well,in weakest group,lorewise Amakusa is pretty weak for a servant,but Sherlock Holmes is not strong either so Bottom 2 are Amakusa and Sherlock Holmes a,who are weaker are unclear
then in middle group that isn't so weak but not that strong either,I think it is Davinci and Jeanne with Jeanne have upper hand
and the rest are in Strong group that is really strong for a servant like Lostbelt king, goddesses ,divine miko or Saint Martha
in normal circumstances, Personally I think , the Strongest Ruler is depend on who will win in Goddess wrestling match between Samba Santa and Astraea
and finally wildcard slot for Martha that I feel like she can beat anyone if she is really pissed off

Enkidu and Iskander are highlights as those two tend to hold back as for golden boy Gil he could use a vacation he's been showcase enough
I remember seeing somewhere that Gil is almost unable to have an alter form as he is so hard to corrupt. As shown in Heavens Feel, the grail decided to kill off Gil instead of corrupting him cause it was deemed close to impossible

Best mentality when it comes to power scaling. People scream nonsense like "this character is star level!" when they deadass haven't done anything to showcase it and is instead based on figures attached to their power that are completely speculative.
True people who use cross verse scaling inverse really need to rethink their whole methodology
I mean it’s fine to think that way in general, but we have easily quantifiable stats which we can compare Np strength to. Calling Artoria pendragon with the spear of the end that is on par with excalibur the weakest goes into the realm of stupidity I can’t comprehend. It’s disingenuous af, and is being obtuse on purpose.
I don’t give a shit if you only go off feats but add that as a disclaimer, well I suppose you did show this opinion was trash right away.

That logic leads to characters like Yamamoto from bleach being downplayed to below planetary. Stuff like that is stupid.
It's case by case basis. If a character has a statement attached to them, it should be used as supporting evidence. Now I do see cases where a characters scaling can contradict others which is where I think this type of rationalization is best used. In this video for example, the excuse to put Lalter in the bottom isn't good. He even admits she would normally be on the higher end of the list.
What you said about godjuna is right, he can blow the planet surface had he can go outside of his Lostbelt.
When Godjuna absorbed the Tree he said that it was just like when he first absorbed the Gods if not stronger, meaning that the Fantasy Tree was able to make him regain his peak power after being weakened by us, and Holmes literally said with that much of power he can incinerate earth surface just like Goetia did, so yeah he's pretty much a threat to the entire planet.
He definitely seems stronger than Zeus but since I’ve yet to finish Olympus maybe I haven’t seen everything he can do, and he is weaker trying to keep the city functioning so I guess there’s that

@@dreamprieto328 alters are usually a change in mentality mixed with dark juju. The definitive stronger ones usually have a change in circumstances in history like okita and arjuna.
Cu and Hercules are special cases cause their alters are technically the alters of a different class they can be summoned as. So the difference between cu alter and cu berserker is how much of a dick he is.
Hercules berserker is the weakest form of that servant while archer is the strongest. So his alter is his archers alter which would be around the same strength and again less of a dick.
This change in mentality simply shift their stats to match the mentality.
Got an idea for a video. Who do you think the Fate Stay and Fate Zero masters would summon without catalysts? Found Zero fun in that Ryuunosuke is the poster child for getting a servant that worked so well because of the normal summoning mechanics of bonding you with a like minded servant despite the pair being terrible people. Who do you think Rin or Shiro or the rest would have summoned based on their personality?
I think Shirou is confirmed to have Spartacus as the servant he'd summon without a catalyst.

Well, we know that Sakura summoned Rider without a Catalyst. It’s likely that even without a catalyst, Shirou could still summon Artoria due to how similar they are to one another, either her or potentially Archer (although that’s unlikely). I’m not fully sure on the others though

Should berserker Lancelot count as an alter? Technically his abilities fit the theme and even the color scheme. Maybe an honorable mention at the very least

Nope. All Alter forms are as a result of corruption of the original form in some form or another, and Berserker Lancelot is literally just Lancelot gone mad with guilt.
Artoria Alter -> corrupted by Angra Mainyu via the Grail
Artoria Alter Lancer -> corrupted by the Grail, thus becoming one with the Wild Hunt
Jeanne Alter -> corrupted by inane thoughts of vengeance, thus why she's an Avenger
Atalante Alter -> corrupted as a result of fusing with the pelt of the Calydonian Boar,
Cu Alter - > corrupted as a result of Mebd's wish via the Grail
Emiya Alter -> corrupted as a result of his conflict with Kiara, effectively cursing him
Okita Alter -> has a corrupted and broken Saint Graph as a result of her role as a Counter Guardian, and becoming an alter ego of herself
Arjuna Alter -> corrupted as a result of the Fantasy Tree and being formed due to the alternate Lostbelt history fusing with all the other Hindu gods.
And then there's MHXA, but she's servantverse so that pretty much is it's own thing
But yeah, hope this helps with the whole understanding what exactly makes Alters what they are.
@@Zaileir Yeah I get it. I didn't really know the true origin of why hes a berserker. I truly thought it was curse related at first. But you have to admit, there are a lot of servant with madness enhancement like him but Lancelots unique abilities look 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 similar to ones you see from the grail in the heavens feel route. How does one absorb and hack a fighter jet and manifest weapons from being a knight origin? Shits wild. It feels like there's got to be more to it.
@@trex1019 While I do agree I don't consider those two as alters, Lancelot still stood out because his abilities are just strange for a knight class origin madness enhancement. Most notably his ability to absorb weapon class objects including the famous jetfighter. You don't get that from purely madness enhancement. I truly thought there was a curse involved in his spirit origin as I explained to another guy. Carmilla isn't an alter because shes explained with age/adulthood. Artoria to Lancer Artoria as a comparison. Gorgon is a completely different origin from medusa gorgon. As much as ishtar is to space ishtar.
@@esirender No, not really. What Berserker Lancelot can do makes a lot of sense when you know what his abilities do. His NP in Knight of Owner allows him to make a weapon out of ANYTHING he acknowledges as a potential weapon, thus making it his NP. This in conjunction with Eternal Arms Mastery, which makes him masterfully proficient at pretty much all forms of weaponry regardless of his condition, means that he can do pretty much whatever when it comes to weaponry specifically, including things like fighter jets and vehicles so long as he views it as a weapon. As for looking like the corrupted Grail mud from Stay Night in being the black/red combo, that's actually just coincidence. They just happen to share the same color pallet, and black/red is VERY common when it comes to edgy or dark character design.
It should also be noted that Madness Enhancement is not a solely a Berserker thing (note Castor of the Dioscuri), and how it effects the user varies severely from individual to individual.
Corruption is specifically what indicates something delving into the alter side of things, and almost always has to do with changing the core of an individual. Going mad isn't being corrupted, because it's pretty much all just as a result of a massive internal struggle and doesn't inherently change who they are. Berserker and Saber Lancelot are the same person, but one has lost their ability to reason properly as a result of the mental anguish they are going through.

How do you beat one of humanity's greatest heroes and advocates when he has gone off into the Alter zone? Simple. You stuff the embodiment of all the Hindu gods into one Demi-god hero and let him nuke/reshape whichever continent that Herc Alter is on until he is just grains of magic energy that couldn't even think to put themselves back together again.
Artemis did that to the regular version. And then he put himself back together in completely disregard of what is supposed to have happened.

The alter version is such an interesting part of the lore of Nasu but looking at this video, I see that it has been underutilized in the story. Saber and Jeanne Alter seem to be the ones with the most character development but still, there is so much mystique about all these characters. I have Arjuna, Cu, Saber and Atalanta. Design-wise I cannot get enough of Okita and during Requiem, Shiroh was very funny. Alcides is the one I am totally hyped about. He needs to get the Gen Urobuchi treatment with the Ufotable budget and animation.
Id love to hear some of Asvathaman's lore from your perspective. I use him the most and maxing him out. he is awesome and would love to hear your spin on it.

@@clarent715 Herc alters thing that makes him confident against Gil is that his armor has bonus resistances to man made items, which he assumes is the reason why the only thing that can hurt him is EA since like Gil's whole thing with GoB is that it is everything owned by humans which most of the time is man-made.
So coming back to my previous comment I meant to say that fae items don't proc his bonus damage reduction against man-made stuffs.
@@clarent715 also no, the differences between Excalibur and Unsealed version is so different that having half of the thirteen seals be unsealed(not all of the seals) should be more than enough to push back non full powered EA which FYI Gil can't release EA's true name without killing himself in the process whereas releasing any one of the seals on Excalibur or even all of them has NO negative effects whatsoever on the user, so take that info as you will.
I'm not trying to argue with the whole "Excalibur sealed VS EA at Gil's max strength without killing himself." it's been discussed before so I'd recommend you looking in some other comment thread or even reddit or discord or whatevs.

Alter Hercules is insane and I believe he has an ability that makes him impervious to anything but divine weapons so him laughing at GOB makes sense if thats true.

I remember seeing and reading something about the Servants from Fate Prototype: Fragments of Sky Silver being brought back as Alters, or something like that. But to be honest, I’m not actually sure if that’s true. I know I’ve seen an image of Alter Arthur and that his personality was the bases of what would become FSN Gilgamesh, but that’s literally all I know, and maybe all there is to it.
Yeah apparently the final of Prototype was going to include the alternate versions of the Sky Silver servants.

Image in the HGW there's this secret rule of the grail in which of you summon a servant, and that same servant has a alter version. There could be a 10% chance you could summon both the normal version and the alter version of them. Both they share the same body. Actually now that I said that. It remind of another certain anime.

Nine Lives also specifically counters Godhand, seeing how it "Kills the target no matter how many times it resurrects." Which means Alcides would just keep hitting him until he stopped getting back up.

Oda faced ryouma who she literally counters beyond compare, she gains all her buffs against him, he is a rider and his Noble Phantasm is a dragon the peak of mystery, yet the battle was so balanced that she only won after using all of her abilities and noble phantasms
Gilgamesh beyond couple leagues above ryouma ain't someone she can handle, Arash is also a mythological hero with a crazy amount of mystery, yet it took oda and okita working together to beat him, and the moment he decided to use Stella a mystery based noble phantasm they stated they had no way of surviving it (both oda and okita), with such weak offense and defense an enuma elish would completely demolish oda alone
Do I have to mention that she can only shoot 3000 shots at most while Gilgamesh can cover the sky with gates excluding his variations of things other than noble phantasms such as shields that can withstand alcides' arrows and mystic codes that provides automatic defense that shoots lightning at any threat, do I have to mention his armor that can withstand noble phantasms? Or his his flying ship? Or his clairvoyance that can read the opponent?
Oda ain't beating Gilgamesh if he decides to fight back, her buffs barely allowed her to beat ryouma
Can oda survive a blast from EA if Stella can beat her AND OKITA WORKING TOGETHER?
Can oda block mountain buster swords such as ig alima and sul sagana?

Oda gets stronger against enemies with mystery and riding skills, this doesn't mean it's an infinite buff, top servants like gil karna and artoria are still in a league of their own, if with this buff she can't handle nor ryouma nor Arash then beating Gilgamesh is beyond her capabilities as a heroic spirit

@Tsiah IV to be fair i think EA at full power could destrpy the earth it's just that the counter force and the other protections on the earth stop it from being destroyed. Would you agree or no? also do you really think a full powered grand orion with everything he had in the lostbelt would lose to arjuna?
About Orion, yeah he doesn’t have the feats or statements that put him on the same level as Godjurna. The only grands that can beat him are Solomon and Romulus.

@@MrInuhanyou123 pretty sure that it's been stated that if the counter force didn't have defenses set up on the planet that ea could destroy it. That's the reason why it never will is because the counter force stops it because even in fate in Gilgamesh's mythology he destroyed the world seven times and enkidu repaired it 7 times pretty sure.

For context, Lalter showed up in London, just a boss fight, wanted to make sure things were OK.
The appearance was wasted, people complained.... And sakurai did it again in Lb5. Legit killed her off. Her inclusion was just an affront.
They were up against gods, yes. But what was the point lol? Lalter could have been removed and nobody would have cared. So even if lalter is strong, the game DOES NOT CARE. So we don't either. No matter how hot she is.

Except Alcides was literally goading Gil in that scene and had nothing to back it up, while it was stated Gil doesn't need Ea to kill Alcides + Alcides absorbed From Hell before the 2nd fight and was still going to lose to Ea-less Gil which is funny because I can list 5 servants that requires Gil to use Ea even while going all out with GoB
@@clarent715 It wasn't stated by a unbiased source that EA wasn't needed. It was stated by Gil or Nina (I forgot which of them), both are heavily biased in golden boy's favor.
He wasn't losing either, they were pretty close- Herc fired off Hydra and Gil was preparing a GoB that *could've* blocked it (we don't know if it really would've, of course. Plus herc could've spammed more), then GoB was shut down and Gil got rekted.
I would also like to mention that alcides is WEAKER than Regular Archer herc. He just has a good matchup against gil because of reincarnation Pandora (which regular archer herc may have?, I'm not sure if the LN was clear on that one.) and he lacks divinity, which would've been the killer for regular archer herc.
Fate doesn't run off of power levels but rather matchups. Siegfried dunks on artoria (excluding lion king) because he is a dragonslayer; that doesn't mean he is more powerful than artoria.
I also don't see why him stealing from hell should be brought into the equation. It just mean he used one of his NPs. No different than Gil using GoB.
That last anecdote about servants needing EA is also a matchup thing. Some hard counter GoB so he needs to use EA (EMIYA's UBW comes to mind), but that doesn't mean they're more powerful than servants that don't require EA. (Lancelot, berserkerherc, etc.)

You literally stated that Alcides is weaker than normal Archer Herc but then backtrack to Alcides being more suited to fight Gil, which in this case makes him "stronger" in a way
Honestly the Ea statement I also don't really trust it but it's pretty clear Gil's GoB in FSF is showing busted stuff
@@clarent715 That's not a backtrack though?, it's a pretty common thing in Fate that some servants are stronger fighting others even if on paper they're generally weaker. Alcides IS weaker than normal archer herc in most matchups because divinity as a rank is broken, as is god hand. But against foes that deal with divinity extremely well (Cough cough, Gil), he's better suited for that fight.
Gil's GoB was kinda broken, which is why I suspect isthar went 'yer done' to it. Because Gil isn't just spamming swords this time and that means trouble.
One true servant that has a good shot aganist gil is hua imho. Looks like a fucking menace.
