    this is an awesome workout - in my time, this was called down the clock. He has outrageous core power, and sensational speed endurance, quite a contrast to morceli. What an effort it would be for the algerians to have a back to back Olympic champion. Good luck Evan and Taouflik!

    • @cocothefly
      @cocothefly 5 років тому +3

      Sadly Algeria sports ministry doesn't provide anything for its athletes.
      Sports are so underdeveloped compared to other countries like Kenya, Morocco or Egypt.
      Makhloufi when he was young, he couldn't afford to rent a room at a hotel for national competitions, and therefore he had to sleep in train stations and ask people to give him money to buy a sandwich.
      So many before him just abandoned sports because they were poor and nobody would care about them.
      That's the harsh reality. He didn't abandon and that's why he has this warrior mentality.
      Makhloufi himself buys airplane tickets for his algerian colleagues because otherwise they just couldn't participate in continental or international competitions.

    From 60m to 10000m, if u want to be the olympian player, each subject needs basic speed and explosiveness.
    This video proved this. He could run 100m 12 sec at ease...

    Look at him a powefull machine. Many guys , including me don't know what hard work , dedication and discipline is. Reaching a lvl that you do this workout takes years of beating on your craft. I don't think he is on drugs , wada tests this athletes in random times of the year. David Rudisha too is a machine in 800, this guy succeded in 1500 in Rio. Its like comparing a giant software like Linux , to some software you made yourself and say, Linux is cheating. (Wired comparing) What I meant is this guys are another lvl, best in the world.

      +Youuur Momaspussy Practice is easier to run faster. If you look at the video he had a pace to follow by following the bicycle plus he had the inside lane the entire time without jostling for spots. Honestly people like you have to stop keep criticizing great athletes like him and accusing them of doping and appreciate all the handwork they put in. He is not a dope until proven so.

      I had the same kind of workout (but at my level lol), with a difference that i was runnning th 800m at the end and after something like 5mn break, i made 2.03 while my record is 1.58, 5 seconds difference and Makhloufi started with the 800m, only few seconds from his record so it makes sense, although it's amazing it's manageable from an olympic champion, no question of doping here

    This man is doped.
    I don't think so.
    He looks like a run-machine because he has a concentration out of order.
    I apologize for writing so badly, I'm a starter of this language.

    I'm sorry as a runner to suspect this workout. It is sad now when you run amazing times that usually it has turned out to be doping. Does anyone think the Chinese women's records in the 90s are legit? They ran crazy fast times and then were done! Taoufik Makhloufi during this workout was on illegal drugs!
