someone just did this to me on Spelltable using Mishra, and every turn, he made a copy of it, hit me with it, and sacrificed it to take my turn tap all my lands and do it over and over.
Always cool to see cards that haven’t EVER been reprinted and are years old

Meh kills rarity and standard at the same time. I was thinking of buying a pack or 2, but even with standard legal stuff, oko power creeps again amongst other stuff. I'll check pokemon again given cards went on sale, and it's accessible with physical rulebooks and sleeves in certain products.

@MrVariant Good, rarity is a useless subjective concept. I wouldn't never deny people access to cardboard because I like how shiny it looks and want to keep them for me.

Slivers you control are Mercenaries in addition to their other types and have "T: Target creature you control gets +1/+0 until end of turn. Activate only as a sorcery."
All slivers get a gun tap to deal 1 damage to any target

@@jesu1674 put cowboy hats on Thorncaster Sliver and Toxin Sliver - all slivers oneshot a target each on attack leaving no blockers left to stop damage to face. For extra spice add Virulent Sliver so all that face damage is dealt in poison counters. 😀 Love me some Slivers.
For me, It was Terror of the Peaks. One of if not my favorite dragon ever printed.

I'm surprised that wasn't on the list, I thought it was $40-50. I guess it wasn't part of the special guests tho.

I’ve a story where for a Lost Caverns of Ixalan house draft, 2 people passed a Cavern of Souls. Their arguments were they didn’t wanna lock a land as their first card of the draft.
A recent secret lair is now standard legal. That Dalek Doctor Who Fast Lands. I’m glad I picked that one up.

Wow, shocked at how the reprinting of Stoneforge Mystic has killed the price of the DM showcase version. It was up around 50+ bucks for quite a while.
I never thought they would reprint Oko after all the damage that card has done to formats
I never understood why his 2nd ability was a +1. Especially with it not being "until your next upkeep" or something
why not? it's already banned in all the hyper-relevant ones.

I like it with the spacer and double sleeved. Gorgeous product but feels incomplete without the gamegenic spacer :)

I like how the professor even being sponsored by keeps tells us at the end here that even without the hair we are wonderful beautiful people That's not something that we are told enough all too often flipping through TV or streaming whatever every commercial is designed to sow fear into us that we are inadequate unless we buy this that we are unappealing that we will miss out unless we buy that product everything is about fear-mongering so that little comment at the end from the professor which may have gone over everyone else's heads means volumes to me so thank you professor on behalf of all of us who notice and appreciate those micro sentiments because for a lot of people that might be the only time they hear those words That's a gross exaggeration of course but the sentiment remains that it is appreciated and yes I know what a period is however I use the speak to text feature and find it more convenient to do a sloppy grammatically sinful monologue of a comment apologies and appreciation

I really, really like the full-art lands for Thunder Junction. I think they're the best since Theros: Beyond Death.
scapeshift reprint is by far my fave reprint in the set!
I was able to get thoughtseize for only 8 bucks per, thanks to this new set coming out. Never thought I would actually see the day I could get two for the price of what one used to be!

I really love Oozes, and It Came From Planet Glurg was Acorned, which was a bummer

I love me some old west stuff and was excited about this set but my excitement dwindled when I saw it was really anime steampunk scifi with old west as a distant afterthought. I knew it couldn't be strait up old west for obvious reasons but I thought it would be as true to theme as LOR, Warhammer, Fallout, etc. I'm taking a knee on this set...

WotC are getting better at reprints but they still need to do better and do them even more aggressively.
A lot of these reprints are really great. (Art looks amazing on lots of these too)

I bought an Outlaws of thunder junction bundle box and I pulled mindbreak trap AND goldvein hydra from a single pack. I couldn't believe it.
A bit of a cheap answer, but I'm really looking forward to the Quick Draw precon, as a relatively new Commander player - it's been described to me as Izzet Spellslinger 101 and appears to have a LOT of good staples in a box with some solid value!
I'm going with it too. It's got some nice tech for an up and coming spellslinger. I hope you enjoy it!

Mindbreak Trap is awesome to see. Great in general to have so much interaction reprinted, and included in the new precons. Maybe now commander players will finally start running more removal 😂😂

I would find a follow-up video a week or so before the next set comes out interesting. It would be very enlightening how reprints are affecting the market.

This set really feels like a course correction after mkm. Much more appeal in this set and overall prices while still high seem to be falling as this set will most likely get another reorder and print run.
I havent looked into the set list yet so i can be suprised
Both prismatic vista and fabled passage should get reprinted more often. They are the next best fetchland after "the" fetchland cycle and need to be more accesable. Fabled passage in particular should be in precons, especially considering how most of them tend to have a lot of basics.
I'm looking to finally pick up a copy of Terror of the Peaks
It's cool that these reprints happen, but they are in the rare slot with multiple sheets and variations. Probably also less copies of these high value reprint cards per sheets to manipulate the odds.

Happy to see Journey to Nowhere reprinted. For about 2,50€ here in EU the playset was one of the most expensive in Pauper. Well aside from Snuff Out and all the nonsense in Cycle Strom. Wizards please make Pauper Masters!

Reprints are always great, I wish the artwork and frames were too. The special frames don't speak to me, they remind me of the Amonkhet one's, and those were controversial. But I am happy for everyone who opens one of these valuable cards

I hope some of the reprints help decrease the cost of prior printings, because I really don't like the faux newspaper card style. I didn't want grayscale Magic cards from Double Feature and I don't want them now.

I didn’t even know mindbreak trap was worth anything. I pulled a foil one out of my first ever pack. That was back before I knew what sleeves were. I have been using it as a bookmark for years. It is heavily worn on the edges from all the play lol.

Captain N'Ghathrod is excited about the Grindstone and Archive Trap reprints and thinks Overwhelming Forces and maaaaaybe Mana Drain, if the randomizer gods could smile upon him, may have a place in his deck.
