Its part of the Feed the Beast mod pack, he actually has his own pack in the launcher. You can get Feed the Beast by searching(Google, Bing, ect...) it and downloading the client launcher from the FTB website. Dire remember that the goggles only display the levels for the nearest node, which you may be out of range of in terms of recharging etc. Also, I believe Azanor said that Aura Nodes are vulnerable to chunk errors/corruption, hence why he's looking at changing them. Either may be the issue here.
Generally the aspects that go with it sort of make sense like the iron -> gold transmutation. It has metal, exchange and valuable (metallum, permutatio, and carus I think) So you can sort of see how it all links to transmutation

It's not a mod pack. It's a beta testing server for bug testing. Most, or if not all, the people playing on the server are mod designers that made the mods they're using.. Probably the closest mod pack to the ForgeCraft mods would be the Direwolf20 pack from the Feed The Beast launcher. Hope this helps!
Dire super advanced underwater mining technique. When you are about to run out of air. stand next to a wall and place a torch. the torch with displace the water for a second allowing you to refill your air bar without needing to surface.
true it doesn't need power but it does require lava then. using the Igneous extruder to make smooth stone or obsidian uses up the lava stored inside while making cobble uses no resources. If he feels that using power is more cost effective at this time than using lava it is up to him.
minimal flux isn't of any effect, flux is exactly what it sounds like, just fluxes in the normal runnings of aura. too much is bad, even horrible (burning your wooden house down when you have a pet cat and dog horrible) and it's something you want to avoid, but a little bit is harmless and will go away very soon after appearing (most likely, anyway.)

for a water source for the cauldron, I use an aquious accumularot pumping into a buildcraft tank. It looks neater than a traditional water source and Golems can still interact with it
These mod versions are probably going to be included into the Direwolf20 modpack at some point it's constantly being updated during the series, them always being a few steps ahead of us
Dire, theres an add-on for thaumcraft called thaumic tinkerer, It adds warded chests, golem name tags, smoky quartz blocks, gaseous glowstone, which lights up an area without ANYTHING, as well as the opposite, Telebre, and other awesome stuff. please add it if possible.
Not a mod pack. Its a test server that the FTB/Forge crew uses to test new mods and mod updates . This is 1.5.2 version of MC and all the modders are constantly testing/updating their mods to get them ready to release. Mods on this server are some of the mods that are in some of the mod packs, but this is not a mod pack nor will all of these mods necessarily be in any particular mod pack. But also note, these are unreleased versions so some stuff in the vids may not be implemented yet.

dire should use xycraft's Fire Basin and red power's Igniter for the cauldron so the fire is only burning when you're using the cauldron, the sound can get annoying when researching for a long time, one button push on and one to turn off, ez peezy lemon squeezy
Dire used FC2 as a intermisson type thing between his Forgecraft 1 series. He likes FC1 better because it soen't have almost any map resets and it is more stable.
Yeah, thank you for telling me the name. I read that it is not being included because redpower cannot update or something and ftb is stuck in 1.4.7 and the tinkers construct mod producer does not have a file for that version of minecraft.
Not really if you think about the crafting. On my server, I just had it where we spawned in the attachments to it, otherwise it would have taken like a month.
They are testing GregTech for Forgecraft on KatCraft btw :3 Greg didnt really show much emotion though cause the Server we play on is fine for his cheaty haxor ways.
If you want GregTech, you can either add it yourself or use the standard FTB modpack. GregTech has some hard-ass recipes, so only hardcore nuts like it. Not here to judge.
hey dire you should make a quick build turning the wood into charcoal to use as power. It wouldn't take too long with a powered furnace from te powered by a steam engine.
Dire, may you suggest to Mydio (pretty sure i spelled that wrong but meh) the redwood trees dont burn down? my house is in a redwood tree and im making a thaumcraft room. i had to convert the entire room and then some to firewood so the tree doesnt burn down. it also causes MAJOR lag when they burn down
Hey dude, if you dont like hard gregtech recepies been the only solution to create simple things such as a compresor, a macerator, etc, you can go to gregtech config options in the ultimate feed the beast pack and change the config so both the gregtech and the i2c recepies are abailable.

Either direwolf's volume is too high or the teamspeak volume is too low, but it's impossibly to simultaneously listen to dire and others on teamspeak comfortably.

I am not sure if I missed this earlier, but I was wondering what those things are that seem to be lighting up the area around DW's house. They are the things that look like pads. I was hoping that he would mention what they are at some point, but he didn't.
there is a glitch in thaumcraft where the node in the starting area wont recharge ive tested it and found its true im pretty sure itll be fixed but you may want to move from the starting area in new worlds you make so you can use thaumcraft
There isn't a response to this question that is exclusively right, for example you could respond "I wouldn't know" or "I don't know" or "Its that guy that lives next door". However, you could get the question wrong by saying "Its the old oak tree from the garden" but why would you say that?

Lack of aura node : An aura can only transmit over a distance of 1/4 of its strength, eg 200 vis means it can transmit it's vis over 50 blocks.

Dire to get a cheap source of Carus (the callis that you used to get basic transmutation) use smooth sandstone or chiseled stone bricks.
He makes unlimited COBBLEstone from the igneous extruder, then he smelts the cobble and outputs to the chest. Hope that cleared things up :)
You could put an aqueous accumulator besides the cauldron and let it fill up automatically with waterproof pipes.

its a new setup for his equipment and he records in batches give it a few episodes and im sure it will be fixed.
because he needs more advanced and expensive gates to use the blue. He has the resources to make gold, but he doesn't need it and iron is cheaper.

I think the building you are referring to is a base type thing of Soaryn. Im not sure if they are sharing or is is Soaryn's own base.
