- Hello there ladies and gentlemen today something magical is about to happen today in todays video! The Spiffing Brit today attempts to play the 2008 classical game that is Spore. A game so unique that it took miracle video game god Will Wright to create a perfect game that inspired a generation of gamers before the release of minecraft. Welcome to Spore! Spore is a evolution game where you start as a single cell object and as you eat, you gain DNA and abilities! The only issue is today we will be seeing if you can beat spore by creating a species that has specialized entirely into the economy and now has the ability to create infinite spice by duplicating it! That's right the spore infinite spice challenge is going to be incredible! It will once and for all prove that spore is a perfectly balanced game which can for some reason be beaten by bypassing the core gameplay loop of designing planets to slowly produce spice and setting up trade routes. And for some reason we are able to go from cell stage to creature stage to tribal stage to civilization stage and finally the space stage and find that the space stage is now very funny to play!
So today I show you how to Break the game by beating it by becoming god in spore! It is one very exciting video game challenge! So lets play spore!

Here' another fun little exploit, you didn't need to get the badge for the terraforming tools, what you can do is get one of the missions from your homeplanet where they ask you to terraform a specific planet to T3. But as long as you don't terraform that specific planet and use all 4 of the tools they give you you can return to the home planet and say "Oops I accidentally used all my terraforming tools", and they'll sell you another set for only $1000 rather than the $600000 or so it would normally cost. A fair bit of a bargain and you don't even need to unlock the badge.

There's a new spore like game being developed on steam called adapt that will hopefully be what spore could have been, it's only got a demo rn but from the video I saw it's very similar but they're taking their time doing it right, I saw a post from a couple years ago saying they had a demo and they're still working on it at this point

I never knew the citizens could fight a giant creature. Imagine that, I'm learning something new about Spore in 2021.
2:24 the "Human Bean" on the left is absolutely cursed.
For maximum effect: uplift a civilization on a t3 purple spice planet, then buy out the system. The default spice storage will be somewhere around 30-50, which can be doubled to 60-100 meaning you can duplicate without restriction.
Also a planet like that often doesn't need the duplication bug because whenever you visit it will be full and can instantly fill your inventory

Just realized that this is the first time I've seen Spore space stage gameplay in my life. I even finished the game back in the day.

There will never be a Spore 2 as this was a very ambitious project when it was developed, I like what you done here. I remember the advertising at the time ,,, there will be no other game like this, I guess they are right...
my favorite way to farm effectively spice was always to search for a purple spice planet, make it nice and cozy, place an obelisk, wait for the local wild life to reach spacestage, do a trading route, and buy there world, congratulation, you now have a purple spice colony with... i think 9 cities instead of just 3, totally balanced
I've played spore for a long time and I've always known it's full of bugs and glitches if you know how to cause them, this is the first helpful one that I've found out about
