Awesome set up! You guys have a lot of good ideas as well thank you..
So many great ideas here. Plus I love your aesthetic sensibilities. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks so much! 😊. Happy it gave you some ideas. Thank you for your comment!
Love everything about that setup! Especially the “porch” area! You did great with matching everything!
Thank you! We tried to coordinate everything but at the same time have quality gear. We very happy how it all came together
I can’t wait to see more travels from you guys! I really enjoy seeing the personal touches to the trailer.
Thanks for the walk through!
Thanks so much! We’re loving the trailer and can’t wait to show some of our next adventures! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Really like that trailer! One of the best interiors I’ve seen. Thanks for sharing.
Love all the organization of the kitchen. All those little boxes and cubes seem to fit so well. I love that. Thank you for the video.
Yes that's one of Aimee's favorite parts. She loves organization. Thanks for commenting, it really helps the channel.
Great walk around. I love your little lights inside! So warm!
Yes! Aimee has made it very cozy for us. It's the area she loves most about the trailer. She hated how a lot of the other off road trailers all felt like coffins inside and very utilitarian.
Yay! Not too many walkarounds for this trailer yet, so THANK YOU for the video! really nice walkthrough. great video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank so much!
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you and thank you for commenting.
Wow! You guys did an awesome job outfitting that trailer!
Thanks so much! We're loving it! It checks all the boxes for us!
Thanks for the walk around. That is quite the rig! Looks like you all have it dialed in quite well.
Thanks so much! It all works quite well for us. But we always find ourselves tweaking things to make it even better. There's a lot of fun it that for us.
Nice walk around you two
Thank you so much! Glad you liked it and hopes it helps!
Nice setup!
Thank you! We are absolutely loving it!
I love our cozy little home away from home!
So glad you do!
The privacy tent is amazing! I haven’t seen that one before. Love the trailer too!
It hasn't been out to long. Fairly new! We love it.
Nice setup and rig! Your Wrangler matches great with it! Great video!
Thank you! We tried to match it up the best we could. We love it!
A really nice layout and setup! Looking forward to seeing it put to use.
Thanks so much! Be on the look out for another video of this trip and it being put to work.
Yeah, that didn't look like Florida😉 @@GetOverItOutdoors
Great video!! Looks like some fun friends you had tagging along this time!😉
The funnest friends for sure! Can’t wait for next time. Thank you! Your cuz is a pro!
Absolutely love what you’ve done to the inside with the fun duvet and the beading wrapping the ceiling with I think what are Polaroids! Great video!
Thank you so much! Aimee wanted that cozy homey feel in the cabin. She wanted to get away from the utilitarian/cold feel. Yes the Polaroids are the spots we’ve camped at with the Escapod.
Great setup!
Thank you and thanks for commenting
Just subbed to your channel!
Appreciate that.
Nice but the price on one of these things just doesn’t make any sense. Too rich for my blood, I guess.
Like I've said before very nice setup, most of the side showers I've seen don't go all the way to the ground, I like the fact that yours does. Looking forward to the next spot you two find.
We love it! And yes the sides can be lowered or raised, according to how high off the ground it is. They roll up and slip into the channel so you can always adjust for it to touch the ground or raised off the ground as you prefer.
It looks pretty chilly there. Hope it kept you warm at night. We have a Truma combi in our trailer too.
OH YES IT WAS!!! The temps were in the 20's every night and never hit 40 the 4days we were in the area.
Any chance you could share a link of the mirror you have in the interior cupboard?
Loved the video. What kind of power setup do you have in the trailer.
Thank You! We optioned for the 200 amp/hr Lithium and 2000 watt inverter. The standard is 100amp/hr. Thanks for the question.
Great video! Thanks for doing this. What did you do for your leveling system and chocking? Do you chock both sides or do those stabilizers make it so you don't need to?
Also, What is your system for campground camping when you have shore power? Do you have anything to protect your electric? Have you ran the AC unit while boondocking? Just the fan maybe to save on power?
We just some basic leveling blocks found on Amazon. I don’t have wheel chalks and usually always leave hooked up to our Jeep. I will probably look at getting some soon though.
Thanks for taking us through a spin around this trailer. They are certainly pretty impressive teardrops. We hit that subscribe and looking forward to see the adventures you take in this home away from home! We have a similar set-up Jeep and Teardrop, how does the trailer pull?
Thanks so much. Really appreciate you subbing and we subbed right back. We always enjoy watching other teardrop adventurers. It’s pulls even better than I thought. Tracks straight as arrow and don’t even know it’s really there, on or off-road! Loving it so far.
You both did a great job of fitting all of your essentials in there and making it look very comfortable and welcoming! We currently have a Topo 2 being built and chose not to purchase the recommended refrigerator, we already have an Iceco VL45 proS and are planning on using it in our Escapod as you have, did you have to do anything besides removing the corner caps of the refrigerator to make it fit in the opening on the factory slider?
Thanks so much for watching. No the corner caps are all that had to be done to get it to fit. Hope you enjoy your new Topo2. We love ours and are making final plans for our next big trip.
Great video with the walkaround -- as usual. Glad to hear the heater was as good as your A/C for Florida. Where are your next adventures?
Yes the heater worked wonderfully and just sipped the propane. 4 nights of heat and only used 1.2 gallons. Your girl is a natural and star of these videos. So far it’s been viewed more than any video we’ve done in the same amount of time.
This looks really cool. Question: is there a covering for the stargazer window if you don't want light getting in?
Yes there is. There’s a blackout shade that mounts magnetically to the inside of the window frame
Wow! That is quite the trailer and setup! Another great video. Are you doing another trail video of this trip?
Thanks so much! Yes there will be another video of our time out on the trails coming soon. Thank you for commenting!
Amazing views! Are there any similar scenic, top-of-the-hill locations on the east coast that you can recommend?
We done quite a bit of searching and haven’t found anything that compares to out West. The closest we’ve come to a bluff line/cliff edge campsite is along Old 105 that runs along the Linville Gorge. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Loved the walk around. Is that shower tent able to be divided into 2 cubes or is it all open?
Yes it can be divided down the middle. One side we use for showering and the other side we use for the dry/potty room. Thanks for commenting and watching.
Hey Jason and Amy, Love your walkthrough and setup. Can you please share links and sizes for the various storage baskets? Much better than shoving each topo2 cubby with stuff.
Hello John, do you have a Topo2? The brown wood boxes I made myself and the other woven baskets we picked up at HomeGoods and TJ Maxx. Would you like the sizes of the wooden boxes I made or the woven baskets or both. Yes, we do love that everything is in a box or basket that can be pulled out completely as opposed to pulling out each and every piece in a cubby to reach the one thing that may be in the back.
Thank you for sharing! Where are you at? That sounds like a pretty substantial river or creek in the background!
We’re in the Blue Ridge WMA in GA. Yes there was a beautiful creek flowing behind us. It was wonderful to listen to by the campfire.
Nice trailer! Does it have a water tank and size?
Thanks a lot! Yes it has a 20 gallon water tank and the water heater hold about a gallon so we have about 21 gallons total.
I love the stargazer window but does it leak or is there condensation in the winter? I suspect that the window could be a point where problems happen? Also, I noticed your friend's Defender at 15:08. Would they say that it's been reliable? I love Defenders but I heard they are nightmares and break constantly, sometimes when brand-new. Oh, my other question is about your A/C. I've been reading other reviews and apparently you can't run it all night when it's hot, perhaps a maximum of a few hours only. Is this true? Are you still glad you got the A/C or do you prefer the simplicity of a fan?
We absolutely love the stargazer window and had no problems with it at all. There is a large flanged automotive link seal all the way around the opening. I don’t how water could ever make it over that seal. Condensation-we have not noticed any. On cold night with the heat on the upper vents blow warm dry air across the window and eliminates any moisture that may occur. So far so good. Our Friends defender so far has been problem free. I ask them everytime I see them because I too have heard about them begin an endless string of problems. They had theirs almost 2 yrs. The A/C it has always gotten us through the night on battery. For us it has taken them down to between 25-35% battery left. We have not yet run it in the full heat of a Florida August night yet so an update may be coming. We normally set the thermostat at 72 and the fan on 3 and that’s great for us. Hopes this provides some answers. Thanks for watching and commenting.
@@GetOverItOutdoors Well thank you for answering all of my questions! So nice of you. Hmm... one night of A/C and it drained the battery down to 25-30%? Yikes, doesn't sound good BUT I haven't lived with it like you have. On hot, humid Florida nights, no fan is going to help. It will be great when you do an update. There have been other portable A/Cs that have come to market that could be used with your trailer. I wonder if they would be a better option for most people. I live in the Northeast so most of the time, an A/C wouldn't be needed but traveling around the country would be a different story.
Just curious, I know these trailers are made in Utah. Did you look into the Bean trailers as well? If so, what made you decide to buy this over the Bean?
Absolutely love your set up...by the way, is the ICECO you're using the VL60?
Thanks so much! It’s the smaller VL45 ProS.
Where did you get the lanterns they are very pretty! Is Claymore the brand?
Yes Claymore is the brand. I got them from bigtentoutdoors.com. The lantern name is Cabin. Hope this helps. We love them. Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment.
Get video on the trailer. Can you tell me where you got the ammo can style fire pit?
It’s called a Lava Box. Fireanytime.com is the website. Ours is the Hekla Thank you for watching.
When can we see some more videos of it on the trail? Btw it looks pretty cold wherever you are.
Hopefully soon! We didn’t pull it on many trails on this trip. Basically setup a base camp and then ventured out from there in the Jeep
I like the fiberglass body as long as you don't puncture a hole in it offroad, escapod has clean up all exterior add on it's side but i do like the look of some add on accessories, also cedar ridge camper makes a one piece camper that has the spare tire mounted over wheel fender xtra large entry doors a pull out kitchen no ac mounted only hole that you can run a portable ac hose to , not a bad trailer , starting at 33k that can put you over 40k ouch , but there are so many high end offroad campers to choose from arb earth camper really nice 49k wow it has so much to offer i love to own it but the main question is on any offroad trailers how often are you going to use to justify the cost , with today's jeep wrangler, forc bronco, land rover defender to just name a few 50k & up on top of a offroad camper how can anyone afford it without staying broke, one way is to rent out you trailer or start a business renting offroad trailers and stll have the same experience as other people pay for it , warren buffet said buying a private jet are very stupid purchase so he own a private jet company can go anytime he wants while his customers pays the jets off i do really like the escapod trailer but i like the arb a little more but for not im building out my Mercedes Benz sprinter van and using my rooftop tent on my offroad vehicles 😊
Cool trailer what does it weigh and how does it handle in extreme off roading
Thank you! We love it! It weighs 1900 lbs dry. It handles off-roading beautifully! With its independent suspension, it can go anywhere our Jeep can.
@@GetOverItOutdoors cool thank you for the reply I’m building my overland truck as we speak I live in southern nj but moving to eastern Tennessee soon after my back surgery then I’m gonna start my adventure again thank you
That sounds awesome! Best luck with your move and your travels!
Does the trailer come with the fireball or is that a mod?
Of course, do you think I would have bought it if it didn’t! 😂
That thing looks like it built to take some abuse on the trail! Thanks for sharing!
It's very rugged and built to last for sure!
So do the guys swap trailers or do the wives swap ?
Your wife is quite the cutie! Better keep her close
Hahaha! Oh I plan too!!!
Any chance you could share a link of the mirror you have in the interior cupboard?
