He did feel some amount of guilt over Artoria Fate so he is not completely heartless but it's something he acquired after years of emotion eating, interacting and observing humans

His female version is even more on the psychopathic spectrum, having no sense of responsibility whatsoever and caring for fun and fun only

It's pretty crazy how close Angra Mainyu was so close to being a Beast. It make you wonder how long Nasu had the concept in FGO already in place when he was writing FSN, or at least would evolve on their concepts.
The Beast concept originated in Prototype but I doubt that back then it was like it is now. Back in Proto there was only one Beast, the Beast from the Bible, and then when Nasu went back to the drawing board snd turned Proto into FSN he based Angra on the Prototype Beast, both of them being monsters of human evil born from polluted Holy Grails. Then years later for GO he probably went back to his old Prototype notes to expand it into the Beast Class.
Meanwhile he got stopped by shirou who had no clue just how powerful the menace he stopped would have been

I love the fact that shirou had no clue what he stopped from happening while Merlin's just showing off.
Unfortunate little Douman, he tried so hard to become a beast but he was missing the most crucial part of it, for one to be able to become a beast candidate, the individual in questions needs to beable to feel love for humanity, as warped and distortted as it may be every beast in their own way loves humanity.
What you're saying is that An alternate Shirou Emiya might be used as a beast or pseudo beast. FGO likes throwing curveballs and i would honestly not be surprised

Plot twist: Gaia is actually Morgan and Alaya is actually Artoria from yet another timeline, but they don't realize it.
For Fou/Primate Murder, his full potential depends purely on where or not Merlin decides to keep him in check, or simply abandoning him. If I remember correctly, before Merlin came in the picture of the fate series, Primate Murder was simply too strong for most, except for Type Mercury. Not because of the beast class, but because his developmental potential made him nearly invincible to the point where the beast class seemed like something that would hold him back.
He was stated to being stronger than both heroic spirit's and divine spirit's. If I remembered this right, anything that was stronger than Primate Murder, he would fundamentally become stronger than what he was facing except if it was too unnatural to him. Since most heroic spirit's are humans, which are primates to him, and divine spirits are a concept from humans, Primate Murder simply just dominates with no questions.
Even in the world of Melty Blood/Tsukihime, where Dead Apostle Ancestors were the superior force of nature, where there are not heroic or divine spirits, most of them know not to touch Primate Murder because of how dangerous it was. Except for that one Dead Apostle Ancestors that Primate Murder follows. All in all, it's dangerous if it develops in a certain way.

The Beasts are a wild bunch for sure. It really is a miracle the world is still a thing. Considering how sending a Grand is only considered at the very last minute. By the time stopping Kiara during Seraph would have been a thought...the planet would already be fucked. I'll give it some break with Kama since she was trying to avoid detection.
Great breakdown for them though. FGO really helped take things to another level with giving them a lot of focus. Obviously they've touched various aspects of Fate, but FGO really took things and ran with it. And I'm sure the end of part 2 is going to be nuts.

My personal theory is that marisbury, the director of caldea pre goetia attack will be the final boss since he was killed off early but Olga Maria came back and he should be a pretty interesting character
Well considering that beast 7 is the end, and that in fgo mobile, we currently have defeated beast 1, 2, and both 3s, and 4, my guess is 5 is next

No, no, no, guys. Beast V is us the player, the beast of Regret. I mean haven' we been doing what a Beast does throughout the Lostbelts. Testing the humanity inside the Lostbelt whether they deserve to continue existing or not. That's my head canon
I'm telling you man, the true complete manifestation Angra Shirou gotta be Beast V.
Most important but rarely explored part of beast theme is their relation to the 7 cardinal sins or rather the twist of it. The thing is the beast does not punish human for the cardinal sins but rather they are the owner of those sins. The essence they embodied is instead the Result of those sins.
Goetia "Pity" us because he have unshakeable [Pride] of being the superior to mankind. He's essentially looking down at mankind for living a miserable life.
Tiamat "Regression" came from her reluctance to move and grows. She's essentially a [Sloth] who rejects any change and thus her reaction to change is to reset everything into what it once were.
III are pretty obvious both "Rapture" and "Lapse" are born from the beast own [Lust].. Kiara is obvious with how gung ho she is with her plant of making the whole mankind her dildo but Kama is bit more complicated but basically unlike Kiara who's all lust, Kama have absence of lust instead as her main motivation.
IV are pretty easy since it's easy to draw relation between "Comparison" "Cherisment" and [Envy]. Basically they're beast that observe and take what they do not own. Because they only seek what they observe these beast are not innately incompatible with human. As long as they seen what is good in human they'll grew to seek what is good like human.
Which is why IV are said to be destined to be defeated without fighting them.. I believe this is because fighting them will have opposite effect. Cath Palug are said to be grow stronger to match their opponent strength and took attribute from whatever it observe such as developing vampirism when she's under Altrouge. While Tamago have the innate survival instinct of bunch of cowardly critters so we don't know what'll happen if we corner this cowardly beast.
V is unknown but it's sin is definitely Greed. because VI is Gluttony.
Based on Mother Harlot VI definitely embody [Gluttony]. The "depravity" she create are just spice to satisfy her glutton taste of eating a whole civilization whole. Based on this pattern too then Daji is probably a Beast VI too.
And VII is definitely [Wrath] since the motive of U-Olga Marie is revenge for his brethren dissected and killed by mankind. However her essence is yet to be revealed.
I actually had pretty neat idea already on her true identity and the identity of this whole cosmos in the lostbelt but that's just speculation

Some more things to note about the beasts:
Merlin being a beast candidate is gonna (hopefully) be explored in fate/Grand Order Arcade because Merlin(Prototype) isn't really on the side of humanity unlike the Merlin in fgo normal.
Kama managed to make a pocket dimension in which she pulled almost every servant in Chaldea Novum inside her dimension, turned them into building blocks, and made a labyrinth out of them. She also merged with the universe, so in case she would've fully awakened, she would quite literally become the universe entirely and kill everyone with drowning them in love.
Kiara not being a beast, was so good at what she did in breaking another's mind that she made the demon god pillar Zepar beg for mercy from Kiara until kiara absorbed him and fused with her CCC counterpart becoming a full beast on the level of a true daemon and she became a bodhisattva on the level of buddha.
Koyanskaya doesn't want to become simply Amaterasu because she hates that form of her. So instead she want's to find another way to get to that level of strength without outright becoming her.
Amaterasu is one of the strongest beings in Nasuverse on the level of Velber, Saver, etc. In fate/extra, she has some scenes where she out of nowhere pulls hakuno into her temple and just her pressence alone would've instantly killed hakuno had Amaterasu not allowed him to survive the encounters.
CCC Kiara doesnt have the means to harm buddha lel. Not having Nega saver harms her in that aspect, while Beast Kiara is weaker than her CCC Self but can harm saver due to nega saver

About Amaterasu, Sefar has beaten Amaterasu before. Sefar has the ability to absorb any types of mana. It doesn't matter if it's human, divine, demonic, or pure. Sefar will absorb it all without fail. Since Amaterasu uses pure mana, Sefar sucked it all up and kept moving on to the next victim.

I do have to say, amongst all of the Beasts, Kiara is the most different from the rest since all the others have a sense of "I want to protect this specific thing about humans"
U-Olga and Tiamat outright say it. Kama is such a tsun-tsun love god(dess) who could never actually deny humanity of love and Goetia wanted to end Human suffering.
I wasn't able to read a whole lot on Whore of Babylon/Draco Queen. But i do know that her being a summonable Alter Ego was her choice not out of survival but of...a different perspective? She's less cruel and it even states she would never break rules, like her contract. She even has underlying feelings for someone who is the total opposite of her beast self. someone who could shake off temptation. Coming to chaldea with a sense of responsibility.
Koyanskaya also had this "I'll never break a contract" thing but the funny thing where she seems to be the only one who realizes, us the Master, is deprived from our opportunity of being our ideal self so go goes on being our Servant to let us be our ideal self just so she can break us, in our ideal state.
But Kiara coming to Chaldea had next to none of those in the beginning, it was stated that we should be wary of her still since her nature hasn't changed. Her narcissism and actions as Beast III/R is so different from the rest since, she only sees herself as human and the other as ants that need to be human, a gift only she can give.
The other beasts had a sense of "For humanity" and she's the only one, as the only human(of the beast class), to go "For me"
She's like, the only Beast that could be utterly selfish and self-serving.
Its kinda perfect that the beast from revelation got put into Nero seeing as 666 was a code name for the original Nero Caesar 😯

What we can take away is that all those kiara doujins are stuff that she can and would do.
The most daunting aspect of them is that each would be more than worthy of being the final boss of any narrative but in FGO they are a reoccurring opponents.
Goetia was the final boss of part 1, beast vii most likely of part 2, Kiara of CCC, but both Kiara, and kama are "only" mid adventure antagonist despite Kiara actually having killed us
the most powerful beast class would be nasu himself... he is saving the nasuverse by making conflicts that are going up in scale so that they would continue their existence while destroying the lives of people in a different world by taking out their $$$

Why am I not surprised that the Mage who thought it was a good idea to give Artoria a ding dong would also be a candidate to be a beast lol. I mean, god that would be awful considering how strong he already is and the same with Amaterasu which we should be thankful that part of her power is sealed up in 9 Jeans or Tamamos. Finally, the other beasts I already knew about, but wow Taish would be cool with neverending snu snu from Kiara lol. I am somehow not shocked by that and our Pikachu is a baby beast........five bucks says we have to fight Fou the minute he fully grows. side note on your fou thing in the space ishtar valentine interlude it was shown fou has his powers back he was able to put us in a time loop where we kept dying trying to date all 3 aspects of space ishtar without her getting mad. Essentially fou is just pretending at not having his powers.

@@crimveil4476 I know I'm a bit late in this but there are actually only two of them that we don't know about yet, five of the nine (Vitch, Gucci, Delmo, Hime, Aria) are simply alter egos or haven't exactly been assigned a true class (Vitch was kin assigned assassin by FGO, and then also being assigned foreigner as a secondary, though). Cat and OG tamamo are berserker and caster, respectively, though.
Note that Beast II Tiamat have two layers of immortality which she posses.

Which is why Chaldea and Gilgamesh planned to take Beast II into the Underworld of Ereshkigal, making use of its nature as a "World" wherein the only "life" that is properly recognized to exist are those existences subjectively defined as "the Living"at Ereshkigal's whim. Furthermore, as the domain was in part originally created to restrain and confine rogue gods, the Sanctions of the Underworld exert a strong Anti-Divinity effect by default, and would therefore hypothetically weaken Beast II. However after Beast II fell into the Underworld and recieved the Underworld's security feature punishment which set Beast II ablaze. Stated to be on par in terms of heat value with Ishtar's NP An Gal Ta Kigal She, then continued with an all out attack by Ereshkigal and her gallu spirits, to everyone's surprise, although weakened, Beast II is still not dead yet and proceed to transform into her Draconic Corpus form.
That is because, due to the 2nd immortality layer of Beast II is that she originally doesn't posses a Spirit Origin Core (SOC) in the first place. For example of the importance of SOC, let's take a look at Nezha.
"Spirit Pearl (A Rank); For Nezha, it is not her Spiritual Core, but the Precious Pearl buried inside her that acts as the main part of her body. Therefore, Nezha will continue to resurrect unless this Precious Pearl is completely destroyed."
Where as for Beast II who doesn't have any SOC/Spiritual Core at all, technically speaking would endlessly resurrect herself.
What King Hassan did who still has the Saint Graph of Grand Assasin, was that he spent all the power from his Grand Servant Saint Graph in order for him to be able to forcibly imprint the concept of Death unto Beast II while also severing her wings. King Hassan's decisive blow in turn made Beast II Spirit Origin Pattern to that of a normal Servant, as well as Da Vinci finally able to identified Beast II's SOC, her weakness, is in the head.
The combination of Ereshkigal's Domain, plus King Hassan using all the power from his Grand Servant Saint Graph are what ultimately made Beast II defeatable at the end of the story. Without those two factors, victory is only a dream.

they all scale up there. All of them are threats to the planet disregarding the textures. Sefar is anti-civilizations, the beasts are anti-humanity. They target different things, but are on the same scale of potential destruction they can bring.

It is actually funny, like mind blowing, how beast VII and her subordinates completely underestimate Ritsuka all the time. This person has A) a shit ton of both low, mid, high, and divine tier servants, b) defeated 4 beasts, several gods, including Zeus and god Arjuna, and C) they aren’t even a very good mage. If anything, they’d probably get C’s at best in stats. But they still kick everyone’s ass or do something else with their ass ;)
Edit: they also made friends with a beast too. Fou is a beast, but also technically one of our best friends. Just saying, Ritsuka really has that Jesus ranked charisma.

I think Goetia being the beast of pity is quite befitting. If you think about it in the respect that it's God's pity towards Solomon. I mean in life he was the "friend of God" (His name literally means this) but was ultimately led astray after God bestowed him “an understanding mind to govern your people, able to discern between good and evil”. That being said his many wives which had descended from Paganism and Idol worship eventually lead him astray. So while he ended up an incredibly wise and wealthy ruler that led his people into prosperity, he ultimately deviated and abandoned God. In his final moments it's said that despite being surrounded by boundless riches and beautiful women he was an empty, hopeless shell of a man that refused to repent even then. That is likely where God's pity stemmed from.
As for the 72 demons named in the Lesser Key of Solomon, I feel like you could treat them as a normal spirit in some respect although being exclusive to Goetia. Many of the named Demons (Such as Baal/Bael or Paimon who are both demon kings) have legends/references in mythology of their own (Besides having Genshin archon's being named after them - yes Morax (a president) and Barbatos (an earl) are in the Ars Goetia too) which all contribute to the overall power scale of Goetia.
Not suprise Merlin is a potential beast canidate. Mythology-wise, he was originally the Anti-Christ until he got baptized by a priest.

That would be sorta antithetical to the point Grand servants but Nasu has made retcons and broke rules before so there’s always a chance one could come down the line. And even if there is a Grand Beast we’d also considered the existence of Grand Classes for all the Extra classes like Grand Ruler grand foreigner Etc. Etc.

no matter how much each half of either beast grows individualy they will never fully mature.
to become the true beast of their respective number both sides need to merge with one another.
kama and kiara knew that from the beginning but tried to go solo anyway cause both would rather die than to merge with each other.
I've read theories of Sherlock being a Beast, but I never considered Merlin (who is already a Grand) a possible beast candidate.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I've always had a problem with a Grand never showing up to take out Kiara and Kama due to them not fully maturing when Orion was said to have been summoned to Atlantis to fight Koyanskaya despite also not having matured into a complete Beast at the time.
Kiara I don't remember but Kama was specifically hiding from the Counter Force.
Sherlock seems more to be from the counterforce and due the clues Chaldea may be its own Singularity/Lostbelt which is why we probably will be purged at some point.
