LIST REVISION : After recording and editing video , I realized I completely overlooked a huge Doom metal album that should not only have made my list but ranked pretty high . The album was “ The Ruins of Fading Light” by Crypt Sermon. It would have ranked around slot #6 in the list 🤘🏻
The subgenres you mentioned at the end were actually the ones I was about to suggest. Top 20 heavy/mdm/Power metal album videos would be great. Just wanted to say this series has put me into some great new music so thanks.
@@crazybalrog4033 yeah those were the first sub genres that came to mind that have not been done , and you’re welcome , part of the reason I started Channel, give bands more expose to new people , talk metal with people and discover new music myself , cheers 🤘🏻
Great list Jeremy but No Ahab? Would definitely be in my list - The Call of the Wretched Sea probably my favourite but all albums are fantastic. Also Esoteric - absolutely phenomenal band - worth checking out if you don’t know them. Id second Draconian in terms of Death Doom and add Swallow the Sun. Shape of despair also up there for me. I’m sure there’s plenty I’ve missed out too that haven’t come off the top of my head
I’m not as familiar with Ahab , need to check them out more , actually most you the bands you mentioned I need to check out , I’ve heard a few tracks from Draconian and Swallow the Sun but never listen to any full albums 🤘🏻
That's an amazing list of your favorite doom metal albums. Good to see Saint Vitus, Katatonia, Sleep, Solitude Aaternus, Asphyx, Black Sabbath, and Bell Witch. Are you a fan of Draconian?
