    great idea!! but I wouldnt use vaseline, its made of petroleum ... soo same like plastic? I think coconut oil would work :)

    I'm LOVING these homemade videos... we should be encouraging young girls to make their own cosmetics as the chemicals in shop makeup is extremely bad for their body, not to forget the huge amounts of waste

    you could also mix cocoa powder and coconut oil, it makes a dark brown mascara without the making of polycyclic aromatic hydocarbons.

    A really lovely alternative to vaseline is Lush's "ultrabalm", it comes in a tin, only has three ingredients and isn't tested on animals! xx

    Beside using petroleum jelly which I think is a very bad idea (you wanna put this close to your eyes? Really?) Making out a homemade mascara recipe is too risky as it is very to your eyes. Please don't take risk. It reminds me of that french youtuber that shared her recipe of a cinnamon face mask. Result? It went well for her. It didn't go so well for the ones that got their face burn.

    How long does it take to get dry... and does it even dry? looks like something that will smudge in no time to me

    Love this thank you! I went for Aloe from my plant instead of gasoline but the burnt almonds... Never would have thought of this.
