*To me, this chair is extremely expensive. I've not had a good chair, or even really an office, for the 7+ years I've been doing BookTube, and have been saving up for a long time to upgrade, not only for this chair, but for a lot of the equipment shown (ex: Walmart shelves vs Ikea shelves). I started my channel sitting on the floor with no shelves, then got Walmart shelves and still sat on the floor, years later I finally bought lights, so on and so on. I'm mentioning this because I don't want anyone to think you have to have all of these things in order to start a channel, and I certainly didn't have any of these things to start with. I still use my phone to record, and even with all the years I've been making videos, I can't bite the bullet and justify spending what would be almost all of these things combined for a fancy camera. Maybe someday, but for now, I'm happy with the baby steps, and I'm grateful for the many of you who have watched my channel in all its various stages 💜
