Y’know I was gonna say I’m surprised step 1 isn’t to get Pilot Quest idling as fast as possible, but man, imagine setting all that up just to get screwed by Bug Hunter
1:08:02 what’s especially tragic is there WAS a way out of this situation. Hopping down, then running up>left>up would’ve gotten you 4 cells for the egg bomb. Cant say I blame you for missing that in the heat of the moment tho
Wizards hard counter birds in avianos, one shots them right out of the sky. In fact if you stack like 10 wizards and 10 archers in a castle, the ai will almost never be able to take it with any combination of units.
for bushido ball, why are you playing in 1p mode instead of doubles? even without a second player, that cheese strat is faster in coop mode because you only need to win two matches
DANG gg, I'm 65 hours in and barely halfway through even PLAYING the games much less beating them haha. I was wondering how feasible this kind of run would be and 27 hours sounds about right tbh. Out of curiosity did you get all cherry disks or just 7? Unsure if those are practice save files or what.
He might have more than 7 cherries, but I doubt he got 50 . I Watched a stream and it seemed like he doesn't like a lot of the games enough to cherry them, so he went straight to speedrunning gold disks
It's really not. At least not to get the gold/cherry. Once you get to a streak of 13+, then yeah, I could see RNG becoming an issue, but like... If you know what you're doing and what options you've got, you'll win those early games guaranteed. As an example: The first game that was lost in this video could have been won by just selecting the platform-height-changing module and hopping on the egg. He could have also had way more energy to work with by taking the energy-cube-gathering module, and grabbing those six in the corner before they blew up (net +4 energy even if you immediately trash that module). The entirety of his play was filled with constant misplays, letting bugs evolve when they shouldn't have been able to, failing to get energy cubes even when doing so came at no cost, and so on. Which, like, I'm not really criticizing him for. Just... it's not RNG causing losses here.
skip to 42:30 to hear the explanation before the run, but skip the stream setup stuff

I learned yesterday that this happens I played 150 hrs so far without touching pilot quest 😅
He said so many times why he wasn't doing that.
Your frustration at devilition is actually so cathartic
It's so stressful and frustrating 😭
The fun part is that this is the half with the small games
Dang thumbnail goes hard 🔥🔥🔥
absolute sociopath category, respect

I hope it delights you to know that I referred to this video to help me complete my run of Block Koala.
Never seen you before but great vid! I'l have to check out more
How could UA-cam hide this from me for 10 minutes?!?!

4:50:58 I think that level is way harder than it should be, considering how early it comes up

multiplayer is against the rules for this category

Some people have no lives
Why did he quit his first Aviananos run? Wasn't it going well?
1:23:29 What's stopping him from winning here? looks like he can jump on the squid, move up, then snipe the egg
Wouldn't the wall prevent the egg from being sniped? I don't think you can shoot past walls, but I may just not have played enough Bug Hunter.
3:51:50 he could have gotten the demon in the top left by placing a diagonal cross between the snake and frog.
1:14:04 Xerneas when Scizor gets sent out
4:23:44 all the units are birds tho
Bug hunter feels like a disaster of rng
