I like how at the end, Dire elaborates on his water/fruit juice switching mechanism and as he says, "How's that sound?" he turns around and Players's hat mad it look like he had his jaw drop in amazement! LOL
I love it how Dire and Soaryn are always house buddies XD its like Soaryn is his little brother or something along those lines.
Favorite part of this episode is how soaryn would come into frame with a new hat ever 2-5 times he would appear. XD
Dire , a forestry tree farms with apple oak sapling is the perfect.Saplings into biomass, woods into fuel, apples into fruit juice, water to supply two machine, sand into fertilizer .I must take out papers and draw the whole setup using AE automation.
The turtle upon receiving a redstone signal will dig down and place down the sapling then go back up. Then the turtle will put the wood and apples in an ender chest leading into the ME system, whereas the sapling will remain in its inventory. On the ground, a wooden golem will pick up all the drop and put it into the turtles inventory (by using ender chest or other ways). You can also speed this up by using turtles to apply bonemeal on the sapling.
Personally, these fuel infrastructure episodes are one of the most interesting videos that Dire puts out :)

No idea why, but I lost it when Dire broke the barrel and Soaryn just said WOW with the explosion of saplings everywhere...thank the minecraft gods for item accumulation or lagtastic...

Dire, I have two ideas for your “apple tree” farm. The first one is to have a turtle 10 blocks (or more) above the sapling. Then have a repeater that is on, going into the sapling. On the other end of the sapling, have a wireless redstone (or normal redstone). The redstone at the other end won’t activate because sapling is a transparent block, however, when the tree grow, it will send a redstone signal through the wood block and activate the wireless redstone which lead up to the turtle.
I feel that the chunkloader issue for the mining system could be solved using one turtle. You have it positioned similar to the tesseract(engineering) turtle, but on the other side of the mining turtles. Have a chunk loader one block in front and behind it. It breaks the loader in front of it, moves forward, places it, moves back, break the loader behind it, moves forward, places the loader behind it. Have it do this every time the mining turtles do their cycle.
Please vote this up, dire needs to know! If you use refineries to convert biomass to ethanol it is more than twice as efficient as the still, I tested it out the other day

When you click on something you want the recipe for when you are currently in the GUI of a Crafting Bench or a Minium Stone, there should be a question mark there. Shift click it, and it places the items inside your crafting grid, providing you have them in your inventory.

One turtle method of chunk loading: Put in two chunk loaders, turtle places in front, moves up and over once the other turtles have moved twice, puts a chunk loader in front and breaks the one in back, and then repeat from moving up and over.
1 max size tree farm will provide enough saplings to power 3 liquid boilers (max size high pressure) and enough planks to support 1 max size high pressure boiler (but it won't give enough fuel to heat up the initial temp).

You have to shift click with all required materials for it to fill the recipe for you. If you don't have all the materials needed, nothing will happen. And the author of EE3 purposely excludes NEI's question mark function, but their is an addon mod that gives that support to the minium stone.
Well, considering he makes his living entertaining people on the internet, avoiding boring is probably a good idea for him.

If you want to import and export from the same machine, you should be able to use a single storage bus connection (unless the machine requires using two different sides). That'd make things prettier.
IMO the redstone blocks are better than the torch/levers, because 1:redstone is rarely an issue when you have a quarry/automining system set up, and 2: it's much more pretty :3

the no questionmark thingy on the minium stone is a bug that hasnt been fixed for the public release as far as i know (korrect me if i'm wrong) and the crafrting thingy works on vanilla crafting tables .. you shift+right-klick the question mark and NEI will put in as many copies of the recipe as it can if you have the stuff for it in your inventory ^^

Hey Dire, with Liquid Transposers you could put liquids into cans or cells and use the AE system to move them around. I think that would work with almost any liquid.

dire in his single player series right now had a guest with him while he was building his mining machine so sorayn could do it with him as a guest for the entire series
instead of using the Chest with an import bus to it to bring items into the system, try using an ME Interface, as long as the left side of the GUI is empty, any items that are pumped into the block (using either tubes or pipes) will automatically be added to the AE System...
Dire, there is a chunkloader turtle. Use that in your build, it is so much simpler!

What he really needs is to work towards breeding his trees, or snagging one from someone else. At worst have 1 tree farm for the improved fruit, and 1 for better saplings.
when Dire's pack updates is when the entire ftb launcher updates and that is when minecraft updates to their new launcher and 1.6
He shift-clicks the question mark, and the minium stone is probably just a thing that the newer versions have, because FC runs the newest versions of all the mods.
Dires ssp and smp videos are better tutorials then the most tutorials
the minium stone no ? shift clicking thing is just because the way its coded doesnt allow it, it was said in one of the forgecraft 2 videos i think and pahimar said he will change it
Dire, you really should do a separate series all about doing cool things with computercraft, for the people who actually like seeing the coding part of your builds. Like show off how your creations work just in a separate video so the people who don't like it don't ave to watch.

Why don't you use a chunkloader turtle? Also you could control the water and the fruit juice with gates. If you put a gate on the squeezer and check when it is empty of fluid you send a signal to move some water to it.
Dire, if Misc Peripherals is on that server you could make a chunkloader module and apply it to the mining turtles.
That would be a function that is still only on the ForgeCraft server; I think Dire was requesting it from the author of EE3 (I think it's Pahimar) a few episodes back.
LAN= Local Area Network. Soaryn would have to be in the same building as Dire to be able to play with him.
Every turtle has a tool and a module already, with the pickaxes and wireless modems, so theres no space on the turtles for a chunk loader.
Ctrl+Shift+Click is InvTweaks, NEI adds 64 of the stack that you were hovering over when you press Ctrl+Shift+Click
Unfortunately, world anchors require ender pearls, if you are thinking of the one that I am. Also, spot loaders are probably better for lag reasons.
Dire, you should make it so when the system is low on resources, it will send a signal to the mining machine via computer craft and wireless redstone. Like so he can see!

Dire, instead of logs in the steam engine powering your tree farm, use the charcoal that you are auto producing.

I would say 2 liquid fueled boilers and one solid. Turn the Wood into Charcoal in a Coke Oven and pump the liquid out of the oven into a boiler!

Dire, you should've upgraded your export bus that was attached to your hobbyist steam engine, and told it to craft charcoal instead of just using logs, would've been a little bit more efficient :)

Or use wooden scaffolds unless they changed it because one scaffold was 750 when it took about 6 wood to make one and youd get 16 or 12 when you craft them.
imagine Applied Energistics with a liquid API or a wire that functions like a tesseract but keeps your system info and allows wireless access between bases and such
There is a wireless access terminal but it hasa max range of only20 blocks maybe from a max range transmitter (but you can just place transmitters all over your base)

You are close, or atleast i missred what you said, all the mods are either in the ftb pack, or are not released yet, but rather soon to be in the ftb, and the server uses development mods, however all the mods in the ftb pack are not in forgecraft.
You have to remember these are beta mods there using that are not released to the public so some features you see you will not be available yet.

Dire has been playing with more than tinker's construct, if you know what I mean.
He could do that, since he started hosting his SSP world on a host since it was too intensive, even on his PC.
Just use 2 turtles each with a chunk loader. They each take turns removing and placing the chunk loaders.
Dire put a presureplate that are emitting a redstonesignal when you stand on it instead of a lever and plase the presureplate infront of the terminal that will do the same thing as a lever but better thats wahat i did:)

The Minium stone does not work with it currently, and you have to shift-click the question mark with all the items you need for the recipe.

You can do it yourself, it's common knowledge by this point, and it takes ages to get through to the end.
