Everytime you listen to Ozzy remember that he is one of the men that invented the genre metal and how amazingly f-ing huge that is. And that he is the prince of darkness!!! The day the world loses this man you will see a sorrow that the world has never seen. Ozzy is a living legend, his voice and legacy can not be compared. He has the whole world of metal music on his shoulders. The world of music will NEVER again see a man like OZZY. Not even people that worship this man understand how legendary he is, me included!
Ozzy is a massive Beatles fan, and you can hear the parallels musically with this song and the John Lennon song Imagine, all the way down to the verse where he sings "It would be nice if we could live as one". In an interview he mentioned that he would like the Beatles song "In My Life" played at his funeral. If you read the lyrics, I can see why. It's a very fitting song.
@@MrLawDawg Ozzy did a cool cover of "How" as well for Amnesty I believe. There´s a very sweet video to it where Ozzy pays tribute to Lennon in a way, I´m not gonna giveaway how.
In addition to what you mentioned, Lennon sings "You may say I´m a dreamer, but I´m not the only one". There´s a connection there as well. Also with how the piano is played.
If you're getting into Ozzy then you HAVE to try "Mama, I'm Coming Home" and his duet with Lita Ford, "Close My Eyes Forever" before you move on to the heavier stuff like "No More Tears" and "Crazy Train"
I grew up listening to his earlier stuff. He had a dark side, battled inner demons, something many of us related to as we fought our way through this life. I think he helped some of us reconcile the life battles we endured.
Recently on The Osbourne podcast Sharon was talking about decorating their UK mansion and all he cared about was "his room" as they call it, where he paints and he wanted to make sure it was bright, sunny and cheerful....my heart was broken....hahaha but it shows we all have a lot of sides and we go through changes.
I've heard this song 100s of times. This is the first time I've actually listened to the words ......now I'm sad. I'm sad because we aren't going to have Ozzy much longer. his health is declining rapidly, he has Parkinson's disease.
I saw him live some years ago when he came to Sweden for what was supposed to be a Black Sabbath tour. He could barely move, but that voice... That voice was still just as powerful as ever. "Mama I'm coming home" is a _must_ listen! 🥰
Ozzy is a baby boomer with those ideals: love thy neighbor, love the Earth, etc. Yes, don't judge a book by its cover! Ozzy's favorite song is John Lennon's "Imagine." That says a lot about the man himself!
My mum and Ozzy were born in the same place. He's a nice man that has had so many drugs through his years that would end most lives 1000 times over. Brilliant song choice flower!
Ozzy is an amazing lyricist. When you start actually listening to his lyrics you realise how many layers there are to this man. And they run deep. The first two albums are definitely worth listening to, especially revelation mother earth and diary of a madman.
One of Ozzy's first bands was actually called Mother Earth. He is a very intellectual person and a visionary. People just like to cut him down because he's different and his drug problems - which honestly, says more about them than him.
Many a year ago. Lol. When I was in my teens, a teenager "offed himself " and his parents tried to sue Ozzy, blaming the song suicide solution. I don't know what they heard, but it saved my life. Wait til tomorrow.
Ozzmosis is killer. Ozzy asked what’s is favorite song, or album, replied, any of the latter Beatles, A Day In The Life. People ask what’s the favorite album I’ve done. I haven’t made my Sgt. Pepper album yet. Inference is pretty clear.
"So tired" is another slower Ozzy song .....the piano is so beautiful in that song. The guiatarist in this song " Dreamer " is Zac Wylde he has own band now called Black label society
@@brittreacts loved your reaction to Ozzy...he's great...as a side note your girl Leanne Rimes is going to be a coach on The Voice Australia 2024 which starts in August...I thought you would want to know...Karl from eastern Canada
One of my favourite songs from Ozzy’s solo career came out in 2010 and is largely unknown. “Life Won’t Wait”. One of the best messages in a song you’ll ever hear.
Seen Ozzy many times. His voice never fails on live situations. Love the guy. And when back in the days in Black Sabbath when they were accused to be satan worshippers. They all wore Ozzys fathers made crosses on their necks. And he still wears it today.
I love that 'The Prince of Darkness' has a softer side... I think you would like: 'Mama I'm Coming Home' 'Goodbye to Romance' 'Changes (when he was Black Sabbath)' 'Close My Eyes Forever (w/ Lita Ford)' 'Time After Time' 'Road to Nowhere' - just to name a few of his ballads...
Ozzy has a lot of good messages in his songs. He had an excellent voice and very much loves his fans. He has gotten a lot of young bands many opportunities to succeed. And many have. He is a decent man.
My all time favorite person I'm a huge fan . He has through the years saved me from death. Ozzy s daughter Kelly born on my Birthday a wonderful gift. Jack,Amy,and Sharon all the love energies of the universe I pray to you all . Ozzy Osbourne the real King... Love you Sir ❤
His voice is actually beautiful, listen to his duet with his daughter Kelly & also Lita Ford. He also did a Christmas song with Jessica Simpson that’ll have you cracking up.
OZZY🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼 He’s my favorite! I’ve loved him since the 1970’s! I’m a 62 year old woman and NOTHING is better than that voice! Black Sabbath and Ozzy as solo artist has the most beautiful lyrics tin every song. War Pigs is a good one that speaks to today even tho it came out waaaaay back in the day. My absolute favorite is Fairies Wear Boots (kinda funny song about a bad “trip” drugs ya know, there’s probably not a drug in the world that Ozzy hasn’t done! And btw Aquaman is Zak Wild (might spell it with a y) and he said in an interview he’s a “Soldier of Christ.” He’s a beautiful person and so is Ozzy.
I have seen Ozzy live more than any other artist between him solo and with Black Sabbath mostly because I went to Ozzfest every year from 1996- 2002, and you are right he is very childlike when he performs especially you can tell there's nothing that gives him more joy than performing. I also got to meet the man at the Glass house in Pomona.
I love this song. People often judge Ozzy harshly. I think he really is a good person who’s done a lot of things he’s regretted. I can relate because so have I
Dear B.R. Your ability to express your thoughts and feelings about artists is so wonderful, with regards to Ozzy Osborn, if you have time search the interview between, Ozzy on the Terry Wogan show and you will see how right you are about Ozzy, actually a seemingly wonderful caring person with a gift to express himself through his craft! P.S. I enjoy your reactions very much, especially the Elvis A. Presley reactions, you yourself seem quite soulful?! Please keep doing what you do, TMG 👍
You should check out Ozzy’s newer song “Ordinary Man”. The music video reflects and shows a journey through Ozzy’s life and it’s so touching and heartfelt
I cannot confirm this, but the persona from his music is not really who he is, because I had heard that he and Sharon were in New York City when 9/11 happened and they found the nearest church to go and pray. Again, I can't confirm it but that is what I heard.
Britt Besides the Osbournes on MTV, Ozzy and his son, Jack also had another "reality show" has both of them traveling in a custom van or motorhome across USA.
Thank you for reacting to this video thank you very much I'm going to be honest with you I'm breaking down in tears on this one he was such a good man if you so much pal I miss you😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤
You really should react to Black Sabbath to get the full Ozzy. So many great ones to choose from. Anything from "We sold our soul for rock and roll". Or the duet with Ozzy and Lemmy "Ain't no nice guy after all" or the duet with Lita Ford "Close my Eyes forever"
Listen to Black Sabbath She's Gone . You would never expect it from Sabbath . Also Goodbye To Romance from Ozzy's solo days. Live from Tribute album recommend, with Randy Rhoads on guitar.
I would like to make you a suggestion to react to after 4 years of not singing with her incurable illness Céline Dion has finally perform this weekend for the olympic in Paris it was just out of this world moment in Time she was impérial its literaly going viral on UA-cam could you react to her live performance its really worth it she did kost her magnificent voice just wooooow wooooow wooooow ❤️
When the "prince of darkness" tells you to "cut the shit, treat the earth and each other better", you know it's getting bad. And this is an old song. It's so much worse now.

I've never been much of an Ozzy fan only because I just never really listened to him. This song is making me a fan!!!
He's put out a lot of beautiful uplifting songs. Most people misunderstand him.
I have been saying this since 1982.@stephensmith1307

Ozzy did a cover of that song. I love it.
that was my 1st thought...it's Ozzy's version of Imagine. Excellent comment and hopefully John is proud of him.
The funny thing is that JL was an Ahole.

And the funny thing is that Crazy Train gets thought of as some sort of crazy rock anthem, but the message is very similar.
For more of Ozzy's softer side try Changes from his Black Sabbath days and Goodbye to Romance from his first solo album
***MAMA I'M COMING HOME*** is a great ballad written about his wife Sharon (he calls her Mama)
Do close your eyes forever Ozzy and Lita Ford. You will love it. ❤
This song came out right after 911 and I remember him talking about it in that context.
It's crazy to think that this October marks 23 years since this song was released.
It hasn't had the radio play it deserves to make a difference, just like similar songs from the 60's and the punk songs in the 70's.

Ozzy Osbourne - Crazy Train 🤪 🚂
Ozzy's guitarist has a band, Black Label Society, that has NO PLAY on reaction channels. That's a great rabbit hole. Crushing guitar riffs!

Ozzy doesn't write his own lyrics, Geezer Butler wrote his Sabbath lyrics, Bob Daisley wrote the lyrics on his first 5 solo albums.
What’s really sad about this song.
Is it came out in 2001. Over 20 years ago. Still as relevant today as it was then.
Yep..could have dropped today.
😣

Rock on Ozzy 🤘🤘

Ozzy has always been viewed as a villainous person but in reality his music is brilliant and packed full of beautiful uplifting lyrics.
Great reaction...Ozzy is an Icon,a Trailblazer a true Legend....seen him 6 times live, twice with Black Sabbath and 4 times solo
He wrote and released it one month after 9/11. It’s his version of John Lennon’s IMAGINE. The original video is really beautiful.
Mama I'm Coming Home is also very beautiful song from Ozzy.

BEST line!!!
He cusses like a sailor and is known to be the Prince of darkness. In truth he’s a religious man and humble.

Ozzy truly has a unique voice. You know it's him immediately when you hear his music. I echo others who say that he is an iconic treasue ❤❤❤
I think this going on my funeral playlist.
