- In this video I cover a few basics on flying from uncontrolled to controlled airspace. Controllers at Toledo Express had me land with a quartering tailwind.

Really liked the comment at the end...
that’s what’s flying all about enjoying it and taking friends and family up 👊🏼.
Peace From the UK 🇬🇧 🤘
Tim, Im starting my training into class C airspace...this video was made really clear and I found it to be super helpful !! Thanks !! Chris Bar Harbor Maine
Fantastic video! I'm currently practicing solo flying in controlled airspace and really appreciate how you presented the information in your video! Very helpful video :-D
Dude wtf, I'm going to fly in class c airspace today with my instructor so I wanted to watch a video about that, first video I click is you going to the same airport lol, much love from the folks at KADG.
Good luck bro!
Hi, Tim...a most professional presentation! Remind me to tell you about a tailwind landing I made at College Park MD one day
Really enjoyed this video. Thank you very much!
Enjoyed the video . Thanks for sharing
Cool video! I like it
Nice video!
Great vid...keep em comin!
Nice video!!!
I’ve been looking for a class C that is fairly local and not to busy to do some practicing at. Might have to keep that as an option!! Never been into one.
I really enjoy your videos and have
always had a question about flying thru Class C airspace. My question:
I take off at a Class G airport and fly VFR towards by destination
class G airport which is on the opposite side of the class C. I contact
approach and they give me a squawk code. I then pass thru the Class C
enroute to my destination airport which less than five miles outside the
class C boundry. When I get close to my airport but still in Class C
airspace and I want to switch over the my destination airports CTAF Do I
first need to contact approach or do I just switch my transponder to
1200 and switch my radio to the CTAF and then land? Or do I contact
approach first?
Let me know when the FBO is ready to sale the G1000
hey, nice video :)
Thanks for the video. Do you need to establish radio contact with Approach or Tower before entering Charlie airspace?
Typically, approach. They turn you over to tower as you get closer.
hello, nice video Tim, may I know what kinda headset are you using? I've been told these type of headsets are not ok for training aircrafts everybody recommending bose A20 , many thanks
Hello once Again Tim
I Have a 182 at 4g8 let’s go flying sometime
Can I come !
What kind of headset you are using ? I am looking for these kind if light weight headset as well. Which can be used in piston engine and not too noisy...
These are made by Clarity Aloft.
are they better than A20? noise cancellation? @@timwalker411
@@aliafshar5361 Clarity Aloft are nice for longer flights because normal headsets give me a headache from the squeezing. But nothing sounds as good as the A20.. those are amazing!
Thanks a lot

Hello, Can you explain why tailwind would reduce the speed? Wouldn't it increase the speed
Yes, it would increase ground speed. I was referring to a possible shift in winds, which is always dangerous on final. (If my tailwind picked up significantly, my relative speed would drop possibly causing a stall)
@@timwalker411 thanks for the reply that make sense.
4275 ! Not 6. Lol.
That’s why I can’t make these video and fly.
