He has said in an interview in the past that he is a huge Beatles fan and in particular John Lennon. This song is his inspiration from John Lennon's #9 Dream, and you can certainly hear the similarities.
some of ozzys best songs that you havent covered: miracle man, breakin all the rules, i dont know, flying high again, over the mountain, diary of a madman, hellraiser, now you see it, center of eternity, one up the b side, spiders, shot in the dark, road to nowhere, mr. tinkertrain, perry mason
Absolutely !! With Miracle Man he needs to know the "Jimmy Swaggart /Ozzy's story". I Hope he will watch the official video, when you know the story it's fucking funny.
Can't say I am a huge fan of Shot in the Dark. Don't get me wrong I am not hating on it and wore out a cassette listening to it and recommend it as well, but Killer of Giants from the same album is very under rated and under played.
@@KathyTerpstra-zf6soActually a beautiful day. Stop allowing criminals to control you and actually study fact. And I’m not some Trumper, but the alternative was pure poison. Listen to what Malcolm X and Thomas Sowell have said about the Democratic Party, as a start. All the best to you and yours. Always.
Love this one by Ozzy. I am also a dreamer. We also heard John Lennon say recently that he is also just a dreamer. Two legends dreaming a similar dream.
Listen to some of his songs, he’s a pretty nice guy that’s concerned about war, people, the environment. He wasn’t just a show. I felt the same way as you when I really started to listen to the words. I was like, what the heck man, he’s a normal person that really is a good guy and wants the best life for everyone.
I'm very proud to say that I helped build the wah peddle that was used by Zakk on the album. I might be biased but this is one of my favorite Ozzy tunes because of his vocals and lyrics, especially later in his life. Thanks so much for this reaction, you're such an appreciative fan.
Ozzy has one of those voices that no matter what he is singing, you can pick it out. Love me some Ozzy!!!! I had the pleasure of seeing Bark at the moon, and many others.
This is the only artist I lost the ability to speak back when I was doing event security backstage in the 80s and 90s. My absolute favorite singer. Going back to Black Sabbath in my really impressionable years. Get him to 100k he deserves it really a cool kid. God bless you and yours.
Since you liked Ozzy's "No More Tears" so much, if you are in the mood for something that you definitely wouldn't expect....... There's a cover of No More Tears done by a bunch of students from O'keefe Music Foundation that blows everyone away.
I found my wife late in life, she was very middle of the road on music but this is the song that changed all that. When the kids found out she liked Ozzy her cool factor increased 10 fold.
I was going to ask you to listen to this song. But I didn't know if it would be hard enough for you. It's one of my favorite songs by him. A positive message is always a good thing, especially now.
Just enjoy the voice and meaning of the song!!!! That’s all we need!!!!! He and John Lennon are very much alike. The man’s voice is definitely special at any age!!!! 😎🍸
You really need to check out some of Zakk Wylds band Black Label Society. He has tons of great songs himself and he is the singer. I know I've asked you several times but I will keep on until you do. Lol. I know you want be disappointed. My favorite is Stillborn . My best friend and band mate from our teenage years passed away and that was his favorite song. It's been special to me ever since. He's been gone for 14 years now. I enjoy your channel.
The songs that mean the most are the one that you can tell where you where when they release it. Memories of this song is so bright to me. 👌 Grandfather of metal music , Ozzy diserve a great respect 🤟
***IRON MAN*** hard OZZY you can's skip! Also ***WAR PIGS*** is another hard one. Black Sabbath way back days. :) Let's go get that 100k. Ozzy CAN do it.
@edw1045 Oh, I believe he'll get well into Ozzy's catalog. Don't worry. 😉 There are a lot of hits and other great songs over his career - plenty to keep Declan doing one a week for months on end if he wanted to.
Isn't it cool to discover that one of your favored artists is not just a one trick pony? Ozzy's voice is one of those that can roam around in different genres. Even metal heads recognize things such as environmental abuses and other issues that effect us all.
Ozzy is the GOAT!!! You need "Desire" or my personal fave from Bark at the Moon "Now You See it, Now you don't" 2002 remaster. Both are big time bangers
My favorite Ozzy songs which you have not reviewed… Diary of a Madman (some of the best guitar work you’ve ever heard) Over the Mountain Mr. Tinkertrain Waiting for Darkness I Don’t Wanna Stop Flying High Again
Molly is an excellent choice. I see you like Ozzy Osborn a lot, you play him a lot. He's a unique guy voice music image. Love him. Thank you!💝💝💝 But don't forget about Prince from the 1985 concert where he plays a 15 minute solo on two guitars. You haven't discovered him yet. He's kind of a god of electric guitar playing. Very beautiful. This particular concert, “Prince and The Revolution - Purple Rain (Live in Syracuse, March 30, 1985),” you'll be rewatching it forever. Thank you, darling.💓💓💓 67 million views on the prince video.🥰
What a band, Zakk Wylde, Robert from Metallica and Mike Bordin from Faith No More. Check out Faith No More, thats another fantastic band. Their song Epic is a good start point. Midlife Crisis or Small Victory also.
So I can honestly say that apart from Ozzy's "duet" with Post Malone, I have never listened to Ozzy Osbourne...I thought he was too hard for me...but I really liked this song...he has a soft side...who knew??
You should check out the song Changes. You could do the original and then the duet he did with his daughter Kelly Osbourne. The original is when he was with Black Sabbath
You have no idea how much I enjoyed the way you reacted, not only this time but everytime. I'm an old 58 yrs old caldron and I'm not easy to please. Don't change anything, it's perfect! 🇨🇦 ✌️😁
I like this one because it really shows how diverse Ozzy is. His voice is very pretty when he slows it down. He said this is his version of John Lennon's Imagine. If you want to hear another slower song, listen to Changes with his daughter Kelly. It's a gorgeous song.
Been a fan of Ozzy/Black Sabbath since I was a child in the 70s, and absolutely NO doubt this is my favorite song of his. This song is just SO amazing and heartwarming......
One of Robert Trujillo's first bands was Suicidal Tendencies. Fun fact Suicidals vocalist Mike Muir, has a brother Jim Muir. Jim founded Dogtown Skates as in the movie Lords of Dogtown. Dogtown was a community in Santa Monica, CA. This place and time were the birthplace of skateboarding as we know it today. More fun fact... My sister was one of Dogtowns first employees. Which was great for me because I got all sorts of merchandise. Boards, shirts, Bones wheels, and stickers.
I had never heard this song either! I really like it though. I also wanted to say thank you. Your song reactions keep me smiling. I may not like every song but I like that all the songs are from different time periods - different genres from rap, metal, pop and everything in between. Don't change a thing. ☮
Every so often "heavy" musicians do ballads. This is one of those times. In its own right, it's a wonderful song, even if it's not "classic" Ozzy. On the last ballad you reacted to I'm pretty sure I recommended this.
Ozzy has been singing stuff like this since the beginning "Black Sabbath - Changes" "Black Sabbath - Solitude" "Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan" "Black Sabbath - Zeitgeist" Changes was just as popular as Sweet Leaf.... Guys have Girlfriends
Ozzy was a huge Beatles fan as a kid. This may be an articulation of that admiration. The structure feels very John Lennon
My thoughts exactly, he worshipped them as a teen, lol.
He has said in an interview in the past that he is a huge Beatles fan and in particular John Lennon. This song is his inspiration from John Lennon's #9 Dream, and you can certainly hear the similarities.
That's what I was thinking - sounds like the Beatles.
Is.

@@robertmwilliams i agree
This is one of my favourite Ozzy solo songs. Top 5 probably. It’s so well written and is beautifully poignant.
Check out "over the mountain" "I don't know " "flying high again" and "bark at the moon" 🤘🔥🎶
He's already done the latter.
Diary of a Madman, Back on Earth, Revelation Mother Earth...The list is long. I agree with your choice of songs tho!! ✌️😉
Those are literally my three favorites!
Spiders!
Yes, these are all 🔥
The world needs to hear this song today.
It is a tough day if you're in the US
I was thinking the same thing. Made me teary
I'm right there as well.
@@KathyTerpstra-zf6soActually a beautiful day. Stop allowing criminals to control you and actually study fact. And I’m not some Trumper, but the alternative was pure poison. The United States of America is not the same thing as the world😂
I have never noticed before, but I think this is a nod to “imagine” . What a beautiful tribute.
Check out Ozzy’s Lennon cover of “How”. It’s great
That makes sense. Ozzy always said he was a huge Beatles fan. Especially John Lennon.
Love this one by Ozzy. I am also a dreamer. We also heard John Lennon say recently that he is also just a dreamer. Two legends dreaming a similar dream.
John Lennon’s “#9 Dream” inspired Ozzy to write “Dreamer”.🙏😊
Flying High Again and Mr. Crowley.
Met Ozzy at his book signing. Shook his hand and got a picture. So thankful for him and his music.
Can’t kill rock in roll , killer of giants
Ozzy's tribute to John Lennon's sound, he's a HUGE Beatles fan! The lyrics are even MORE relatable TODAY in 2024 going into 2025!!!
First time I saw OZZY , June 1 1984 ,Bark at the Moon tour, I was 16. Changed my life....
saw that too MOTLEY CRUE opened on the SHOUT AT THE DEVIL tour so good
I'm very proud to say that I helped build the wah peddle that was used by Zakk on the album. I might be biased but this is one of my favorite Ozzy tunes because of his vocals and lyrics, especially later in his life. Thanks so much for this reaction, you're such an appreciative fan.
ozzy can sing anything well....he is the best singer soft hard and anything in between....love it
If you like this song you will really dig Goodbye to Romance.
True!!❤
and Old LA Tonight
I mean, if that chorus don't give u goose bumps, then nothing will.
Ozzy has one of those voices that no matter what he is singing, you can pick it out. Love me some Ozzy!!!! I had the pleasure of seeing Bark at the moon, and many others.
Just love Ozzy.

Ozzy has made some of the most beautiful ballads ever made. They never get enough air time.
I Love Ozzy and I Love this song. Cool that you played it! ❤
I found my wife late in life, she was very middle of the road on music but this is the song that changed all that. When the kids found out she liked Ozzy her cool factor increased 10 fold.
Oh yes, love the "heavy"!! Diary of a Madman & Blizzard of Ozz albums provide🤘 Ultimate Sin was great too, Shot in the Dark 🤘
I like how you said you're hearing a more "down to earth" Ozzy Osbourne, which is fitting since the song is from the album "Down to Earth."
I was going to ask you to listen to this song. But I didn't know if it would be hard enough for you. It's one of my favorite songs by him. A positive message is always a good thing, especially now.
@MollyBoy TV I suggested on another reaction that you did that you need to listen to Jackyl song Lumberjack. I guarantee that you will be surprised.
This is the sound of a sober Ozzy in touch with his higher power, don’t care what it is, but he’s talking about it!
Just enjoy the voice and meaning of the song!!!! That’s all we need!!!!! He and John Lennon are very much alike. The man’s voice is definitely special at any age!!!! 😎🍸
Another mellow one by Ozzy is "Mamma I'm coming home"
I really like his softer stuff, his voice is just incredible, and you hear his heart in it.
I told my hubby I watch you because I love the way you sound and now I think I figured out it's because you do sound just like OZZY!

Ozzy can do anything he wants. ❤

" Flying High Again"
"Shot In the Dark" next.
I agree
Diary of a madman!!
next LITA FORD & OZZY OSBOURNE - CLOSE YOUR EYES FOREVER
💯%

I'm with you, Mollyboy. Ozzie has a fantastic voice!
he does the Birmingham thing, similar to Jeff Lynne
Perry Mason, Hellraiser, and I don’t want to stop. Some more of Ozzy’s bangers
Goodbye to Romance is a slow song too. Love it! Ozzie has a very distinctive voice. You can’t get it wrong!

Goodbye to Romance is like this and is really good.
Ozzy got some powerful ballads inc. Old L.A. Tonight, Goodbye To Romance, Road To Nowhere etc
🇺🇲 I absolutely love ALL of OZZY's vibes‼️🔥

Diary of a madman.
Ozzy can do emotional ballads just as well as the heavy stuff. So Tired is another beautiful song in the softer vein
Btw, on the soft side of Ozzy, check my Little Man, it is a song for his son, as a father of another little man this song always gets me emotional.
Ozzy has been singing stuff like this since the beginning "Black Sabbath - Changes" "Black Sabbath - Solitude" "Black Sabbath - Planet Caravan" "Black Sabbath - Zeitgeist"
Changes was just as popular as Sweet Leaf.... Guys have Girlfriends
Robert Trujillo was with Ozzy before Metallica and in a band called Suicidal Tendencies before that.
U should try Into the mystic by Van Morrison !
