Love Tombstone. My brother in law lives there and took us to breakfast in a local small place and I loved the sign that hung in there. It said " Absolutely Nothing Happened Here" I also bought a book that a couple took the time to research all the headstones. Some stories were sad, and some just weird. Next time you come up north right off Hwy 280 you can go see Wyatt Earps grave.
can i just say, i'm at 17 year old junior and high school and if anyone else was vlogging these historic attractions/tourist destinations, i couldn't be less interested. but you're my favorite youtuber for the face that you make everything so. interesting. you could be talking about how fast paint dries and vogging yourself watching it and i would watch every second of it. thank you for that.
After years upon years of being utterly fascinated with Tombstone (the movie) my husband and I finally visited Tombstone about five years ago. We only had enough time to visit for just one day and one night as we were just passing through, but I'll never forget the relentlessly eerie, and unwelcoming feeling that we got while being there. The locals were all definitely nice, nobody was rude or cold - or anything of the sort - but the overall vibe that we had just being in that famously historic little old town that we had dreamed of visiting for years - just gave off a very odd vibe that neither of us had felt before or since we were there - it's almost inexplainable. Not sure how, what or why it was that we were getting those vibes - but regardless, we still love Tombstone, and we will always have only the deepest of respect for the history that is behind it. Anyways - great video!! 👏
That isn’t Wyatt Earps house. That house was built about 15 years ago. It does sit on property that Wyatt Earp owned but it was a house he rented for extra cash.
Thanks for sharing, that's awesome that you got to actually see this place in person, man I would love to see Tombstone AZ and the famous bootheil graveyard. Thank you for sharing this video with us, it was very interesting.
I can't remember exactly, but when we lived in st. David and we would drive through tombstone, my husband would point out a hill and tell me that Wyatt was buried up there somewhere. At least I believe that's who it was. He said that they had marked his grave but vandals and tourists had destroyed it so it's unmarked now. I'm not sure how true that is, but it's an interesting story!
I used to live in tombstone for a couple of years right behind the bird cage theater and there's a story the locals know about concerning the real boot hill cemetery. when the county approved tombstone as a tourist spot and paved the streets they needed to put in a gas station. and guess where the cheapest place they did it? right on top of the real historic boot hill cemetery. now today there's a circle k there I think. and the creepy part is when they moved all the markers to where the cemetery is now to build the gas station they never bothered to relocate the coffins and bodies from there original place! right under circle k! there were also some real native Indians who were buried in that cemetery and when one of the local chiefs heard what the white man had done he sent a spiritist to curse the town, starting all the tombstone ghost stories. so the next time you go in to get your Pepsi and slim Jim, just know you're walking right over the dead old west.
Graves are always interesting to check out, especially to see how they went out, or even died. Cemeteries from old towns such as this one, like Bodie, are always neat to take a look at, for sure.
Great vlog very informative I for one have never been to Tombstone but would like to visit some day and you just made my interest even more so. thanks again until next time.
went to Tombstone today.i liked it.i'm an old west re-enactor,so it's my cup of coffee.(cowboys don't drink tea). what surprised me was the good prices on the western wear.quite affordable.i tend to hang out with the cowboys.
Love it Justin, so glad you came to my little corner of the world. You really should head over to Bisbee, Kartchner Cavern, Colossal Cave, & The Desert Museum on one of your trips out here. So much wonderful things to experience and I know you would appreciate the beauty The Sonoran Desert has.
Love Tombstone AZ. Went back there last year in 2016. My Dad took us there back in 1978 and it was memorable because Dad would smack my older Brothers for messing up while I enjoyed the sights. The Bird Cage Theater, the mines, and the O.K. Corral were awesome back then and still is from my trip last year. Brings back memories of my childhood.
Justin I've been on that exact same tour on the stagecoach it's pretty cool... of course it was like 15-16 years ago... lmbo loved the ending..That darn chicken..
Hey Justin wanted to tell you there's a cool place called the Desert Museum. It is kinda a mix of a zoo and a museum. It has an underground area about bats, packrats, and gemstones. It has lots of animals like mountain lions and coyotes. Also, yes, you can be loud. Also maybe visit Sabino Canyon. It is very wonderful.
I thought a couple days would have been enough when I went. I was wrong, I gotta go back. Also I have to remember not to get there late since there is not a lot of food options after 7pm.
Justin, we have watched each of these Tombstone vlogs 3 times already. So funny. The endings with Julio are perfection. Amazing editing throughout. We have visited Tombstone many times, but never knew there was a putt putt. We will look on that town with different eyes the next time we go thanks to you, which will be very soon. Awesome work.
Did you make it to the founders grave? It's out in the desert, close to a bed and breakfast. If you go to the courthouse, on the second floor are photos of him and a few of his things. Come back soon ! It would be awesome to meet ya!
When you go back you need to go to the gunfighter Museum. The guy who owns it has almost all the guns used in the movie Tombstone including Kurt Russell's gun The Peace Maker gun. And Val Kilmer's guns. And if you talk to him I might let you hold them and take your picture with them. He did my son and I. He closes on Sunday so go Saturday.
Justin you gotta go to Bisbee! It's an ooooooold mining town! Lot's of good antiques and the buildings and history there are amazing! Used to escape to there from tucson!
I knew the grandmother of the great, great grandson of Wyatt Earp. He would be in his mid twenties about now. They use to live in Riverside CA. Guess his name?
:True story: My Grandfather & my Uncle when they was young rode with Pancho Via. They both settled in San Diego after Pancho Via's death. Just about every Sunday Morning after church they would go over to their friends house and sit on the porch drinking coffee talking about their past. I can just imagine what they would talk about....Oh & that neighbor that exchanged stories with them was Wyatt Earp! Towards the end of Mr. Earp's life he was a referee in Los Angeles. And for a short time lived in San Diego. Apparently across the street from my Grandfather.
my mom went to school in the 50s . with Wyatt Earps grandson, we want that famous Outlaw High pockets Ally to finish her vendetta against SheriffJustin in a gunfight

I might have missed it but did you see or mention The Historama in Tombstone? Early 60's roadside attraction type diorama narrated by Vincent Price.
