What I don't understand is that Nephalem are partially defined by beings that are both good and evil. All creatures in the beginning came from one being Anu who split himself into two parts, Anu and Tathamet. It seems to me that the desire of some angels and demons to band together and create the nephalem might be the completing of the circle. The nephalem are closer to the original one being Anu then both angels and demons could ever be. Maybe some part of the essence of Anu and Tathamet wishes to be one once again and unite in peace. The logical conclusion to the story of Diablo should be the destruction of the heavens and the hells so that all that is left is the successful union of good and evil in the nephalem and humans. Then the circle is complete and Anu will have transitioned from being one union of good and evil to a more dispersed union of good and evil having created the world and life in the process. Also angels like Malthael are really limited in their view of the world, they are locked into their angel mindset of angels = good = right. Most angels except Tyrael cannot see past their programming and cannot understand how what they see as good and evil can exist in harmony.

Well Malthael was right about our ability to choose being an abomination. First time I saw him got me thinking in a... not so pure way. He's right to be repulsive of human existence in this case.
However, there is one quote to justified his action that lead to his downfall: "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you." Which is why, he lost his way and become one of them no different than demon.

@@WereCreed Probably, I might have been badmouthing Imperius so much. But my case is that the malthael incident shows that no creature is incorruptible be them Angels. And Imperius has been antagonizing the nephalem due to their demon blood, but now he can no longer argue against the Nephalem since the said incident is caused by one of their own and it also doesn't help that the Nephalem is now the strongest creature living. To cut the story short, his hatred against the nephalem may come out justified if the latter will become the next big baddie but in no position to be vindicative since the angels caused the events of ch5. Hence, when Malthael no longer serves as the aspect of Wisdom and a new hope is required, the angels, who are supposed to be the symbol of goodness, has allowed Tyrael to Usurp power as the aspect of both Justice and Wisdom even if he is now a mortal.

With the reason being that ALL the prime evils and lesser evils are in there. And who knows what is liek inside. Maybe a hellish landscape shaped and forged by those minds those souls inside. It would be an easy way to say, lets remake every evil boss. Lets explore something new. We have explored the world of Diablo. Maybe not all of it. But a fair bit. What is there left?
Everyone talks about mouth I'll coming back, which is possible. But what of the angiris council? Even if not they'll comes back pure as the Archangel of wisdom, they're still missing the Archangel of Justice. I wonder how the new one would come about
Diablo 3 was/is a great game and its remaster is quite good as well. We just need a new game with a little more spice instead of same thing all over again. You kill games like that, kinda like Halo and CoD.
Would it be possible that we just put Diablo as a mid game boss in Diablo 4 and make Malthael the main villain. He had so much more character and build up to him. Diablo was just.... there in the end.
@@otakon17 Same as demons, angels will respawn from their place of origin, that is hell and the high heavens so Malthael has good potential to return. Maybe not in Diablo 4, nobody knows, but in lore it's actually quite easy for him to return.
Malthael did what was right, after all he is the arc angel of wisdom not death. He saved humanity by making himself the villian, nephelem defeated him and there was peace once again. The nephelem will allways win against evil even in death.
So are y'all going to cover the SC2 20th Anniversary going down rn? I'm a big nerd for SC2 but I saw that Overwatch and Diablo 3 get something out of it too, so I thought it would be something you'll cover
So I just realized something. If malthael didn't perceive humanity to be abominations until Diablo's defeat. And shortly after that Tyrael became the aspect of wisdom. Would that mean that the reason he couldn't use the cup was because he wasn't wisdom anymore?
I would like Blizzard to collaborate with Sony PS4 and Xbox One to create a console version of Diablo 1 and 2 As PC players would know that constantly clicking on the mouse will have tremendous repercussions of the hand😉☺
you don't know that though. It could be part of what is intended. After all he knows how the war between heaven and hell will end. Perhaps his role becoming the aspect of death etc. is part of it. Perhaps his sacrifice was needed for a bigger part to the story.
If he really inhalied the aspect of death he must return, cos unlike other Angel a becomes death himself. So how should death go death? And the other case is he is technically a complete other type of fallen Angel, cos he was not captured, cursed by Demons. He is fallen by himself and his long life of the old Aspect of wisdom. That's make him unique.
Question... Now that Black Soulstone is shattered, we got ourselfs back to point zero or the ending of Diablo 3? I mean, Diablo absorved the other Evils becoming the Prime Evil, with that in mind, we got ourselfs THE Prime Evil or the Prime Evils at large ?
Well basically, either you played too many adventure mode games, or like me, you weren't connecting the dots between all those little cutscenes, because that's basically what this is, it's showing all the cut scenes in context, whereas you probably got a piece of it from one scene, then had to kill 1000 demons to get to the next one, along with 3 other zones in between so you forgot exactly everything that was going on.
i dont rly understand how imperius sees malthaels doing as something he needs to stop at best he tolerates humanity, at worst he would love them gone if one of his brethren finaly figures out how to do it, then honestly the dumbest writing decision was to make him fight this.
Makes no sense. Mathael says humans can be good or evil but abstains from voting. Then when they destroy the collective evils inside Dialblo's newest body that's when he decides humans gotta go? After they show they're good and destroyed evil?
Makes perfect sense but things do not work that way in reality. Like it or not everyone is bound in chains like slaves by things called laws for good reason. Without Law there will be chaos where there is chaos will be evil and evil is in all of us. We as humans have had evil thoughts even if we don't admit them we simply burry them deep into ourselves so that won't be thought of again because reality and these laws keep the peace in the world for the innocent people who want nothing to do with this trouble. And unfortunately sometimes these little evils that come out of us are just waiting to have the excuse to pop up and make us do something irrational like this recent incident with the cop snapping a guys neck >.> The point is that if you don't follow the law chaos will happen and all hell just breaks loose and comes right out the gates devouring innocent peoples "lives" So I really do hope you read this and take this advice to heart everyone. Best advice that has been handed down my family for hundreds' of years. All children in my family are taught to think with logic and reason and only be emotional to one person in life. The person you want to be with for the rest of it.
Would of made more sense for Diablo to be a Fallen Angel imo

Notice how more and more anti god themes are found in games nowadays. Something sinister is happening behind the scene. All the angels are depicted as useless and unreliable, seems more like a concerted effort to ruin the reputation among impressionable youth.
Malthael is NOT the aspect of death. He is not the true reaper. He’s an impersonator, as are the rest of his “reapers”. Angels are not meant to meddle with such cosmic forces as death.

Malthiel is dead by the end of thee expansion and Diablo is released from The Black Soulstone.
@@otakon17 Same as demons, angels will respawn from their place of origin, that is hell and the high heavens so Malthael has good potential to return. Maybe not in Diablo 4, nobody knows, but in lore it's actually quite easy for him to return.
@@harku123 Considering things, pretty sure anyone the newly Death empowered Nephalem slays, STAYS dead.
@@otakon17 Perhaps
The Nephalem have always a power-up.
I just want a 10 year time-skip from now, so I can watch Diablo 4 get released
You have to go freeze yourself like Cartman lol
You may have not wait for 10 years but 2.3 years more
U got it chief
yo guess what
Good news lmao
Malthael did what was right, after all he is the arc angel of wisdom not death. He saved humanity by making himself the villian, nephelem defeated him and there was peace once again. The nephelem will allways win against evil even in death.
So are y'all going to cover the SC2 20th Anniversary going down rn? I'm a big nerd for SC2 but I saw that Overwatch and Diablo 3 get something out of it too, so I thought it would be something you'll cover
nieeecceeeeee....do a video of potential villains for the next diablo game
One of my favorite hots characters
So I just realized something. If malthael didn't perceive humanity to be abominations until Diablo's defeat. And shortly after that Tyrael became the aspect of wisdom. Would that mean that the reason he couldn't use the cup was because he wasn't wisdom anymore?
I just don't know what hidden truth did you reveal. Everything you said was known from the game. Shameful display.
Standard click bait title. I'm disappointed too.
But at least it was a nice well written video that you can view on the internet any time you want at the price of zero dollaz
It was hidden in his head
Liked for the ending. “A SHAMEFUL DISPRAY!!!”
He make such good points about humans though.
considering that humans write his character, that would make sense.
as long as blizzard is alive diablo survives always 😂😂😂
I would like Blizzard to collaborate with Sony PS4 and Xbox One to create a console version of Diablo 1 and 2
As PC players would know that constantly clicking on the mouse will have tremendous repercussions of the hand😉☺
Diablo 1 actually received a console release on the PlayStation 1 little known fact.
So basically, Malthael is a hard reset for the prime evils. 🤦
To be the most wise angel, he pulled a bone head move
you don't know that though. It could be part of what is intended. After all he knows how the war between heaven and hell will end. Perhaps his role becoming the aspect of death etc. is part of it. Perhaps his sacrifice was needed for a bigger part to the story.
The most enlightened ones tend to be the truest. He has seen enough wisdom to know he must make a sacrifice for his heaven comrades.
Can’t malthael just respond in the high heavens at the crystal spire
the villain always finds a way to justify their doings
Sounds like malthael was corrupted by envy.
More like Pride and Wrath.
@@brendanfrost2475 not at all. if anyone, that would be Imperius.
Fr
damn maltheal! u done fukt up!
So the greatest angel of wisdom, Died a Fool.
No his title was his judgement. He must be wise. And that's a long way to venue and call a fool mind u
I never played Reaper of soul just because I don't want to kill Malthael, I love him so much TwT
Soooo.... he’s the good guy?
Cah, at this point the nephilim seems like the definition of deus ex machina
Question... Now that Black Soulstone is shattered, we got ourselfs back to point zero or the ending of Diablo 3? I mean, Diablo absorved the other Evils becoming the Prime Evil, with that in mind, we got ourselfs THE Prime Evil or the Prime Evils at large ?
3:15 ahhh release.
Do a video on uldissian, lilith and inarius
He's action to absorb the soul stone is very unwise.
I like seeing more diablo content :>
Someone else to add to my list:
- Elliot did nothing wrong.
- Garrosh did nothing wrong.
- Malthael did nothing wrong.
Griffith did nothing wrong
Sylvanas did nothing wrong
- Thanos did nothing wrong
So what was the hidden truth? I already knew all this just by playing the game and reading wikipedia lol.
Archangel of wisdom is truly an internet in chatacter
"hidden truth" , You just described what was already in game , how tf is that a "hidden truth " ?
I still remember thinking maltheal was so cool when he reflected the baldes on the demons who threw them! Sad😒😒
Aspect of death, archangel of wisdom
Can’t wait to play Diablo 4
The definition of chaotic good
Literally got hero of the storm to play Maltheal
Fun fact Diablo was the game which inspired the game Darksiders!
Malthael in his thoughts:nephalim to OP pls nerf
? I feel like I didn't play Reaper of Souls, because a great deal of this was unknown to me.
Same, and I've been playing the game since its release
Well basically, either you played too many adventure mode games, or like me, you weren't connecting the dots between all those little cutscenes, because that's basically what this is, it's showing all the cut scenes in context, whereas you probably got a piece of it from one scene, then had to kill 1000 demons to get to the next one, along with 3 other zones in between so you forgot exactly everything that was going on.
Malthael reminds me of Thanos, both of them are my heros
i dont rly understand how imperius sees malthaels doing as something he needs to stop
at best he tolerates humanity, at worst he would love them gone
if one of his brethren finaly figures out how to do it, then honestly the dumbest writing decision was to make him fight this.
Now I want hollywood superhit movie on diablo....
Whas it just me who heard him say engelic beans at 0:25?
Can we get a DLC with Baal?
thank you for that video
So you have Angels and Demons so where's GOD
The creator is basically Anu, check the Diablo lore on the Rhykker channel
Lilith and Inarius and their associates did have the ability to choose though. Stupid Malthael even he himself did chose to become evil in the end.
Advice: Spit filter...
Makes no sense. Mathael says humans can be good or evil but abstains from voting. Then when they destroy the collective evils inside Dialblo's newest body that's when he decides humans gotta go? After they show they're good and destroyed evil?
Im addicted
Maltheal is the most interesting character imo
Perfect, this guy makes sense.
I feel like im watching ancient aliens but better voicing and more anecdotal.
It’s a damn game, people like you are so annoying😂🖕🏻
Malthael was the first being to exist in the universe after Anu and the prime evil died, let that sink in.
That makes sense. First God, then the Devil, then Death.
Malthael is NOT the aspect of death. He is not the true reaper. He’s an impersonator, as are the rest of his “reapers”. Angels are not meant to meddle with such cosmic forces as death.
sooo.... wisdom huh?...
Waitwaitwait...there's an *ANIMATION?* Where?!?!?!
0:38 OREO??? Hahahaha
Thanks
bro heem the title is wrong hes the archangel of wisdom
Did I miss the "hidden truth" part? Watched the video but unless I'm missing something that was more of a lore recap, wasn't it? If the title was click bait then whatever, but honestly was there something I missed?
couldn't Angels simply make strong and good nephalem immortal? - Why aren't nephalem immortal on their own if they are so powerful?
Where are these Diablo cartoons from?
I just searched Diablo cartoon and it came up with a short film
If you're still in need of the answer, it's from an animated short called 'Wrath'
He better not return in Diablo IV - unless he wants to have his angelic ass kicked again. 😇
It’s funny cause it’s actually angels and demons that are abominations. The humans are true as Anu before he turned against himself.
Well obviously angels DO choose don't they. Otherwise there'd be no FALLEN angels.
Malthael did nothing wrong (=
