Hi Kraken, thanks for the video, and your whole series of tnt 135 vids, extremely helpful! I just got a 2023 tnt 135 and put 250 miles on it. When I went to ride today, the speedometer shows 0 mps when riding and not registering any miles. I checked the cluster and the cable was plugged in nice and tight. Any ideas what I can do? I disconnected battery, tried changing wheel size to calibrate...nothing. was working fine yesterday all the way until I switch the bike off. Could it be a faulty wheel sensor?
If your bike is new, take it back totally he dealer for warranty work. If out of warranty, yes the wheel sensor is blocked or quit and should be an easy fix. Otherwise the gauge cluster has gone bad and is a plug and play to put a new one on. Good luck and congrats on the new TnT!
@Kraken's Garage & Adventures thank you - my dealer is great but is about 45 min drive away, I figured I'll do it myself. Ordered a generic $10 one from Amazon to try and make sure that it is indeed the sensor (I'll turn it manually to see if it registers )before ordering the benelli sensor. If it doesn't register I'll know it's the cluster. Everything else on the cluster works.
Awesome and very informative video👍👍👍 by any chance have you done any videos on resetting check engine light, and also how to adjust the carb/throttle body? If you can please do videos on these subjects I would greatly appreciate you for it.
I haven't forgot your question on resetting the check engine light. I'll put out a video this week on it. The short answer is turn the bike on but do not start>turn off and wait 5 secs>then turn off and on quickly 5 times leaving it in the off position>wait 5 seconds and turn on, it should be reset.
I would repeat the process. It's not going to hurt anything to reprogram it. The tricky part is hitting the two buttons at the same time to exit the programing.
Thank you for this. I tried in my Tnt135, the speed is now OK but the RPM was messed up and lost calibration. It's now showing very high readings, at the red line always.
hi! enjoy your channel, i assume this also goes for tnt 135? i would say yes,, also when your on #9 to press both buttons to save,,, does it go back to something else? or does it keep showing the cc_ _ _?
Good questions. Yes it's the same for the 125 and 135. When you press both buttons to finish programming it will return to the normal screen. I didn't time it right in the video and didn't want to re-video the whole thing again. Thanks for watching.
Does the rev limiter use info from the gauge RMP, or some direct feed to the ECU? It is concerning so many people have had RMP issues from this procedure.
Yes, several folks have stated it jacked up the rpm range because they didn't do the programming correctly. The real problem is hitting the two button simultaneously. You can always reprogram it back the the OEM perimeters. If you're not comfortable doing this program, don't.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures thank you, but if remember you telling me you had a 2020. And I wasn’t sure if the same problem is on the 2021 model as well. Thanks for responding so fast
Very useful, I'm considering getting a Grom and watching your videos about the Benelli is helping me choose if I can get more bang for my buck. Where did you find the programing information for the speedo? Are there other codes to use if I change to taller size (like a knobby)?. Thanks
I joined on FaceBook the Benelli Tnt 135 group where we all share info on it. Someone posted about this so I dug in to find out how and post a video. yes, you can change those numeric values to adapt to tire sizes but it will have to a a trial and error method as no one has the specifics. Just change the values little by little and you'll get her dialed in.

Hey, I have a 22 TNT 135 when doing the initial both button hold to get the cc then you put in 123 and hit the top button mine does not go into the second screen it goes back to the normal screen, any ideas why?
I've done it to a tnt125 with KM/H and using the value of 12.0 it's spot on compared to Google Maps GPS. No need to change it to a different value for me.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures thanks, we'll see what top speed I could reach now. Before the dial it was 112 (real 102-3)km/h, but with very strong wind. Probably I could reach 110 real speed in adequate conditions.

I'm not sure I understand your question? Is your bike in MPH now or KPH? The top button on the left, Short press the button to switch between km/h and mph. Long press the button to reset the "Trip" mileage.
OK .. I'll be doing this method soon. Just want to verify that: 1.) Still use value of F012.0 ? and 2.) To achieve that, I should set to F012.9, and it will jump to F012.0 upon completion ? Thanks
When I hit both buttons it jumped on me in the video so I had to redo it. End result should be F012.0 with a jump. Good luck Jeff and hit me up if you have more questions.
Apparently these clocks in EU can change from KMH to MPH , with one button . Mine does not , perhaps the clocks are installed wrong ? Does the code allow to switch from KMH to MPH?
Joe, you should be able to change kph to mph by using the two buttons. So the short answer is the code does not change it. If you need help hit me up at krakensgarage@gmail.com good luck sir. Eric
I kindly asked if anyone knew the default values before odometer calibration, but apparently no one could answer me, I ask the question here in the comments hoping to get the answer I was looking for ..
I don't have an answer to why this happened. The good news is you can just redo it or program it back to the way it was. My best guess is when you hit both buttons to exit, it has to be perfect or one of the numbers will jump to another.
There's a float on a rod that measures the has in the tank. Remove the tank and pull the fuel float and check for operation. It may just be gummed up a little.
This works on all tnt bikes & you need to set it to CC123 not 125 lol which will then take you to the F010.3 screen which you alter to calibrate the speedo

I just got a 2021 TNT135 and I just tested the speedometer accuracy and I was just showing that I was going 3mph SLOWER than what my speedometer read on my bike. How come the speed difference was a lot more on your bike than mine? I forgot to test at 60 though. Does that matter? Do I need to test again at 60mph?
Well.... I didn't have a GPS available so instead I downloaded a speedometer app on my phone and I referred back to my phone once my bike reached 30mph. The speedometer read 27mph. I'm about to test it again to confirm that the reset fixed the 3mph difference. As for checking while going 60mph, today is technically only my 6th day riding a motorcycle of any kind and I honestly haven't gotten to the point where I'm comfortable going 60 yet. So....what great words of wisdom do you have for me? Lol 😉

@@ramangeorge6229 in this video I did not hit the two buttons at the exact same time. I didn't want to resort that part of the video. I believe it should return to the normal display. Good luck!
Is like to believe that the LCD display has a gear indicator but the factory just didn't bother to plug the right wires for it, I mean there's that square pattern on that lcd display where the gears supposed to be.
Hello, the values of 123 and 0.12.0 to which they correspond, do you need to know something related to the diameter of the wheel? I have a tnt 15, would I change the values or use them? and also if the value influences marking km and not miles my dashboard
Hiya Gustavo, the short answer on your questions is yes, the 15 inch wheel will effect the values and you will have a large speedo error. Unfortunately I do not know the value increments you will need to change. My advice is to hook up a GPS or use your smartphone with an app that tracks your actual speed and change the 123 to say 125, make a run and note the change in speed to compare what it's showing now. If it's adding in the wrong direction, change again to say from 123 to 120 and check your speed. It will be a trial and error situation to get it dialed in. Good luck and happy holidays.
This has happened to a few doing this programming. Just redo it again and pay close attention to when you hit both buttons at the same time to close out the programming. They're super sensitive and prone to jumping to the next digit. Thus screwing up the numeric values. 100% folks have had success once getting past this part
What’s the point of the factory setting being that far off? I did this on my Benelli and now my top speed is 55 lol I’m kinda mad about it…may change it back just to make myself think I’m going 65
Toni, you have good point! lol You can always change it back if you like. I think the overstating the speed comes from a court ruling long ago when police started using radar and folks started suing the car manufacturers for speedos that were showing lower than real speeds. So mfgrs started over shooting them.
So .. I did this mod and my speedo was just about dead on. That was great! Now .. I recently installed some Dunlop D604 tires, which are a bit taller than the OEM Cordial tires. Now, my speedo is about 3-5mph pessimistic. At GPS 25 mph, my speedo reads 22 mph. At GPS 60 mph, my speedo reads 56 mph. Better this way than when OEM, but any ideas what setting to try to bring the speedo up? Back to OEM setting would get it a bit closer. Can't remember OEM settings. Ideas? Thx
Jeff, I'm afraid this is going to be hit or miss. So go through the same process bit use a smaller or larger numeric value. Check against a GPS. If it swings too far adjust your value up or down accordingly. I'm sorry to say I don't have any other advice sir. Eric
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures No worries.. I can't remember my stock values :( . What would be the values in between the OEM and the correction values? That would be a good starting point. Thank you much
Thanks for the help! When I did this on my wife’s benelli it fixed the speed issue but it messed up the tachometer. The needle now moves much slower and redlines at an indicated 5k rpm’s. Anyone else experience this?
A couple of folks have reported this. Just go back and repeat the process. The trick where most folks error is hitting the two buttons to exit the program. If you don't time it perfectly. It changes one of the values, which in this case is affecting your tach.
Zamri, I'm not familiar with that particular model. Check the wiring and see if it's connected properly. If it is than most likely it's a bad gauge. I would order a new one. Good luck.
I'm sorry to say i do not. To my knowledge, this hack should only adjust your speed ratios. My best advice is try entering it back again or change it back to the original numeric value and check the rpms again. Good luck. Eric

When you enter in the numeric values, just go at small increments and check with nav for accuracy. If it's going the wrong direction, go down in small increments. A giant pain to do but it can be done. You can always set it back to the original settings if you want.
No, when you change the gearing you will have to change the code that you program in. I can't help you on what to change it to so my suggestion is to change the values up or down a little at a time and check with a GPS for accuracy. I hope this helps.
I configure it the same as you explain in the video but, I have a difference of 5 km / h, that is, the GPS shows 30km / h and the speedometer of the Benelli shows me 25km / h, what is this difference due to?
I really can say what the difference is but I can say hundreds of folks have used this to correct their speedo so my advice is just reprogram and give it another try. It's super easy to NOT hit both buttons at the same time when done.

Great video and it worked for me but I now notice that at 5th gear the bike tachometer won't go above 5k. My speed is off by a 1 mph though.
That's strange? This is the first I've heard of 5th hear tach dropping. I hope you get it sorted.
@KrakensGarageandAdventures actually the tach won't go above 5k in any gear. I think I'm going to try setting it again and see if that corrects it.
what does cc123 and f012.3 means ? my benelli 150 says ch --- instead of cc.
They are just alpha/numeric values that Benelli uses for programming the speed censor. I can't say for sure this will work on your 150. If it doesn't you can always reprogram it back to your original setting. Good luck!
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures mine says CH000 to CH999 . no effect happens if i set it to 000 or 999.

Awesome Mark, and congratulations on the new bike. I'm glad my video helped you. Ride swift, ride safe. Eric
Great video and an awesome channel

I sure can knock the DIY how to" videos on this. I'll get on it. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Eric
I thought it was fuel injected therefore has no carburettor, or??
So i just calibrated my speedo and now the tach isnt working right. Any ideas

Does the 2021 Benelli TNT 135 hav this same problem?

I just got a 2021 TNT135 and I just tested the speedometer accuracy and I was just showing that I was going 3mph SLOWER than what my speedometer read on my bike. How come the speed difference was a lot more on your bike than mine? I forgot to test at 60 though. Does that matter? Do I need to test again at 60mph?
I validated the error at 30 mph and at 60 mph. So to answer your question I would need to know the speed you were doing (verified by gps).
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures really thankss dude , happy holidayss for you and your family
I did this and my speedo is fixed. However my tach is super inaccurate now. Saying redline is at like 4k on the guage
