Vein Ripper in an Ezio commander deck is scary if you get it in your opening hand. That happened to me this past commander night and I was knocking everyone down in health super fast and bringing out lots of other assassins from Ezio’s forerunner ability.
You would have to untap the land you played with Undergrowth Recon. This way you could use fetch lands every turn. Moreover you get at least two landfall triggers each turn provided that you hit your land drops. If you can untap the fetch you get 3 consistently. The entering tapped is a major downside though. But there is Amulet of Vigor and Spelunking.
One huge upside of the mole is that it's good without an indestructible enabler for the 8/4 for 4 line, and the free second attack (even letting it trade with a 1/1 deathtoucher gives the rest of your team a second swing that turn). However having a Tyvar's stand in such a deck is not a bad thing anyway. If you get to the 8 mana activation + Tyvar's combo... so be it, but the pieces are good on their own.
Oh boy. Cant wait to put the mole god into my red green deck. I got agatha in it that lessens ability costs, and could basically bring that down to costing 4 instead of 7. Oof!
Half of these are gonna be so much cheaper in like a month I think. I think theyre all really cool but some of em are just way too niche to keep these prices
There is a major reason why the video intro goes something like "So let's take a look at the top 10 most expensive cards to see which cards people are talking about" It's a metric of excitement and intrigue, not necessarily a video saying "These will be the prices," and is why a major part of the video is talking about the cards and less of their prices.
@@MTGRecon then maybe I’m just taking too much from the title of the video being the top 10 most expensive cards instead of being the top 10 cards people are interested in? Which is fair, I just tend to assign intent for the mission statement of the video from the title.
@@sylverfyst It's mostly that the content of the video is talking about the top 10 most expensive cards, but the conversations about that content is the more interesting thing to me, which is playability and what the card does. Also Top 10 Cards People Are Interested In would lead to people being "What numbers did you use to quantify this" and then it would just turn back into this style of video.
@@MTGRecon just wanted to add - I love the video btw and didn't mean to hate with my comment. More so convince myself I will be able to buy my boy Mr. Croc without reaching too deep into my pocket for money ❤️😭
Undergrowth recon is coming at the right turn with the tortoise and spelunking for the discover ability. Nice pick.
Nice top ten and I appreciate the speed of which you used to get through it.😊
I think Anzrag would be fun to play in my Raggadragga Commander Deck. Can easily fo infinite in this deck.

Undergrowth Recon works amazing with those New Capenna Fetch lands and the Channel lands

Layline is 4 devotion to green and full suburst on turn 1.
Yeah 4 devotion is nuts

Love your channel as I am new to the magic G . Subscribed
Rakdos, Patron of Chaos would go well in my Be'Lakor demon Tribal deck!
Great vid. Thank you.

On release even, these kind of lists don’t mean anything with presale prices

hope i'll get mole god or vein ripper during AP
Besides Delney, I don't see the others seeing much play in CEDH. All pretty weak
That 2 drop Thrull
Pulled an Undergrowth Recon Foil. $$$???
Trouble in Pairs? I think that's going for $25.
This is just main set cards. You can only get Trouble in Pairs in the commander decks and occasionally in collector boosters in extended art.
The pre release exclusive are going to be annoying to get
Pretty wrak tbh !
