Marnie, as a woman from a conservative Mennonite community where I am a professor at a Christian liberal arts college, I appreciate your choices. They are lovely and often work for my context.
I also appreciate Marnie’s choices. I have modesty concerns as well and most everything she shares works for me.
Thank you Deborah! I always share what I'm most comfortable in, first and foremost, and I know that my more conservative taste isn't for everyone. However, I would much rather be a little overdressed and modest than the alternative! It's my hope that the pieces I share can be worn by anyone, for almost any situation.
@@MsGoldgirl I wouldn't classify myself as "conservative" so to speak but I'd say you have a very ladylike fashion sense which I like. My ex husband's mom grew up Holdeman mennonite so being somewhat covered was a must.

Sorry, one other comment- thank you for putting the links directly in this for each item. I know referring folks to go to the LTK app is becoming the preferred method for a lot of influencers (and I have the app), but I think it’s more cumbersome for the user. Would be interesting to see trend on if the sales on direct link is greater vs LTK referrals. Thanks again for a fun video!
As a user, I prefer direct links. As a creator who is sometimes very short on time, I appreciate being able to link up to 16 items to one link and sharing it. In an ideal world, I can offer both because anything I link to the LTK app remains there forever and is searchable. So if you’re thinking 2 weeks from now, what was that blue dress Marnie shared you can search my LTK page for blue dresses and it will pop up.
Also, LTK primarily focuses on Instagram creators and they can’t easily link out a whole post while on UA-cam I can use the whole description box to list everything. So I use both. I love hearing your feedback!! Thanks!

It was a while ago and don’t even recall putting email in but I definitely do not notice a lot of emails due to having that app. Just not a huge fan of the app but it does make sense to have one place to go to find everything for those folks that you follow.

Marnie, I have to say I love your hair. You look fantastic. That being said I don’t normally shop at Walmart for clothes but the cargo pants on this video seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. I received them today. I really like that it’s a straight leg but they give the illusion of a wide leg look without making you look twice your size. I work hard staying fit and I don’t want clothes that make me look bigger than I am. Thanks for all your recommendation.

I think the most interesting belt trend I’ve seen in recent months is the skinny leather cord belt that wraps around your waist several times and ties in a knot with loose ends. On dresses, blazers, oversized shirts. All over the runways. Especially good for people who don’t want massive attention called to their waist but still want to cinch it. You can spend big $$$$ for them. I bought one from Etsy for $35.

I’m with you 100% on bows! I think they are great on shoes - if they aren’t too big, handbags, etc., but on adults they just don’t look right!
As for shoes, like you I prefer heels, or at least small heels. I can no longer wear higher heels like I used to, but a two-inch block heel is fine. And I must have 5 or 6 pairs of cap-toe shoes! I absolutely love them!

I have a white tiered dress in my closet. Mine is slightly above the knee. I'll be bringing that to the front. A pair of flats that look almost ballet. I bought belts from the local Macy's when they had their closing sale. I'll dig out my sky blue for spring and early summer. 💙

Being 5’1” I find that the large florals wear me instead of me wearing them! Not for me though I’ve tried several times!
Instead of thinking of bold as just big florals, try a floral print with bolder colors!

I ordered 1 pair in early January (thanks to you). I love them and wish I ordered more! But they continue to be Out of Stock. Ughhh. Come on Walmart!!! I’m glad you are featuring Quince too. Love your video and enthusiasm! I am 50...I stand 4' 10" tall...weigh 95 lbs...wear a 0000 in pants and a little girl size 3 shoe. It is so hard to find anything in my size. I'm not even sure where I could shop to find trendy clothes. I just have a very rough time.

Funny...too many of the double strap...they kill my high arch, but like you ...I love the suede mushroom kitten heels...they do breathe better in phx...and the clear plastic is sticky and too hot...always love your videos...my favorite new spring shoe is the suede Steve Madden heeled sandal w suede flowers...comes in blush, mushroom and emerald...look them up!

Thanks Marnie for showing 7 of the new trends coming this spring. I am NOT a fan of ballet shoes or Mary Jane’s, not a good fashion item for me! I do have three pairs of the driving shoes and a new pair of Adidas sneakers. I still like skinny jeans and joggers, but have embraced the new high waisted Chico trouser jeans- they are my favorite and I find that I reach for them more often than I thought I would. Another great video! I look forward to them each week. Thanks again for sharing the new trends and all the research you do!
