- In this vid ill be showing yall how to repair a carburetor that leaks fuel out of the intake
Typically the problem is the float valve, sometimes simple as it needing a clean

Thanks! Worked like a charm. I used a Qtip swab, it didn't look dirty but I cleaned it anyway. Also, I had to change the fuel filter. The engine would sputter and wanted to shut off when gas was applied. I guess this is what happens when you let the bike sit up for 6 months. 😀 Thanks again!
I see a leak from the tank … onto the carburetor…do u think it’s the tank itself or should I work on the carburetor… I’m not a mechanic don’t want to touch the carb if I don’t have to

thanks so much, had spitting and spittering on my 1990 xr250, bought a rebuild kit, come to find out there was a little piece of rubber in where the float valve sits. took it out runs mint and doesnt leak.
I need to change my carburetor tray. If I remove the carburetor, not moving the adjustment screws will it throw the carburetor out of control.thks four your video 😊

Pro tip use starter fluid for this. Burnt off carb cleaner especially if chlorinated is poisonous when burnt

Do you think that this video would help for a generator carburetor cuz that's your video popped up when I googled for the Makita generator carburetor. I'm trying to fix that now
Yes it's the same basic design. Float valves on almost every carb use the same design

My. Bayou just shits itself when I even fill the tank half way I usually tap the carb with a hammer and it fixes it for a while
I got a problem I’m getting gas to the engine compression and barely spark enough to hear but not enough to see every time it strikes so when I try to start it has to be at the perfect throttle and runs a couple strokes before it stops

im going to look at this minibike i have again tomorrow im thinking something like this is the problem its leaking out of the overflow at the bottom and the bottom is closed but gas is continually leaking out so maybe a bad float or float pin..its not my bike id probably just buy a whole new carberator theyre only 30 bucks and this one is in rough shape and so is the filter but im trying to fix it just for kicks...not even sure this guy will eve ruse it again so i dont want to waste money on soemthing he wont even use..also appears like it needs a back tire too so a carb would be a waste.
Dude I don't know what the hell to do, I cleaned my carb a couple times and it runs great fora couple hours then out of nowhere it starts leaking out the intake again. I adjusted the float and everything. Since I've been cleaning it now it only drips a little fuel compared to it pouring out. I took it apart I'll deal with it tomorrow

My leak is coming out from the immediate other side of the idle screw the little male golden bolt looking thing , what do I do
The “punch mark” of mine is a little male piece coming out the side looks like the idle screw comes in one side and out the other, SEEMS , that little male part leaks out of its diameter
