  • Getting the benefits of 2 hours of exercise sandwiched in a 15 minute workout may sound too good to be true, but with Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS training), it may be possible. Prepare to be strapped into a suit covered in electrodes, designed to make every muscle in your body quake and shake. When turned on, the electrode suit causes your muscles to contract 15 times more than they would with a standard bicep curl! But what does it feel like? Does it hurt? Peep the video above to a first-hand look at what EMS training at Manduu Santa Monica was like for Lily.

I'm a 60 year old man and use my ems suit every other day on a high intensity setting, and it's absolutely amazing. I've lost 60 lbs in 18 months and routinely get compliments.

I enjoyed it but it doesn't replace diet and additional training, so unless you have more disposable income, it's not for me. I did like the afterburn. It will leave you sore as hell.

I did a trial here i can't handle the thought of the electricity running through me every after 3 seconds or so.. so, it's really not for me.

@@tamimnorani Your heart runs on electrical pulses.
Imagine that electricity interefereing with pace of the heart. Espcially when you are challenging yourself.

@@Turnpost2552 That is precisely why you do talk with the doctor and personal trainer first and it's actually not advised for any people with heart problems. If you someone is stupid and do not understand that - yes, they will get hurt perhaps. Not everything is for everyone and it grinds my gears that there is even a need to explain such obvious concepts
