Hey Tim! Great video. I can’t help but notice the clear voice with no engine sound in the background. What did you use to isolate the sound of the voice?
Stumbled upon your video. Two questions. 1. Why are you sitting there holding the brakes while you scroll through your checklist with the tach reading 1300 RPM? The little Continental O200A idles very nicely at 700 to 800RPM. Is there a reason you need to keep the engine revved up that high while setting up the cockpit? Excessive RPM operation on the ground when not moving causes unnecessary abrasion of the prop leading edges and can certainly contribute to adverse effects to anybody unlucky enough to be behind you. And 2. How about mounting the camera anywhere but on your head. I was getting "seasick" just watching this! Anyway, thanks for sharing. "Mike" Kelly "Old School" Aviator and CFI.
Mount your camera inside the plane head mount is just too much movement nice air strip lots of wide open space where you can set it down if the engine ever fails on take off.
I'm 6'2" and I sit very comfortable in the 150. One of the best planes Cessna ever built.
I used to have a '63 C150-C and loved that little plane. It really liked to fly and so did I.
150 is the sweetest plane. love them.
Love the 150! It's a legend
Great video, enjoyed the C150 ride with you.
Love listening to the air traffic.
nice flight in nice weather :)
Love the 150s (:
I have not seen a straight 150 with skylights in quite a while. It was a option on the regular 150's, but stock on all the Aerobats.
I’m 6’4” and was flying a 150F for a while lol. By myself yeah it’s not bad at all, snug but not bad.
That's cool. A 150 with skylights that's not a Aerobat. That was an option, you just don't see that many around.
Scott Morgn Didn’t know that! Very cool

Great video! What strip is that? I fly out of Weltzien Skypark (15G).
Thanks! This is a private strip just west of KTOL.

Knew nothing about this video then I saw you land at what I thought was Toledo Suburban and I guess I was right lol. What are the odds
My first plane will be a 150
Really digging the videos and the format in which you record them. How was Oshkosh?
Thanks James! Had a great trip to Osh.. should have some footage up soon.
Great! Can't wait to see it.
Did you just put flaps up while 50kts IAS and 10 degrees turn? That could have been fatal movement.
How many degrees of flaps did you leave in to take off?
thx. caught it second time around. same as in my 150 POH :)
How much of that 2000ft did you use?
Do you ever have trouble getting up to speed on the grass?
C150 very affordable but is 245 pounds and I don't fit on it!
Saving for c172
Useful load is 489 if your really tall I think it's kind of cramped.
Subbed
Thanks! More vids coming when this Midwest weather breaks..
Did you quit making new videos?
i am 6'2" and i fit as far as leg room i love flying and would like a bigger airplane but at my age 78 and i cant afford anything bigger
