Bought a 99 Magna as my first bike 3 years ago. No regrets, no feeling of missing out, no urge to replace or upgrade. In the past three years Ive ridden friends cruisers, sport bikes, ADVs, and super motos. They are all awesome but muscle cruisers are just a weird level of goofy that sustains entertainment while also being comfortable on the daily. I blame DWID for this, it was the Magna motovlogs that made me look into them in the first place.
I just got an 83 magna and I love it and diwd is definitely the reason I wanted one so bad kinda old and hard to get parts but the only thing I wish was that it was a v65 but still a ton of fun

@@RubyXIII Magnas are short in the seat but not small feeling or crammed. I have a 29-30" inseam(5'6" tall) and can flat foot the bike and can ride in a standard riding position(sat upright with thighs parallel to the ground). Taller than 6' people would probably start to feel like its tight.

Dan you realize that honda has already put the Africa twin motor in a cruiser right? The rebel 1100? Like I know you were talking about revamping the magna with a 1000v4 but still. Hey there's an idea! Bring back the vfr and magna with a shared 1000 v4 at a reasonable price and I bet they'd sell like hotcakes

Ive owned a 14 Vstrom 1000 since new. Crazy it's been ten years already. Its such a great bike, just like you said it will do pretty much anything you want. I cant see myself ever selling it.
Man i bought my 93’ shadow for 600 bucks, and 8 months later ive learned alot about riding, and i still have under 1000 bucks into the thing. Best bang for buck in the market imo.

The literal first moment I jumped on my Magna I was in love with it. Comfortable, actually kinda fast and a unique engine. Now I'm building it and trying a turbo setup for better or worse haha.
I also just picked up a BMW K1600B and I think you should ride one if you get the chance.

lol.. as an owner of a vrod muscle I agree.. and I like where it lands.. the Brooother to the brother is so true LOL. love the ranking.. wonder if you had a vmax where that would be. I also hope to see more power crusiers like the rocket 3, vrod, magna, vmax, etc. especially since the king of baggers is gaining popularity more big beefy go fast twins (v4s) would be AWESOME. keep up the fun cheers.

Not going to lie, I think the ZX10R is like my favorite bike. It just checks all my boxes. My problem is that im shorter than you are, and have short legs, so I just can't comfortably fit on it. Id have to slam it, and I don't want to do that.
Great video! I'm surprised that you didn't have the suzuki Boulevard on this list as a power cruiser. Rode my dads a good few times as well as my 08 zx6r. That thing was just stupid. It would spin a tire in 3rd gear at 70mph, handled well actually, definitely a very heavy bike, but once you were moving it didn't feel like it.
Your flame thrower ads are the best ad spot you've ever had. It is a real shame I'm already well stocked.
Edit: after the suzuki Bergman 650 video one cropped up near me for [I could afford it without thinking] and I very nearly expanded the fleet just for lolz

My favorite bike is the one I ride now, 2021 Ducati Multistrada 950S and that barely beats out the Triumph I owned prior to my last two Ducati’s.

Most Harley riders, contrary to popular belief, own many kinds of bikes. I love my bagger. Also love my concourse 14 Kawasaki, and (muscle cruiser) Warrior 1700 Yamaha.
Must admit though, i had a KLR and kind of have an itch for a DRZ.

About the move from inlines to twins, yea I see it happening with Yamaha and Kawasaki, and I am not really against it. I have gotten more attuned to the sound of the twin over the past couple years after researching them more, and a lot of the inline supersports are track bikes anyway... the highway is not a track.
The twins are getting more sportlike anyway so I am happy 👍

I bought my magna because of dans videos years ago. The power band on it is so much fun. Faster than Harley’s and way more reliable.
My favourite bike has to be my current 01 suzuki tl1000s same engine as the vstrom but its up tuned to 125hp …the tl1000r has 135hp and forged internals they sound amazing and they are relatively cheap especially the 1000s i got mine for 2k they got the torque of a 1000cc 4 cyl and the power of a 600rr so its a awesome bike to ride

Considering the Magna is #1, surely you should test ride the Ducati Diavel. I've just purchased a Ducati Diavel 1260 and it's amazing. Comfortable and can rip your face off as you say ;)
Just snagged an old beat up m109r for 2500 bucks and holy fuck are you correct the muscle cruiser is so much fun to rip around
if you like muscle cruisers you should try a ducati diavel 1260 or a v4

Breh, this may be because I own one and absolutely love it but I'd love to see you ride and review a Yamaha Road Star Warrior. It is a powerful 1700 metric muscle cruiser and beautiful (in my opinion). I have 90k miles on mine and it doesn't gave a shit.

Hey dude, I just got a camera and started recording some of my riding. Does it take forever for you to upload off the SD card onto your computer too? I have like a 10 GB video and it’s taken probably three hours here and its at 50% lol fuck
Make sure you using a USB 3.0 port and your SD to us. Adapter supports it as well.

Dan the Africa twin engine is in the Honda rebel 1100 however we need dodge viper/ demon team to make a bike hear me out it would literally be like a 2 dyna engines put side by side or the dart engine with more boost and less emissions

My first bike was a shadow 600cc, great fun bike, my second bike was a harley sporster nightster, I was not a great bike to own and I think I should have bought an indian scout. I'm currently owning a bmw r nine t roadster and I can't think of a better bike, especially with the new r12 that is so ugly. I also have a bmw r80 from 1982 that I completely restored and turn into a very cool cafe racer/scrambler. IMO you get more fun on a smaller displacement bike, on the litter bike you only get the fun of having a lot of power but most of the time you can't use it properly because you're on the public roads.
Maybe litter bikes should be banned from public roads and used only for track. I live in France and with only 2 years of riding license you can drive any motorcycle, I think it's not reasonable sometimes because most of the rider would ride during summer so their experience of the road would be minimal before going directly on a big cc bike
