You can actually set the ratchet handle flush against the turnbuckle by doing a half-pull of the release lever. A pair of brackets will come down around the stopper to prevent any chance of it coming loose.
i see some do it his way and others put it through center then back through the top, wonder which one is correct or doesnt matter. well it does cuase this one would be 1 less step.
I noticed when you feed it through the slot, you didn't loop it around before the ratchet grabbed the strap.The ratchet did it for you. I guess either way works?
Practicing your method yet you need to hold the straps together as you tighten it and what if you don't have any slack left to tie it down or into a knot.
Been having an arguement with a work mate over this technique. Thats how i so it. He likes to do some crazy shit where you cant get the damn thing off lol He still wont think he's wrong 🤣
