I had to buy some for my 535i, I replaced the transmission filter and oil. Had slipping occurring due to the loss of helpful particles in old fluid, came across this shudder fix at advanced auto, popped this bottle in and instantly had good results!! This product definitely came in Clutch!! No More Slipping Tranny👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Is it still running fine? I'm not sure what to do my 328i (e92) with 290k miles has been shuddering for the past month and I have never replaced the transmission fluid like ever. I don't know if I should now, when it shifts to higher gears like 3 and 4 it shudders (the entire car shakes) after a few seconds it goes into gear fine and everything works smooth afterwards.🤔🤔

So if you understand what it is and how it works that will explain to you how it works so quickly. Essentially there is a film that builds up on the plates of the torque converter, and that causes them to slip and thus the "shudder". So this stuff chemically breaks the bonds of that film down so it no longer slips. Since it's a chemical reaction, it's really quick, you basically just gotta mix it in there good.

I understand. Rather than using instant shudder fixx, perhaps you can find a trustworthy mechanic to change your fluid and filter. This is ultimately what I'm doing after 3 years of using instant shudder fixx and it's actually working out better for me.

    • @amilcareschettini5881

@@j2review I think its a bad idea in my case because of the mileage is so high like 173K. I bought used it with over 1ooK miles and it is recommended that tranny is serviced at 60-100K which wasnt done Im guessing. It is a Camry 2018 so they have must have thought that Camry is sooo dependable but you have to do fluid changes when required in order for those Toyotas to run forever.

    • @j2review

I understand. As I said in my last video on this subject: "The industry has lied to us for all of these years". This pretty much coincides with what you're saying. For what it's worth, I used to flush all of my transmissions every 60,000 miles but changing the fluid & filter just shy of 188,000 miles was a real game changer for me. After that, I changed it again at 202k because it started to act up again but now I'm currently about to cross the 214,000-mile mark. I'm planning to do it one more time around 230,000 miles if it behaves that long. Please note, I bought the vehicle with 37,000 miles on it and drove with that original fluid in it until changing at 187,955. I'm hoping I can take that transmission to 300,000 miles before having to replace it but only time will tell...

I am also an instant shutter fix believer. I was extremely close to probably replacing a transmission in my 2014 Ford Explorer. I found this product on UA-cam. I bought it and tried it and almost instantly it fix the shutter and I can’t fathom that a professional mechanic Would not have told me about this product rather than hose me and charge me $5000 for transmission. I am probably one month since adding this product to my car and I keep expecting the problem to come back. One of those too good to be true moments!

I did a complete flush of the trans fluid, dropped the pan replaced the filter, and added two of the little packs of Instant Shudder Fixx. The shift points did improve and the shudder isn't as noticeable.. every now and then it still happens.. My money is on the torque converter.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge, expertise and experience on this subject! As shown in later videos, I ultimately ended up dropping the pan on my transmission twice and replacing the fluid and filter both times. I'm no longer using instant shudder fixx or any other additives and so far, things have been pretty good. I must give credit to ISF for buying me time to figure out what the issue was with my transmission without having to replace or even repair it. Every once in a while, the torque converter will make a noise, so you are correct to put your money on that being the issue. Moving forward, I will be changing the transmission fluid & filter every 30,000 miles.
