When Diablo was falling there was no struggle, no "NOOO, I was so close to end it all!", no cry of desperation, he just accepted his fate, even with closed eyes. After all, a true evil always can wait a bit longer. And there is no more patient evil in Diablo than Lord of Terror himself.
Problem is, he's a mortal now... And he needs to eat, there's no food in heaven... :/ . Also at some point tyrael, he 'greeds' wisdom which is an effect for being a mortal now. Like too much is poisonous to mortals.
Says more about Tyrael than Inarius, inarius followed the heavens blindly after his fall just to return he gave what the heavens wanted but Tyrale gave God what the heaven's needed
I was so amazed by this game and its cinematics I read the book that came out at the time.. .. the only thing I remember is that they do not have toilets in heaven.. and Tyrael in his new body needs a toilet... that's how epic the writing is.. :O
Well, when Mathael absorbed the Soul Stone and was subsequently defeated, it reopened the door for the Prime Evils and the Lords of hell to return down the road.

JC T he is not an angel or demon. But also not a human either
Technically, his sword El'druin can sustain him, so he doesn't need to eat and drink to survive, but he does need to sleep

I cant remember this cut scene when I finish the game on my Switch
The best part about this is god forgave Tyrael even though he lost faith.

@@dnxrru1176 it is. Its a epic book indeed, its one of the few comedy lines to break the pace a little between war chapters.
@@gabrielalexandre2943 holy shit lol I MUST get my get my hands on that book now!
Damn, I didn't know Optimus was here.
"(...) cast down the Prime Evil... forever..." till D4 expansions I guess.

Finaly bright in GARGES mainds
And from this dumb move of throwing the body of Diablo down to earth comes the expansion Reaper of Soul
No. The soulstone was retrieved by Tyrael and the Horadrim. Malthael tracked the soulstone and then absorbed its power.
Why Wisdom?
FreedomFighter08 I'm pretty sure that Maltheal was wisdom but then he left so there was no angel of wisdom anymore
The council needed an angel of wisdom to guide them. So since Maltheal left, they needed a replacement badly. So Tyreal stepped in.
FreedomFighter08 cause wisdom in death now
Malthael's dead now though
@@StudlyFudd13 OK so who's justice then ?
