Very cool ! I used spend alot time all around Georgia. Beautiful country ! You guys did an awesome job capturing your experience... you've got knack for it ! Thanks for sharing, your neighbor, Ron
Hey Ron, thanks so much for watching and your kind words. It’s a little something I like doing and have fun flying the drone. Yes it is really beautiful up there. It was a little chilly this time but we still had a great time. If you liked this GA landscape you might wanna check out the 3 videos we did on Epic Utah campsites we found this past summer.
I will, I've never been out there but would love to go. I'm going out Montana and Yellowstone in April to visit a Marine buddy. Really looking forward to it. Also Really enjoyed the park history and the camper tour. Awesome job ! I also noticed a video showed from the manufacturer on my page and your's was much better ! Thanks, Ron 😊
@@ron3734 Thank you Ron! Yellowstone and Montana is on our bucket list for sure. Hopefully sooner than later. Maybe even this summer. We started talking about possibilities for the summer so who knows. Thanks for telling me what you like most about the videos. Always trying to get feedback and have more content on what people like in the videos. Aimee loves teaching history in her class so that is an easy transition for her to the videos. Again thank you for watching and commenting. These little things really help the UA-cam algorithms and promotes our videos.
@@GetOverItOutdoors I was amazed at what was inside your camper. That thing is really cool. I would to have loved to have something like that when I camped and hunted or even the Marines (but not sure they would have gone for it). I lived not to far from where you were in Georgia in Waynesville, NC and worked remodeling cabins in Maggie Valley. My daughter is still in Cashiers, NC. Really liked the drone videos. Especially the short montage of views of your camp site then showing the different locations you were at. You did great job with that thing, I would have crashed it for sure. Keep up the great work and most important having fun.
@@ron3734 We call it our little home away from home. You really can fit so much into a little trailer. We have enjoyed it so much so far. Oh yes, we are very familiar with Waynesville, Maggie Valley and Cashiers and have camped close to all those areas at one time or another. We really love exploring all the forest service roads and trails always trying to find the next great campsite.
That's one of our favorite parts, sitting around the fire so we tried to make it the most relaxing and comfortable we could. Thanks for watching and commenting like always.
I bet! I know most of the country is probably over it already but yes, it was exciting for these people that hardly ever get to see snow. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.
Y'all are waaaay overdue for a channel adventure update, but I get it... so am I. For me, planning to fix that soon with a Colorado road trip. Hope to see one of y'all's adventures soon!
Ugh, I know! We’ve been a few trips but I’ve been lazy and have been slow to do the edit. Stay tuned they will be coming shortly. Thanks for the support and encouragement.
Wellll, I did hit a couple branches a few times. The obstacle avoidance doesn't pick up those tiny branches with no leaves on them to well. No real damage just have to replace a few props.
Enjoyed your north Georgia outing and the winter scenery. Y'all have definitely got the comfort thing figured out. The overhead drone work continues to impress. I enjoy the trail and drone scenery but I'm finding myself really enjoying the camp cooking lessons.
Hello again Sir, yes win we ordered our Escapod trailer we set out to make it the most comfortable and cozy for the both of us. We definitely went this route more than the utilitarian route we chose with the tent and chair set up we had before. Thank you for your kind words again with the drone work and the video edit itself. I keep trying to mix it up and keep it fresh. As always, thank you for commenting and watching.
The one thing that has kept me from going the teardrop route, stepping away from my Aliner, is the rain/weather protection over the rear cooking area. What are your experiences/thoughts on weather protection over the rear kitchen.@@GetOverItOutdoors
@@DrJohn493 I can’t say that the rear kitchen hasnt been a hindrance thus far. We haven’t had to cook in the rain and this last time it was a little bit chilly, but nothing that we couldn’t handle. We really like to cook outside. You’ve seen our videos, we’re usually cooking over an open fire. So we’d love the outside kitchen on the trailer. If it ever is a downpour, we always have a few freeze dried meals that we can use instead of cooking a full meal.
Hahaha! We are still trying to figure out how much propane the heater uses and didn't want to run completely out before the end. Each night we raised it more than the night before. The last night we had it set on 68 and still only used 1.1 gallons of propane for 4 nights.
Enjoyed that. Having just started a YT channel recently, I know first hand the amount of time put into a 20 min vid. I had no idea lol. Living in NE Fl we head up to North Ga as often as we can and the BlueRidge area is one of our favorites. Love your rig too!
Yes it is quite the undertaking! A lot of running around and camera moving too! But it’s something I enjoy. Yes we love just about anywhere in Notth Georgia. Can’t wait to get back again.
I liked the history narration! How did the other trailer do on? It doesn't seem like it would hold up too well on more than fire roads, but I always liked those.
Trailer does great. She's built for off roading with the independent suspension, high ground clearance and the max coupler full articulating hitch. She'll pull just about anywhere. Just maybe not 8,9,10 extreme rated rock trails. We had her out in the San Raphael Swell in late July and was pulling it over rocks and ledges and it never held us back. With the one piece fiberglass reinforced composite body we don't have to worry about any seems or joints shaking loose or cracking the seals.
Nicely put together, if I was going to go with a truck and trailer set up it would be something similar to yours that trailer looks pretty durable. Looking to add a Lone Peak camper to my truck in the near future, and a winch, and a swing out tire carrier etc.... It never ends.:) I have Utah and Arizona in my sights as well in the near future your choice of campsites was outstanding.
We love our Jeep and trailer setup. The Escapod really is durable. I don’t hesitate taking it anywhere. If the Jeep can make it so can the trailer. It has more ground clearance than the Jeep also. The Lone Peaks, I’ve heard are really nice. Kinda like a GFC. Sounds like you have quite the list of upgrades. That’s the fun part! lol!
Hello! I absolutely love everything you did and the cozy decor! So cute! May I ask where did you get your duvet with the forest design? Appreciate it thanks! Love your videos!
Thank you so much! We tried very hard to make it warm and cozy inside! The duvet we got at Pottery Barn last winter on clearance, so I’m not sure if they brought it back again this winter. We love it if you can find it. It matches the inside soft touch interior of the Topo2 so well. Thank you for watching and commenting also it helps our little channel so much.
Thank you so much! I will try to look for it 😅❤ I love how you decorated and made your escapod so cozy! And I agree the stargazer window is amazing and one of the major reasons why my husband and I loved and purchased the escapod. Happy camping!

Google Earth, watching other UA-camr videos, Gaia GPS, OnX Offoroad, Trails Off-road apps, and a lot exploring any trail I see on the MVUM! Believe me they’re not all winners. Sometimes you a video is just a highlight reel.
Your trailer is at the top of my list to purchase. From a real time owner using one have you had any issues with the doors for the hatch sealing properly. Like water or dust getting inside and that big window I had concerns with with draft and being cold I rented one when I was in Utah and that’s what I saw any help would be great. Thank you very much.
Hey Daniel, not sure if you saw my response last week when you asked about the door seals but nope we have not had any dust or water intrusion in the cabin. When you rented a Topo2 you had a draft coming through the seal on the stargazer window? Must have needed some kind of adjustment. Our seals super tight. The window if you look closely is double pained with an air gap in between to help insulate. Kind of like your windows at home. Plus if you run the heat the vents blow across that window to help with condensation and warm it.
@@GetOverItOutdoors thank you. And sry I didn’t see the previous response. But I appreciate you taking the time to answer. I was just concerned because the doors especially the driver side door when closed I was seeing daylight come through and what I meant by the draft it just felt really cold at the window so I was concerned about sealing issues with the doors and the hatch and the rear galley wasn’t closing properly now this could all be due to being a rental etc. but thank you for your response. I appreciate it.
