LOVE the house of Profumum :) About 4-5 years ago their Patchouli smelled different than it does now, and although it still smells wonderful now, it was intoxicating back then!! :) It looks like the Rosae has been used a lot there... I will have to try that :)

Mr Jara - did you know that Basenotes only has one fragrance in its directory that has fig tree leaf as a note? That fragrance is Davidoff Good Life. I think it came out around the time that Gucci Envy came out (late 1990's) because I bought both around the same time.
@@ThePerfumeGuy Now that makes sense! I wasn't a huge fan but liked it in hot weather. I also bought Ralph Lauren's Safari in that 1990's spree. (the gift set of edt and aftershave). For some reason, I stopped buying for close to 15 years before getting into it again. I think the scarcity of gift sets with aftershaves and lack of add-ons like beach blankets, watches, comfrey sets and gym bags at retail contributed to my leaving the game for awhile. At one time, I had a duffel bag from every major designer. My Paul Sebastian watch broke a long time ago.

Can you please give me 3 suggestions? I know they have a big selection and I don’t want to get overwhelmed. I’ve grown up in the eastern Mediterranean so I guess I have the same olfactory memories as you.
Very moderate all around. Again softer in projection and sillage but pretty moderate for about an hour upon spray and for about an hour or so. Then longevity is above average.

I think the scarcity of gift sets with aftershaves and lack of add-ons like beach blankets, watches, comfrey sets and gym bags at retail contributed to my leaving the game for awhile. At one time, I had a duffel bag from every major designer. My Paul Sebastian watch broke a long time ago.

Lately it's been ORANGEA!
How is the performance of orangea?
Very moderate all around. Again softer in projection and sillage but pretty moderate for about an hour upon spray and for about an hour or so. Then longevity is above average.
