Love love the casual elevated look. 💋 I feel it’s necessary to mention that *posture* is a critical item to always wear to look our best! These shirts/shirt dresses look AH-mazing with proper posture, but will make someone look larger and exaggerate a slightly droopy shoulder position into looking hunchback level. One cannot pull off an Anna Bey look without Anna Bey posture- it is what it is 💁🏻♀️ My favorite item was the shirt dress. I really enjoy shirt dresses with different belts to make me feel fresh and aligned with my mood. The elevated sneaker thing too tho… great new hack for me! I have a longer torso and sneakers make my legs look shorter every time, but I’m not comfortable wearing heels or sandals all day every day. I’m going to try the elevated sneaker! Thanks Anna!

The color aspect is so true. The other day I wore my standard white flared pants, matched them with a black top and threw a bright red Blazer on top. I wore matching red ballerinas, too. The amount of stares I got?! INSANE. I never tried colors because I thought it'll be too childish. But actually... it made me embrace my feminine side and my flexibility!❤ ADD. MORE. COLOR!
I agree with what you’re saying. In the 60s, 70s, and 80, women in the US use to do all these things. When I went to public school, all the girls would wear makeup and jewelry everyday. In our school we wear not allowed to wear jeans. We all wore nice clothes, whether it was a dress or pants suit. We also did not wear sneakers. We took sneakers for PE and then changed back into our dress clothes after gym.
I graduated high school in 2011. My high school banned jeans, sweatpants, or anything containing spandex. Bottoms had to be belted at the waist and come to at least the knee, with no more than 5 pockets. Shirts had to have a sleeve and a collar or turtleneck. No hoods, pictures, or writing. And shoes had to be solid black or solid white. It might have been strict, but we all graduated knowing how to look professional.
until the dress code was eliminated by the U.S. federal court in 1973 in public schools. ..I went to a Catholic College & women still had to were skirts/dresses & men shirt & ties.......after Kent State 1970........things changed...a LOT of things changed
I have enjoyed Oxford shirts, shirtwaist dresses, etc., since I was about 14. I do not wish to pay the prices for the featured items as there are other choices one can make to acquire good quality clothing. Consignment, thrift store shopping, Discount stores such as T.J. Maxx, etc. For those who want to pay these prices, no problem..
In the 70's and 80's all kids ever wanted as to wear jeans and tennis shoes and polo shirts or t shirts. I have no idea what country you were in, but it ants the USA

Anna, I just love to hear you talk about any topic. There are some years I watch your channel, and it's always so easy to understand (English is my second language). Also, I'll try to do something about my messy hair
I love shirts, too, I really like the collars, they bring the eye up to, and frame, the face. I like the collared Polo knit tops, too, for the same reason and they look nicer than plaint t-shirts, but are just as comfy.
My favourite casual shoes to wear in summer are loafers in perforated leather. They look more put together than sneakers and the holes in the leather are usually in pretty patterns and really do keep your feet cool. They are everywhere in Australia because in summer it really does get too hot for sneakers.
I love linen button down shirts! I'll happily check yours out, because I know quality linen fabric makes all the difference. Have recently discovered light weight linen sweaters! Comfortable, even near the equator. More comfortable than a cotton t-shirt, and definitely more eloquent, while still totally unstuffy and very comfortable.
Dear Anna, I love the whole Anna Bey Collection, full of exquisited linen and cotton items ❤ Unfortunately, for now, I can't place an order, but I hope to buy something from your clothing line soon. I have been subscribed to your channel for a few years, and I can honestly tell you that I really appreciate how your content has evolved together with you. Very good points! The hardest part is finding the clothes that I need. Almost no natural fiber clothes are available, in any style or color. Please do a vid on where to get good quality casual clothes.
I loved the peplum top. I have two of them with v-necks that were not expensive. I get compliments every time I wear them. I do wear tops made in cool cotton knit t-shirt material, but I never wear a boxy or plain t-shirt. I wear those that are cut in a feminine style, that is, with a woman's shape in mind, so not boxy at all.. I think a v-neck T in a feminine cut is attractive and I've got some with little eyelet cap sleeves. The feminine cut and details seem to make all the difference to elevate the inexpensive t shirt type fabric. I get compliments wearing these, too.
One way I like to elevate a casual outfit is to wear a short-sleeve, fine gauge sweater instead of a t-shirt. It’s so comfy and looks so much more stylish than a plain tee. It looks amazing with a little bit of jewelry, too. I live in Phoenix, AZ and I wear this even in summer. It has to be short-sleeved, though!
I just got three of what you're describing while travelling. Same little short sleeved sweater, loose fitting with a really nice hang shape and tiny metallic threads here and there. I got it in a heather cream, pale blue and pale pink. I live in Vegas and these are going to see me through the (indoor) summer!
@@mpsorr Hey, another desert dweller! If I absolutely have to spend a good stretch of time outdoors any day between June & September, it’s sunscreen, sunglasses, uv jacket, hat and/or parasol. I probably don’t look very cute-let alone stylish-at all, but the uv index doesn’t care about fashion!
Agreee, we should not forget that the t-shirt is originally a men‘s underwear garment. A short sleeve or no-sleeve jersey or pique button down or top would be another more elevated option.
I love watching you lady! But lately I have been embracing my native outfit, "Saree". Epitome of femininity. Love and lots of respect to you. - from India.
Hello Anna. I also love the ballerina flats. My problem is keeping them from getting icky inside after wearing them regularly. Could you perhaps do a video on properly caring for women’s shoes? Would love to hear any of your great ideas. Thank you for making such worthwhile and interesting content.
I love your channel Anna, because I learn so much on leveling up my style and life. Do you have or will you be doing any casual dress tips for plus size ladies? I have an apple shape (big tummy, hips and thighs), wear a size 3X in dresses, and I'm 5' 4" tall. I like the style of the button down shirt, but if I get it to fit my belly area, then it is too big around the shoulders and I end up looking sloppy. I am on a weight loss journey, but until then, I need all the advice I can get so I'll stop looking so frumpy in my clothes! Thanks!
A top with a peplum doesn’t work with a linen shirt or a printed oversized cardigan. Peplum is a structured element and doesn’t belong to the casual category. Such a top with short sleeves should be worn on its own, without layering. It can possibly be layered with light silk elements/garments, and can be paired with wide trousers, a pencil skirt, a single-color skirt, or a minimalistic geometric print skirt. Hope this helps.
Love love love using just ONE statement item that's interesting with an otherwise neutral outfit. It's my favorite look. I'm really into little neck scarves. It's a timeless look I stumbled into in my 30s and it never goes out of style so it's become my signature. I also love a bold print handbag that people can see from far away. Friends always joke that they know it's me and can see me coming because of my black and white or bright yellow or basketweave teal purses.
Women have curves, including waists and busts. Men's casual shirts are generally very simple. Manufacturers have started pushing men style shirts and knit tops for women. Collars that gape open, long shapeless, boxy cuts, so we can do a "half tuck" and long sleeves with man style cuffs that women now push up in a messy bunch of folds. The main reason this is now considered stylish is that shapeless man style shirts are much less expensive and tricky to cut and pump out. They are in sizes small, medium and large. (Not women sizes 8, 10, 12, 14, etc.) So, people believe that this look is cool because that is what is out there now. Cheap, quick and basic.
I think because of your size it makes it easier. When you are a bit overweight it’s a lot trickier and very easy to get discouraged. I dont enjoy wearing the shirts you love… I don’t care for button downs… but to each their own. And you look adorable 😃
Styling tips that are not new - and at the moment the market is flooded with linen. But Anna your prices are astronomical and a little advantageous noone needs to pay that much for linen. Looking elevated can be a little bit cheaper. Anna you are being opportunistic
These are great tips my hair is my downfall and it always makes me look scruffy even when I slick it back into a ponytail pieces pop out around my ears ugh. Any tips for making the hair elevated would be appreciated
1. Get your hair cut in a way that works for your head shape and hair type. Maybe get a consultation from a professional regarding products and ways to style it. 2. Hair care is persistence: keep a hair care routine where you focus on hair and scalp health. This will help keep your hair more manageable. 3. Find a styling tool that works for you. Learning how to do a Blowout or doing a heatless overnight-curling situation, etc. Does not matter what as long as you can keep up with it.
The best thing I found for this is a solid pomade stick at my stylist’s. I have a lot of baby hairs right now & they are constantly popping up even with gels & hairsprays. You just roll it on over the top & sides of your head almost like you are putting on a deodorant & it instantly sets the hair down. Also, hot your hair with a dry shampoo in the problem areas by your ears right after washing it. That will add some “tooth” to it, so it will stay longer in your pony tail.
These are such good and easy ways to bring more style and sophistication to everyday outfits! Can you link the cotton striped shirt with the details on the inside wrists and collar? So pretty! Thank you Anna!
@@AnnaBeyOfficial I must be missing it. I see the Lilysilk striped shirt link but not the pinstriped shirt you said was comfortable as pajamas. Thank you!
Love my shirts. Mens shirts are fantastic, the fabric wears better and no ironing! The old show Bewitched... Samantha wears the best casual clothing. Much like what you're showing us🙂👍
One of the top factors to elevate your looks too is when you are in your healthy weight. The fitting of clothes would drop effortlessly and so as your confidence 😊
Hi Anna! Thanks for this new video, very interesting topic! I was trying to rewatch your recent video regarding the travelling experience nowadays (with overly crowded popular places etc), but I can't find it... Could you please re upload it? It was right on spot and I was 100% agreeing with your points. Thank you for your content 🙏
Your clothes are stunning and look very high quality Anna. One day I will certainly invest in a few items from you. Your shorts, shirts and dresses in a few colors
Are u kidding me Anna bay .300.00 for a shirt that i could get at zara for 20.00 bucks. Literally got that shirt brand new from zara at salvation army for 5 dollars. Love you but are these targeted at rich people?
I agree, they do say "you don't need to spend alot to look good", but then their own line is not affordable for the average person. Of course its not for us to decide what Anna's prices should be.
She is almost always targeted to rich people darling!! What I do is listen to what she says and buy what I can and which is nice and also in my budget!! I appreciate how she gives style ideas and what kind of design to wear. Also I will like to say to all of audience, not every good thing is expensive and not every expensive thing is good. @solangelauthier2381 I have a ralph lauren shirt and zara button down yes they are basically the same ralph is alittle thicker also the buttons on ralph have turned yellow so explain that dear!
Our hair is our natural accessory. Once styled, it brings a tidy overall appearance. It compliments our face and clothes. Messy hair ruins the whole look of one’s appearance.
I bought a pair of Rothy's RS02 sneaker...comfortable & machine wash ( as all their shoes & handbags are!!) the white were too screamin' bright....purchased the off white which is basically an ivory or cream
I love linen button up shirts but it's tricky to find one that fits me well due to my bust and sizing up sometimes looks a little sloppy. I have a couple by Rails that fit pretty well but they'll likely need to be retired by the end of this summer.
Ladies imo in any instance you would wear a ballet flat, the Birkenstock Madrid sandal looks just as nice or better. Especially the big buckle style and way more comfortable
Any thought on options for a luxury bag with more character than a never full to got to school drop off, to gym, to grocery run, to coffee or lunch with mums/PTA, to pick up kids. To after school activity, to dinner fixing or meeting up with grand parents.
Anna can you please do a great elevated dog walking outfit video? my little chocolate working cocker spaniel likes to jump up so I gave up .. can you help us girls that are dog walkers to look so good on our daily walks but also practical for messy paws 😁🙏🏻❤️
This has been a huge problem for me because it is extremely hot half of the year. I come in soaking wet at times. I have a walk-the- dog wardrobe of old tee shirts and outdated pants, joggers or the ugly capris. I wear newsboy hats and sketchers or Bzees shoes. After my shower I put on a nice outfit of linen or cotton pants.. jeans at times with cute shoes and a nice top. I dry clean many / most of my clothes so everything is perfectly clean and pressed. Then I stay in air conditioned places. I'm in a suburban neighborhood and no one wears cute outfits to walk dogs.
I agree with that one. My own solution is to wear darker pants in mostly earth tones so the mud doesn’t show but it helps that I’m an autumn. Other than that I jog with the dog so I wear my running clothes when out with the dog.
I wish people would dress their personality and lifestyle rather than pay attention to trends. Most people don't need to update their wardrobe on a regular basis. Everything is in style if it fits and you love it.
First of all, the H Q D U P S materials used in this replica are top-notch. The leather feels soft and luxurious, just like the real thing. The stitching is impeccable, no loose or uneven lines. The hardware, including the signature CC twist-lock closure, is sturdy and well-made, adding to the overall elegance of the bag.
I'd love to know the same. Its perfect because it's not too 'Peplum-y'. I usually stay away from peplum tops because o me it looks like maternity wear 😑
The only thing I would caution about with button-down shirts is not taking body shape into consideration. Certain body shapes can look very masculine in button down shirts. There is nothing wrong with that if that’s the look you’re going for, but if you’re going for a more feminine look, it could be problematic. Anna did a great job showing different ways to wear the button down shirt that suits different body shapes.
I love all your tips. I always add my own belt to dresses and it makes a big difference. I have to look for some tennis shoes with platform to try how I look. I personally use the Adidas Stan Smith’s in plain white. I get them in the man’s section every single summer. $100 a pair. They are plain so go with everything and they are super comfortable. 2 years ago my husband gifted me a pair of gorgeous Hermés but unfortunately they are not as comfortable so I only wear them for short periods of time. For the price they should be just like the Adidas in my opinion. As for the white button down shirts I have many but still searching for the perfect one.
Im shocked at the price of those shirts.... outrageous. You can buy lovely cotton or linen shirts from many good retailers at a fraction of the cost of those shirts you are trying to sell!
Unfortunately I’m a small business in the manufacturing game. Costs are much higher for us as we order less quantities and for this reason prices are higher than what it is for the big brands. Add to that my love for quality fabrics, and there’s a big difference in quality between various linen fabrics. I opted for higher quality fabrics and therefore price went up accordingly.
Vilka vackra klänningar Anna. Lite för dyrt för mig. Har du tips på vad jag ska titta efter gällande material om man kan hitta lite billigare varianter? Tack för en bra video ❤
I think you offer great advice and give good tips. With inflation the way it is in the US how on earth do you think most people can order LV sneakers and $300 Shirts?

I’m sure there are some fantastic sites that incorporate your look…I watch Anna for her individual style. She does some beautiful looks with hats that covers her head.
Do you hate ironing, or just making time for it? I find that I like ironing, LOVE the results, but hate having to find time for it. Also, I'm not really ironing. I use a steamer, and they're more fun!

You are so right! A well-fitting shirt is comfortable to wear. Unfortunately it can be hard to find a good fit.
I agree on the linen shirt v. cardigan...mainly because oversized is very trendy and beautiful now; whereas, a tiny cardi is more of a y2k look!
Anna, I’d love to see a video on elegant swimwear 💙
I agree that if one part of your outfit looks nonchalant then the rest needs to look tip top or you look sloppy. 😊
Yes it’s all about balance!
It is really different for every person. I would find a style that works for you, and then just practice, practice, practice!
Thanks for lovely tips. It’s really useful. Refreshing choices!
I really liked the format of this video.
Your practical advice and examples gave me some great ideas for an upcoming cruise wardrobe.
These are such good and easy ways to bring more style and sophistication to everyday outfits! Can you link the cotton striped shirt with the details on the inside wrists and collar? So pretty! Thank you Anna!
Hi, all links are in the description!
@@AnnaBeyOfficial I must be missing it. I see the Lilysilk striped shirt link but not the pinstriped shirt you said was comfortable as pajamas. Thank you!
It’s from hoggs of fife
Love my shirts.
Mens shirts are fantastic, the fabric wears better and no ironing!
The old show Bewitched... Samantha wears the best casual clothing.
Much like what you're showing us🙂👍
400 to 600 dollars for a linen shirt? Ah, no.
You can always thrift a high quality one instead. 👍
the LYXBAG would be super cute during the fall with a nude or tan or even tonal outfit! i’m thinking a tan wool coat with that bag!!
Thanks for sharing these tips Anna. So simple and practical and yet makes a big impact. ❤
Thank you for the ideas, Anna! I've been in a rut, as comfort has become more important to me with a bad knee.
I really enjoy watching your content, by watching your content. I have really improved how I look now.
Your clothing are OVER PRICED!
Can you share what blush and lipstick you are wearing? Very natural looking!! Thanks
I am delighted to have discovered your channel!
Anna, GREAT VIDEO! Where did you purchase the white peplum top? It looks GREAT on you!
Your clothes are stunning and look very high quality Anna. One day I will certainly invest in a few items from you. Your shorts, shirts and dresses in a few colors
I love lavender color on you Anna😍😍😍😍😍
Neither expensive and good loking thing is all we need in life. Clothes are our basic needs and. we should wear what makes us comfortable, and trust me comfort doesnot always come with spending money heavily!!Learn and do what is good for you. Love❤
Do you really think those shirts would be the same ?L?
@solangelauthier2381 I have a ralph lauren shirt and zara button down yes they are basically the same ralph is alittle thicker also the buttons on ralph have turned yellow so explain that dear!
This shirt is 100% linen. You don’t buy that for 20€.
Love the striped shirt. Also nice picture of Anna Wintour. She always looks marvellous 😊.
Our hair is our natural accessory. Once styled, it brings a tidy overall appearance. It compliments our face and clothes. Messy hair ruins the whole look of one’s appearance.
Love your ideas and style Anna, will continue to support you.
I bought a pair of Rothy's RS02 sneaker...comfortable & machine wash ( as all their shoes & handbags are!!) the white were too screamin' bright....purchased the off white which is basically an ivory or cream
Thanks so much for another great video. I love the purple striped cotton shirt. Who is the maker/designer?
Hoggs of Fife ❤️
What brand are the platform sneakers?
I do love Linen❤️
I've always loved Ana! She's great
I love linen button up shirts but it's tricky to find one that fits me well due to my bust and sizing up sometimes looks a little sloppy.
I live in an area with extreme summer heat and humidity. I’d roast in long sleeve shirts.
Me too! Miami is hot most of the year!! I avoid being outdoors like the plague! Unless it’s the beach or the pool.
These are cute spring/fall suggestions. What are you wearing in Florida in summer, when the humidity makes us melt?
First of all, the H Q D U P S materials used in this replica are top-notch. The leather feels soft and luxurious, just like the real thing. The stitching is impeccable, no loose or uneven lines. The hardware, including the signature CC twist-lock closure, is sturdy and well-made, adding to the overall elegance of the bag.
Where is your white top from with the peplum? Love it so much!
Hi Anna, The pink shirt is so cute too. Could you share where that one is from? TY for your great tips!
@@AnnaBeyOfficial Thank you for explaining
Vilka vackra klänningar Anna. Lite för dyrt för mig. Har du tips på vad jag ska titta efter gällande material om man kan hitta lite billigare varianter? Tack för en bra video ❤
I think you offer great advice and give good tips. With inflation the way it is in the US how on earth do you think most people can order LV sneakers and $300
Shirts?
Hello Anna, I really like the pink stripe shirt. Can you please add the link? Thank you : )
Hoggs of Fife ❤️
I love everything about you and your brand wow 👌 ❤ so elegant
Hi Anna! We need a video where u determine what is elegant mean! Elegant = official look? Elegant = blouses, trench coat ,woolen coat , natural colours and simple lines. Its French style. Whats about the creatuve colourfull pattern Italian clothes???
I really don’t get the half tuck shirt reminds me of the scruffy kids at school. Then again I’m old.
I love your video's. Wish I were tall slim and younger. 🇮🇪
Loved this information.
Love your lipstick Anna can you share the make and colour
Hello my dear your advices made my life better i would love if u do some elegant looks for a woman wearing a scarf on head hijab
I’m sure there are some fantastic sites that incorporate your look…I watch Anna for her individual style. She does some beautiful looks with hats that covers her head.
What is the brand for the pink shirt with stripes? It is gorgeous 😍
Anna, you seem way more relaxed and less "uptight" than few years ago! :)) love it
She's reaping the benefits of her leveling up!
@wendyloo1159 true, yes :)
❤ I absolutely love your Channel..I have learned so much..
You make me feel special and a lady...
As a 36DD it’s so hard to find a button up that doesn’t make me look trashy..
am I the only one who hates ironing shirts?
Do you hate ironing, or just making time for it? I find that I like ironing, LOVE the results, but hate having to find time for it. Also, I'm not really ironing. I use a steamer, and they're more fun!
Im not a big fan of ironing but I LOVE my garment steamer. If you’ve never tried one of those, I highly recommend it!
@@LeaC816 thank you, never tried it but will definitively try it!
I love the peplum top. Super cute.
Dear Anna,
I am a big fan of you and your videos.
I am a first time mom since 3 weeks and I am really struggling with my outfits.
I am on maternity leave (at home) and breastfeeding. I need practical and comfortable outfits but I want to feel classy at the same time. Do you have tips for mums like me? 🩷🌸
I've said this for decades...it's just as easy to put on snappy, classic clothes than sweatpants! LOL
Thank you Anna!
What would you recommend as a casual/ every day wear for us who lives in hot climate? I live in Texas. The usual heat is 90-110 degrees plus high humidity. I prefer dresses and shorts to pants and button downs. What would you recommend? Thank you.
