I didn't include in the video the mention of Igor Krutoy giving a standing ovation at the end - very cool!

It is Igors sister besides him. She persuaded Igor to go watch this .. and after D's performance the two started working together (some say that Igor skipped retirement to work with Dimash) .. Btw often Dimash just let a hand shake be the contract of doing a job together
Thanks for your reaction from a Danish Dear and Angel 🌷🇩🇰❤️
@@eliselippert9953The woman on his left is his wife. Not sure if the woman standing on his right is his daughter. Maybe someone else knows.
Sir Hairless, when can we see your react video of Dimash's Diva Song? If you want to see the original Diva Song, search the movie "The Fifth Element - Diva Song" and compare it to Dimash
@@dinofabieYES ❤❤❤
Wow you really do not miss anything....... SH your reactions are fantastic - super concise w/ gr8 pace but packed w/ relevant, interesting content - it's clear you put a lot of work into these reactions... Most Dimash fans see Hundreds of diff reactors but you are among the best b/c it's rare someone can break down the Vocals & the Chord Progressions & instrumentation - High level analysis worthy of Dimash's Virtuoso performances - Bravo!
The 'goat's trill' is part of traditional Turkic music, particularly in mourning songs. A tribute to the original singer from A Studio who passed away.
was that Dimash's idea to insert that part or the bands idea?
@@ordinaryvalleyDimash adds a lot to the arrangements from himself, sings as he feels the musical material, actually turning it into personal. In addition, his friend and music producer Erlan Bekchurin participates in many arrangements. But Dimash was self-willed from childhood and sang as his soul felt.
Also called a “caprino” for “tiny goat”.

@@user-id5yk6cv7v thank uu👌👌🙏
This was the video that convinced me Dimash is in fact a siren. Beautiful ethereal, slightly eerie high notes. Check. Doesn't need to breathe. Check. Absolutely mesmerizing. Check.
I always imagine a jet engine 😂
Jet engine in Adajio 😁
Do you mean siren as in siren’s song (mythological creatures) or an ambulance siren 😂 could be both
🤣@@SirHairless
Siren's song❤
For those who like information about Dimas' songs:
Sinful Passion - The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. Moreover, in the final part he added, with an oriental technique (from the Kazakhstan region). The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band name is A'Studio (Kazakh pop music group based in Russia, "Alma-Ata Studio", Almaty city). The dead singer (who Dimash was a fan of) left the band in 2000 and passed away in 2015 and his name was Batyrkhan Shukenov. The lyrics are by the poetess Ilia Reznik together with Baigaly Serkebayev, who is the long-haired keyboardist, who we see in the video that accompanies Dimash.
Hugs from Brazil!

Thank you for the tidbit of info!
Thanks for the info!
I am really enjoying your reactions to and explanations of Dimash's music. Thank you for taking this journey. As a Dear, watching someone else learn about Dimash is always a joy....especially if that someone is as knowledgeable as you are. I hope you continue to explore Dimash. Even after years of following him, I'm continually surprised by his innovations. Believe it or not, he's still a work-in-progress.
You summed up my thoughts exactly ,well put
Thanks!
I find your reaction and comments very educational. Since finding Dimash on UA-cam, I’ve learned so much about singing and the decisions made with the music accompaniment of Dimash’s singing. Thank you for your details around each performance of Dimash. He’s the only person I follow on UA-cam. He’s the best singer I’ve ever heard. I’m so happy to be alive to hear an amazing talent like Dimash.
🙌🙌
You're the first reactor I've seen out of hundreds who thought to watch A Studio's original video. This was a tribute performance by A Studio/Dimash for their original and beloved late singer. The Monteverdi/goat trill is a tribal/Middle Eastern mourning/funereal expression. Their percussionist now works with Dimash, perhaps most visibly in his SOS digital video (the "triangle man").
Love the percussion guy! He is fantastic! Dimash hires only the best❣️
And WHAT a percussionist... Absolutely not "just" the triangle man. 😍❤️
Thanks! I thought I recognised the percussionist as my first Dimash reaction was to SOS
That's why he's so special! ❤ Dimash is blending the styles, always singing with an Operatic flare.
Freddie Mercury always wanted to bring Opera to the masses but it never happened. I think Dimash will realize Freddie's dream one day. ❤
Freddie Mercury did bring an operatic flair with the song Bohemia Rhapsody. IiRC, Dimash mentioned this song as one of his favorites.
Dimash is definitely a gift from God🙏💜💜💜
Right!❤
That's what his last name means. I began to take it seriously.
Also stranger. Holds his breath for 20 seconds too and the goat yodelling to the next inhuman level.
Dimash never stops improving. Every time we think that we’ve seen it all, he surprises us again. It’s such a great joy to listen to him. 😊❤❤❤
And for me it’s extra fun, when someone as knowledgeable as you can explain how Dimash made me feel what I feel. 🥰
Your technical analysis of this song is amazing. And I love your voice as well. ❤
I really hope to see you discover more of his songs. ☺️
Cheers!
I do enjoy a knowledgeable reaction from a Classucal Musician. I’ve seen this video on its own hundreds of times. Appreciate you imparting musical know how though!
Love Dimash! Thank you. 🤩👍😍❤️🇨🇦
Thank you so very much for this incredible analysis.👍🤩
When I first heard Dimash 5 years ago, I knew nothing of music and had no interest beyond .. Do I like it or not?🙄😔🫤
Introduction to Dimash put my entire system into shock.
In panic, I struggled to understand everything I could about vocals in hopes of breaking free from this severe addiction.
In time, I developed acceptance for my fate and now seek knowledge to make up for a 60 year void in musical education.
I love your reaction style🌹👍
This is a really great song. Please consider "Our Love" from the Masked Singer in the future.
Thank-you, thank you.🦋
🥰🥰Hugs from a Canadian Dear🇨🇦

Western music is constructed on the tone and half-tone. In the folkloric passages in this performance and in "Stranger," Dimash demonstrates his level of comfort and his skill with quarter-tone music, readily found in Middle-Eastern and Indian music. I'm sure other cultures are utilizing quarter-tone music, but those are the two with which I am most familiar.
Very interesting point! Quarter-tones are a tricky area because of tuning and the frequencies. Equal temperament has a very interesting history - here's an example of music from the 16th century making use of a 24-tone octave which I think is quite cool ua-cam.com/video/0akGtDPVRxk/v-deo.html
@@SirHairless Thank you for the link. It has opened my ears to an even broader exploration of music. The harpsichord piece was dissonant on the first listen, but it made sense on the second time around.
cool 😃 thanks 😊
Awesome! Thank you!
I love your analyses of Dimashs performances! You're one of my top three reactors!
Cheers!!
I'm curious as to who your others are. 'The reactors I like most are "The Charismatic Voice", "The Daily Doug" and "The Fairy Voice Mother"
The Charismatic Voice…yes! ♥️My favourite reactor. 🏆 If you enjoy Elizabeth I bet you’ll also enjoy a friend of hers, Peter Barber who also does opera (bass) and is a reaction & analysis person in a very similar style like how Elizabeth structures her videos.
Haven’t heard of the other 2 reactors you mentioned but will check them out! Thanks! 😊
@@karenm5681 yes, I regularly watch Peter Barber.
As always, very detailed and professional approach.
Thank you, sir!
🙏🏽 Thanks
Sir Hairless, how incredibly knowledgeable you are! Such brilliant, profound analysis! Wow! BRAVO for you! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you so much!
Спасибо большое за реакцию. ДИМАШ Совершенство ❤
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Dimash is a messanger, I'm afraid we'll see it.
Здравствуйте! Вы очень тонко чувствуете музыку) Спасибо за реакцию, мы рады, что вы с нами❤️☺️
Спасибо ☺
Dimash’ performances can not be explained as simple ranges or techniques of the singing skill. His idea of performance in the message for the listeners, could be love, passion, peace…..and he uses his limitless arsenal of methods to deliver those messages. His aesthetics and skills of performance and a stage presence used for this purpose. It is why when people ask him how many octaves can he takes he is kind of surprised, because it is not what he wants listeners to get from his performances. Emotions are what he is looking for….❤
My underinformed opinion: he transitions from a yodel to a bleat as he increases the frequency of his glottal stops. I've listened to this passage hundreds of times.
Insane control.
I am enjoying your analysis very much!
Dimash is so creative with those modulations! I think I’ve heard him hold a note, full voice, for at least 22 seconds if not more! Amazing vocal talent!
Beautiful musical breakdown of another spectacular performance by Dimash.
Very much appreciated.
Thank you.
10:05 unbelievable voice that seems to come from a different dimension with incredible ease. Humility is indeed a quality that comes with angelic voices. Thank you!!
Thanks Rayna!!
Шикарная песня в исполнении Димаша и отличная реакция
Your face surprised is priceless...
Thank you for your reaction
Thanks!
I love watching people who actually know music reacting to this performance. You can literally see the brain glitching out because we get how insane this performance is! 😂 Great reaction, thank you for sharing.
🙏🎶
I love your reactions to Dimash. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you to you in Brazil!
Dimash❤ es fantástico y único en su estilo musical 🎤
It is not just range but CONTROL, God given talent and a pure love of music! I am American and have his CDs and can't understand most of his lyrics but DO NOT CARE, I love listening to him as much as any other artist ❤❤❤❤
I love watching your reactions to this dude you lose yourself in the music sometimes and bring yourself back to the video. Your passion and knowledge for music shines through.
I enjoy seeing your facial expressions with each Dimash reaction😊. I'm looking forward to seeing your reactions to Drunken Concubine/Diva Dance with chinese opera singer Li Yugang, and Dimash's cover of Ikanaide for the 2020 Tokyo Jazz Festival
Thank you! And for the recommendations - all are on my list
He definitely has a great Dimash face. LOL. At some point down the line we need to see his Geoff Castellucci face.
You give a master class ... of a master! thank you!!!
Bravo maestro Dimash ❤❤❤
Am I already in heaven? Omg.
Yes, the precision of that crazy long complex run at the end... { Had everyone on the edge of their seats - shouting at their screens; " Breath Man! BREATH!!!" 🤣 } I believe this was the first Dimash performance that Igor Krutoy saw and immediately during /after decided to compose for this unique voice. He has written new works and rearranged older works, both his own compositions and a number of others in collaboration with Dimash.
Dimash's voice and precision techniques are always impressive, but what I REALLY Enjoy is watching so many people from so many extremely DIVERSE cultures, ethnicities, backgrounds, age groups, and genre preferences etc.- sit up and 'react'.
Aside from the regular jaw-drops, the comment I hear so often is; " I didn't know I'd like THIS kind of music!" Dimash clearly has a number of motivations driving his creative choices, not the least of which are his anti-war and humanitarian messages, but his original goal of bringing classical / contemporay cross-over music 'to the masses' I think is really having 'cut-through'. 😅😊
Very detailed reactions and analysis ...love it. Next please react Stranger ❤
@@user-gq9tg8wr2t of course 😁❤️
Thank you! Stranger is on my list 👍🏽
The one who plays the piano Baigali Serkebayev wrote the music "Sinful Passion".
Dimash performed this song in memory of B.Shukenov, the soloist of the A studio group.
Please Next : "The Story of One Sky" Music Video 12 minutes.
Please, please react to Dimash sing Sinful Passion -2019 Moscow concert. The camera is on him all the time & for me he sings it more sensual. Thank you. Peace & Love. Ohio, USA
Thanks for reacting to this one! My favourite Dimash performance :)
Hermoso!!!Dimash el mejor del 🌎. Excelente ,maravilloso.

I adore Sinful Passion by Dimash! It's very cinema-like, dramatic in a good way. This arrangement suits very well Dimash's voice show-offs❤
Thank you so much for your lucid and well researched analysis. Great work on your part to explore our dear Dimash
I appreciate it, thanks
Really enjoyed thank you Re : the trill - when you eventually get to ‘The Story of One Sky’ you will hear some exceptional mastery of special singing effects from different areas of the world as Dimash does a vocalise section representing some of the world’s great religions. I recommend you watch the live concert video version rather than the official music video - : Almaty Concert / Part 3 from 25:35 mins. And the music is composed by Dimash.
I recommend seeing both the MV and the live versions. The live version strips away the visuals and storyline that demand more attention in the MV. The Story of One Sky is a masterpiece that took Dimash 3 years to complete.
@@BlueGreenMarble111agree! Watch the mv first to get the whole story, then the live version, which is breathtaking!
I love your reactions! So much good information! Thank you very much for sharing it with us! Hug from Brazil! ❤🇧🇷
☺
Dimash loved the song by A Studio and wanted to promote them to the world,
so he used them in this video.
I really appreciate your reaction videos because you provide the technical descriptions that help give us non-vocalists the song structure, the vocal techniques and a greater appreciation for the performance. Thank You🎉🎉🎉
Thanks!
Such an insightful and eloquent analysis of the amazing Dimash.
Thanks!
У него всегда идет диалог между мужчиной и женщиной
I can't help but rewatch that run at the end, it's just so fun
Thank you for the technical highlights. It's nice to learn new things from you
Pleasure is mine 👌🏽
That's when Igor Krutoy first heard Dimash, the man gaving him standing ovation. I'm here for more Dimash❤
Dimash 👌 maravilloso! Saludos
Dimash e Igor creando estas piezas 🎻🎺🎷🎤 para el, BELLLEZA, BELLEZA, es otro nivel !!!🎻👏👏👏👏🎻🇪🇸🇪🇸
Great! You are the only reaction person to give credit to the fact that the original song creator is playing the piano! Thank you for your intelligence!!!! Much appreciated.
Dimash is very respectful of the original artists without losing his ability and desire to melodically adapt for his personality. Cheers from Canada!
Hello,
Thank you Sir Hairless!
Thank you for showcasing Dimash!😍👍🌹💐❤️🇨🇦
😀
Dimash is committed to giving the audience in front of him a spectacle. He is very aware and appreciative of the fact that fans have gone to the trouble to be there. It's always the audience first with Dimash.
Yes, remember concert in the rain?
Thank you again for reacting to Dimash ❤️ As you can see, the amount of views and comments is amazing!!!! Yep 😊 we love our Dimash ❤️❤️❤️ Great reaction and will be watching you again soon !
Hello dear, simply unique your analysis about Dimash..we learned more about how difficult it is to sing like him..
React to "El A|mor em Ti" his composition.
Please react to unforgettable day of Dimash
Great reaction Sir. Thank you. Greetings from Portugal.
😄
As a mucisian you really should watch "River of Love" Totally instrumental...Dimash on the Dombra, and his friend and the composer of this beautiful piece on the keyboard. Dimash plays several instruments. Infact, his very first award was for piano, when he was 6. Then for a composition of his own, You will see why Dimash has a Master's Degree in Composition, watch "El Amor en Ti". Dimash composed this song for his Spanish speaking Dears. I am enjoying watching you discover Dimash.
And Dimash is also excellent showman who makes every performance an experience!
Thanks for this comment and the recommendations!
Love watching it with you, thank you!
Thank you for explaining how extraordinary Dimash is in the technique he sings, it helps for those of us who don't understand vocal music technique, it's something extraordinarily great. I hope you can react to Dimash again with other songs, you can check Dimash's appearance at The Singer 2017 _ Opera 2, Adagio, Confesa+ Diva Dance, All by Myself etc, and many others... thanks for reaction Bro... Greeting from Indonesian Dears ❤️
DIMASH QUDAIBERGEN 🔥🤟😎
🙏
Dimash comes also with Diana Ankudinova in the package. 😂 Please listen Rechenka. After the contest where she sang Rechenka Igor Krutoy brought her in Moscow with her mother in order to have her close. She was 14 years of age. So, Diana is a pupil of Igor. He can not retire with such talents around him, not only Dimash.
Hi, my compliments, you are an expert and great reactor, I always look forward to your insightful and intelligent comments.

Grazie!
I am a wild Dimash fan. You say a "Wow" performance by him. I say a "Wow" reaction by you. The amount of "right on" information from you is very educational and shows a huge musical and performance understanding on your part. Kudos!
Невероватни Димаш ! ❤❤❤❤❤
Somewhere in the hundreds of comments you may already have learned that the guy in the white shirt at the end, starting the standing ovation, is Russian composer Igor Krutoy. He came out of retirement after this to work with Dimash, which is why we have Stranger, Ave Maria, Ogni PIetra, and all those other wonderful collaborations.
I really like the cello and/or bassoon accompanying Dimash. Something about those sounds really compliment his voice.
Great reaction==love the analysis!
Yes, I included it in my pinned comment instead of the video! So cool to see 👌

All the videos on his channel have English subtitles and many other languages.

This performance was a tribute to the guitarist in the band who passed, he was so humble in his speech at the end.
