@@jumnei5159 definitely. Because it's harder to just manage peace, I did a race that expertly made allies with a race advance then I destroyed it.

That’s all of my races basically they just kill everyone and they will befriend you just to blow your planet up after 1 or 2 years
The best thing is, it's pretty easy to just speed past the Grox towards the center of the galaxy once you have a sufficiently upgraded engine. Uber actively went out of his way to ally with the Grox just to make a point.
I keep trying that, but al I meet are dead ends from every way (no near stars to move forward)
The most incredible part is when you realize that the entire game was just an introduction. The real game starts at the space stage
Yeah the space stage was incredibly boring, tribe and creature stage are too short.
It's cuz ea rushed this game out, the different stages were planned to be way more diverse and interesting.

Honestly the fact that the game allowed for this video to be made makes it a masterpiece in and of itself. How it supports your quest for peace while also having random attacks from creatures you can not kill due to your ideals, like a test from God. Letting you control the flow of spice. Letting you achieve global domination without ever harming anyone else directly. Then the Grox. Truly magnificent

Well, you can bribe all people who sent war transmissions to you, plus they wont attack until you read the transmissions. This makes it so you can ally with everyone, even the grox, , as the bribe will remove the -200 from allying grox

Moral of the story: sometimes you need to fight, you can't always solve it peacefully. Also you can't befriend everybody, someone will always gonna hate you for some reason. That is how life works.
Real. I tried to do a pacifist run. Someone insisted i pay them 700k. I had about 20k. I said no. They shot me when i tried to swing by to do a mission. I removed their empire from the face of the fucking universe.

I love how for some of the cutscenes (I.e tribal and civilization) the game had to twist the ghandicus’s hands 180 degrees so it would actually work correctly since the game was designed to work with hands that were affixed normally.

I love how being a pacifist will result in becoming a universal criminal after allying with the Grox and being a Genocidal monster will result in becoming a universal hero after whipping out the Grox.
I think this and the Diddy Kong Racing video are Uberdanger's best work so far. Don't get me wrong, I love the WoW series, New Vegas adventure and both Terraria videos, and I actually like the chillness of the new FFXIV series, but there's just so many funny, original ideas on display in these two in particular that makes them the best for me, and I love returning to them every few months.
A lot of his other smaller videos are good too, although the other Spore video is a disgusting crime against nature and I hate it (granted it does show how far Uber's come over the years).
The best thing is how smooth his voice is the whole time even when describing the gut wrenching screams of the slaughtered Ghandicus

The long fallen Ghandicus empire was discovered by young Armatoan Archeologist Chrii Treyiin when researching the numerous ruins scattered on one of the Prime worlds of the Ghandicus (located within the home system). Where Ahimsa once stood, there is only an asteroid belt made from the remains of the planet. Numerous pieces of Ghandicus technology would the Armatoan race come to realize that the Asteroid belt in the former Ghandicus capital is the remains of their destroyed home world, but the more shocking revelation was that this fallen empire was responsible for life on their planet which was terraformed from a high atmosphere hothouse world into a tier 3 paradise by the Ghandicus to take advantage of the massive amounts of purple spice practically exploding out of the planet.
The Armatoan species would also come to learn of their creator's obsession with peace, something that would lead to their downfall when they allied with the Grox and became embroiled in war with all other Sophonts. But the most disturbing revelation of all was that their world was never destroyed by enemy forces, but by a single Ghandicus who went rogue after learning of the war brought on by the Ghandicus allying with the Grox, after which he would flee to an atmosphere less world in the Armato System where he walked off into the distance until his oxygen ran out, his body would be found 920 million years later by Armatoan scientists who learned of his actions from his decaying space ship after discovering his body.
This is a beautiful story on how no matter how much try no matter how hard you try in the end, you cannot achieve peace there will always be someone who wants to fight there will always be something who wants to fight. There will always be a reason to fight. The truth is peace is is about as unattainable as inmortality it might come one day, but it certainly isn’t gonna be happening anytime soon

That's the issue though, every other species in the galaxy is being terrorized by one species to the point of all waging war on them. As you ally yourself with them the other species in the universe take this as a sign of hostility as you are adamantly creating an "Alliance" with their major enemy. The best way to represent this would be the fact that Gandhi had correspondence with Adolf Hitler between 1939-1940 telling him his philosophies of peace and why Hitler should not start a war in Europe. Gandhi did his best to try and persuade him away from evil and war but would obviously never "Ally" himself with Adolf Hitler, as allying yourself with someone in war time is essentially saying you agree with their ideals against the countries that are on the opposing side of the war. At best we could hope for EA having put in a system that allows you to push the Grox to stop their hostile and aggressive ways, though as we've seen through real life examples (such as the one above) this rarely works. In all the most "peaceful" way to play spore would be to ally with everyone and simply set up a trade route with the Grox, thus making it so they at least won't attack you and you can "Roleplay" yourself attempting to convince them out of their genocidal ways, only to be met with the same results as what happened in the real world, your cries and talks of peace falling on deaf ears as the Grox spare you but continue their war against any others who oppose them (In this case, everyone but you.)
