Justin, it fills me with great joy to see how passionate you are about history and wanting others to learn as well. Keep up the good work. You are doing great things!
I really have a lot of respect for you. On how you go out of your way for our entertainment. I was born, and raised in LA, and now live in Las Vegas. You really do a lot of driving. Thank you

#Justin, You did this lil' Ghost Town justice with Your tour.. I most assuredly agree that, Calico is an Awesome Ghost Town.. So pleased that dedicated people have kept it going even, after all these years... We used to visit Peggy Sue's for an old fashioned 50's meal with a shake, also. c:
Thank you so much Justin for this fun video! I really needed this to cheer me up. As the whole mob already (and they have been super great) my grandfather had a stroke a few days ago and is not doing so well. I was at the hospital all day with him yesterday which was emotionally exhausting, so this was a nice video to wake up to and get my mind off things for a bit. Thank you again! Have a good day.
Justin, your a man after my own heart! I LOVE history and I SO enjoy your videos of historical places. we don't travel much ( too many animals) and I live vicariously through you. thank you so much for sharing the world with me and everybody else who enjoys your adventures. I just had to say that. carry on! ;)
19:20 They can call them Peekinese This is a very enlightening production Justin Scarred...I enjoy your animated narration voices. Even the Justinated ones.....
Another fun one, Justin! Lots of laughs especially towards the end. Great history lesson! Wish I knew about this place when I was living in California.
I luv you Justin. Such a nut. You make me laugh and educate me about places i most likely will never see. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures. :)
Justin, it is so awesome to learn about the places u go to in California...ty so much, I wish I can buy your t-shirts but with me being out of work right now I can't, so PLZ accept me jus watching and enjoying ur vlogs! I am a fan for life!
Dude, kudo's on the Walter Knott info... That man DOES NOT get the credit he deserves! I've been planning on going to Calico since you and Real Tyler went back in the day during the OG Randomlands.. And here i am.. still planning 👎🏼 Lol Awesome Vlog Justin 👍🏼
My school is the school of mines and they have a little touring place and I am a mighty miner so I tour many 4th graders from other schools it teaches people about the mining of things it is very cool if you were able to come you sure would enjoy
If you haven't already, you should see some of the news footage of the fire there from years ago. When the fire got up to the freeway, people had to abandon their cars leaving them sitting right on the freeway with nothing but mountains around them.
Another great vlog Justin! 👍🏻 Adobe housing is also more weather - proof 😊 in the extreme summer heat- it helps to keep cooler and in the winter- it kept warm. Adobe walls are generally almost a foot thick.
Why don't you have your own tV show already? You are so entertaining and informative at the same time. Thx for keeping us entertained. Enjoy your ghost tour in Calico.
First!!!!!! This is my second video of your when I'm the first comment. I love your vids. You make me happy when I watch these videos. I hope I see you in Disney one day (please respond)
at time marker 6:42 there is a set of what look like security lights that look like a hidden Mickey now please tell me I'm not the only one who sees it lol
Thanks Justin, loved it. FYI, I went to the Orange Circle per your video's. It was awesome. I had no idea that it existed. The Orange exchange building would be worth learning about.
Last time my fam. at Calico in summer it was 108 we lasted 20 minutes after seeing your video we are going now. Thank you didnt know there is soo much to see.
Oh, man, I'd so love to see you on a ghost hunt tour! Someday you should get an IR capable camera. :-) Perchance does your friend have a channel you could link to?
Hey Justin, I am a Firefighter of the first Engine on scene to where the fire started, and know play by play where it spread and how it spread. If you want any info at all feel free to ask! And if you ever wanted to visit a fire station at all let me know. Appreciate everything you do!
Yeah there is many old towns like calico because when they found gold they would make a small town.when they mined all the minerals they would leave to another and keep it as it be
"But then I spent so many nights, kept feeling sorry for myself. Did you think I'd crumble? Do you think I'd lay myself and die? Oh no! Not I. I will survive..." -- Donna Summer
lmao... the elongated 'old' had my dog freakin out and climbing onto the laptop.... you said something real serious to her.... she watched the rest of the vlog intently....
And I cried when Summit Inn burned. I used to eat there with my grandparents when I would come visit them (I lived in Los Angeles) and Summit Inn is where my husband and I had our first date. What is really sad about being burned, is the people that came and looted from it as soon as it was "safe" to.
Justin, it fills me with great joy to see how passionate you are about history and wanting others to learn as well. Keep up the good work. You are doing great things!
Justin your videos are top notch one of a kind hallarius and educational. Keep up the great work can't wait for the next one.

I saw that!!! I was about to reply with my own "6:44 'Hidden Mickey???' (LOL)" But you beat me to it. Hehehe.
Hey Justin, the 3-d viewer thing is a stereopticon, also called a Stereoscope. They are the fore runners of the View Masters. :) History Nerds unite!

Great new video. What video game did your end sequence music come from?
Hey mate! If you like old frontier-era towns, have you ever visited Old Town in San Diego? That's a good fun day of stuff to see!
I live near the Summit Inn, I was almost evacuated because of the fire. Scary times man, scary times.
Oh, man, I'd so love to see you on a ghost hunt tour! Someday you should get an IR capable camera. :-)
Perchance does your friend have a channel you could link to?
I love the ooooooooollllllllllldd west. It's where all the action happened. Your video was great

What love to see you go back here someday
Great impersonation of Jimmy Stewart. :)
Random Land staring Jimmy Stewart as the pick ax killer ! You need to get a night vision camera for the ghost hut video's.
Yeah there is many old towns like calico because when they found gold they would make a small town.when they mined all the minerals they would leave to another and keep it as it be
Has anybody told Julio what happens to canaries in coal mines? Ok, he's not a canary and it's a silver mine, but still . . . .
Love the video keep it up 👍
You need to come to smiths hardware in downtown Covington Louisiana
You'd be a great history teacher or tour guide. You make uninteresting things to me interesting.
I love the calico ghost town, it was fun!
Calico....that place is usually 'booming' with tourists, when your there. O.o Odd that there isn't a lot of people there.
Hay! Great vlog.
hidden mickey 6:42 on the the wood shack behind Justin
Went there once when I was a teenager in the 80s.

"But then I spent so many nights, kept feeling sorry for myself. Did you think I'd crumble? Do you think I'd lay myself and die? Oh no! Not I. I will survive..." -- Donna Summer

Summit inn is like 5 blocks away from my house. Hey Justin! 👋🏼
And I cried when Summit Inn burned. I used to eat there with my grandparents when I would come visit them (I lived in Los Angeles) and Summit Inn is where my husband and I had our first date. What is really sad about being burned, is the people that came and looted from it as soon as it was "safe" to.
There's a silver hidden Mickey at 6:41
is the mystery shack in gravity falls inspired by this?
Was it just me or did other people hear a high pitch noise?
