- Recently several prominent youtubers have created videos talking about their favourite scenes from the MCU all entitled 'One Marvelous Scene' I decided to do similar with my chosen scene from Spider-Man Homecoming .

Man you spoiled it for everyone. Now we know Spider-Man is Peter Parker 😂😂😂
But Peter Parker is just the altered ego of Tom Holland...DAMNIT now i've spoiled that too
*_J. Jonah Jameson wants to know your location_*
This didn’t age well
No it’s Tom Holland he couldn’t keep his identity secret for very long
When he's crying out for help in the beginning, it breaks your heart, because you remember that Peter really is just a kid, something that the other two franchises failed to fully capture.
SO TRUE they barely did at all in the tobey McGuire ones - they actually do slightly more in the Andrew Garfield ones, like they mention it more but it's still never really a plotpoint
Tom Hollands performance in this is soooooooooo amazing. Can't remember other movie that had quite literally provoked a gut feeling like this one, my body actually physically reacted as "OMG MUST PROTEC" when he cried for help under the rubble. Also probably some deep rooted motherly instinct, cos he is just too adorable.
Oh god that mustve been about ten times worse for you in infinity war
@@PlayCONtent xD That is why I waited until the very last day before Endgame to watch Infinity War, I was like "My heart cant take that, and then a years wait? I WILL DIE" XD. I was spoiled about the decimation early on :o, but ofc I knew of all characters, Marvel would not just leave Spiderman int the limbo.
Ughhh this scene gives me goosebumps every time
ME TOO MAN ! the scene in the car does too but I noticed someone had already done a video on it . I blame shia lebouf
That scene is one of the main reasons that I feel homecoming is one of the best Spider-Man films
Oh absolutely- until into the spiderverse it was my definitely favourite and still really isn't far behind
I think Cap knew Spidey strength when he webbed Steve's hands back to try to stop him, but Steve overpowered that and pulled him forward. But I love this scene and cry every time I hear Peter talk himself up in it.
Shia missed a great opportunity on that
Oh yeah that's a great point actually! oh me too - it really is one of the few scenes in a film where I have to surpress myself from actually cheering aloud - why do I have to surpress myself? well that, like all things, is shia's fault

Any Vaugely film youtuber
***One Marvelous scene*** for real though this was great
A Law channel called LegalEagle even due a OMS video on the Sokovian Accords
@@AnimeOtaku2 ooh i wanna watch that tbh
i was awestruck when I got to this scene. It's derived from a scene in the comics, issue 33, February 1964, which was part of a three-part story arc wherein Spider-Man is desperate to save Aunt May (Go out and read it, it's part of Volume 2 of the Epic Collection trade paperback!) and he is pretty much thrust into the same situation. It is a triumphant moment in both comic and movie alike, as it shows us just strong Spider-man really is, and his inability to surrender to weakness. It was an inspiring moment that I htink will be among my favorites for Spider-Man.
I totally forgot to mention it was from a comic! I even had it in my head to add that to the endscreen and then just...never did
If this be my destiny
This was my favorite scene too. Thanks for featuring this one!
Spidey getting stuck under something that he doesn't think he can lift, and talking himself into managing it anyway is an established trope in the comics.
Yeah I actually planned on mentioning the comic parallel in the endscreen and I didn't realise I forgot to UNTIL I uploaded- I still haven't forgiven myself, but i'm blaming shia anyway
When spider man was holding cap back from grabbing the shield that was when cap knew how powerful he was. So he knew he could hold the wait.
Anyone else love this Man’s accent 👌🏻
being british at last has an upside! sure didnt help me get a role in an MCU captain britain movie...mainly because there isn't one but still
Solid vid, great accent, really appreciate how scared Peter sounds, it breaks my heart every time I hear him crying out, only to inspire and awe me more and more when he summons the strength from within himself.
yessss that's exactly right! thanks for taking time to watch and comment
This film has so many amazing scenes but my personal favourite scene is the washington monument scene. It's so epic and intense.
Oh yeah that's another major highlight for me
@@PlayCONtent yeah
Great video! That scene has such emotion packed into it and when he's calling for help, you're quickly reminded that he just a kid. Love it!
It really does! thanks for watching and leaving this comment
This was a epic scene. Great commentary. You make great points about the super strength not being used in other films.
Loved the format of this video, focus on one scene with so much depth. Great, what else could I say
Thankyou so much!
Nice topic man! That was such a awesome scene! I am so looking forward to Endgame and the new Spider man movie
A very fun and thoughtful look at one of my favorite scenes :D you made my day
I really appreciate this comment! glad I could make your day
This is such a good idea! In my opinion this is one marvellous film as a whole but that scene is definitely a highlight. Love spiderman.
Oh mine too I was torn between a good few and 3 of them were in this film - luckily someone already did a video of one and one of the others was too short so that made my mind up
I really like the analytical approach to this video. When you watch the movie you definitely feel all this going on, but unless you take a step back you don't really understand why the scene had such an impact on you.
I love it when writers are imposing some kind of limit on their characters, especially things like prison arcs to be honest
I love the passion and level of complexity you always put into your presentations. You love these things, it's palpable. Well edited, organized and written. Keep up the marvelous work. :-)
I really do appreciate this comment- especially the marvelous pun at the end!
Excellent analytic my dude!! And I couldn't agree more with that scene man, I absolutely love it, both in it's film context and it's mirroring of an intense scene from one of the old comics!
Oh MAN! now I know what I was gonna mention in the end screen- I was gonna bring up the fact it was a direct comic reference, knew I forgot something . Thanks for watching my friend! are you gonna do one of these? I absolutely recommend it , other than being in line with what you already do it is MIRACOLOUS for views
This was some great analysis. Glad to have found your channel through this playlist. Now don't get trapped under any rubble. I look forward to your next video.
Thanks so much for watching and leaving this comment! it's really appreciated - hopefully I won't disappoint
Love the editing! Well done! Love it that Michael Keaton is in this one!! Too cool!
This was great!(x this series looks great as well!! Keep up the great work my dude!!
This movie truly stands out in the MCU. Tom Holland is a spectacular Peter, Michael Keaton is one of the most entertaining and compelling villains i've seen in a while, and everyone brings their A game.
I wholeheartedly agree
Hi yet again what a awesome video on this beloved Spider- Man
I will admit this Spider-Man is much better than the last ones iv seen
Thanks man! can't tell you how much I appreciate you watching these , even when it's not your turn on the tribe playlist- you sir are a true gentleman
@@PlayCONtent Its a pleasure and i always enjoy your channel and try my best to keep updated on everyone two
So glad someone decided to tackle this scene. Love the scene and the whole video
thanks so much for watching and leaving this comment! I was surprised none of the big names had tackled it before I did (funny enough though I DID get a few people commenting like 'damn I was gonna do this one')
Watched this for the second time dude and I like how you've explained part about spiderman and again I'm looking forward to see the upcoming film.... Avengers Captain America was my favourite one.... (Liney Dampz)
Was really enjoying this series, now I get to see your take! Awesome. This is on my top 5 scenes I think, working on my favorite. You're really polishing your craft, man!
thanks for stopping by my friend! looking forward to seeing your take- I was actually tempted to more than one because there were A LOT of runners up
@@PlayCONtent Hey, if you did another I would gladly watch!
Great Video mate keep it up as always
Great video and backkground! Keep up the good work!
really do appreciate you watching! and leaving this comment of course!
Blaine saw this movie back a few months ago and he told me it was probably the best Spiderman film in his lifetime thus far. So I will for sure have to check this movie out in its whole. Awesome video as always my man and I am digging the Marvel series you got going keep up the great work!
Ohhh man it won't be as good now that i've ruined most the plot! i'm sorry! but yeah it's the best spiderman film...other than into the spiderverse but yano what it's not far behind for me
Fair play this is a good explained, video well done bro keep em coming
AYYY tomLAD! thanks for watching and commenting chum!
Great movie. So many good parts to choose from. This definitely had that kind of epic feel to it when I first saw this scene.
Look out here comes the Spiderman rewatched this video I had to Great video as always mate now the grumpy hedgehogs away 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
hahaha oh man - the grumpy hedgehog could end up starring in the upcoming sonic film , people aren't happy with how he looks right now
This is super awesome as always lol I am sure I have said before but my son loves Spiderman lol he walks around pretending to be him all day long haha 😂
these videos are always a nice ending to my night!
Thanks so much for leaving this comment! it's also reminded me I need to catch up on a few o' yours
Im always a fan of spiderman ☺️👍🏻👍🏻♥️ good content Sir. 👌🏻😁
I've been waiting for this one since this playlist first began.
Glad I could be of some service! I was really surprised it hadn't been taken by a big youtuber, I did get a few people commenting saying they were planning on doing it and then saw this video , I did feel bad about that
Awesome work
I'm definitely looking forward to the new spiderman film and I like how you presented all this dude....
Thanks for watching my friend ! yeah I'm looking forward to that as much as I am endgame
This scene always hits hard! I'm so happy that this was your choice, it's nice to hear other people's thoughts about this scene
It really does doesn't it?! I was torn between quite a lot of scenes so a lot of me is tempted to another video. Really appreciate you leaving this comment!
@@PlayCONtent I'd love to see more videos like this if that's okay with you ^-^ keep up the good work!
I really enjoy your commentary... spiderman movies are probably my least favourite super hero only because there has just been so many of them in recent years honestly it's a joke. However getting your review gives me a great insight to continue watching the others and can follow the plots and references. Great video!
Always blame Shia! I like this! A lot. Great break down on the emotional impact of resolve vs despair.
Love these movies best ever great video
Your videos are getting better and better dude! Keep it up!
Thanks so much for watching and leaving this comment!
your accent makes it even better. great video.
Thanks so much for leaving this comment!
Great vid, you picked a great seen
Thanks for leaving this comment!
Great video!
Thanks so much for watching and leaving this comment ! really appreciate it , also im a big fan of your image
Holy cow 13k veiws?! Congrats that's AMAZING 👏👏👏
I know right! I knew it was a popular subject so assumed people would watch but I assumed like...maybe 1k after a full week, it's waaaay past that- every viewcount on future videos is gonna look really bad in comparison ha
@@PlayCONtent I know that feeling, I have one review with 9k views and all my other videos suck in comparison 😋
Captain America got a chance to test Spiderman's strength when Spiderman first webbed up Cap's hands and they had a little tug of war seconds before the clip you showed. I thought the same thing about Cap when I first saw that scene, but a UA-camr, whose name I can't remember, talked about it in his Civil War review. Nice video though, and this one of my favorite scenes in the MCU as well, they could have gave us a little Uncle Ben flashback right before he did broke out, but the scene was bad ass anyway.
Yeah it's something I noticed as soon as I did the video and then I was like 'hmmm he still doesn't know HOW strong , and i've mentioned what iron man said- I may aswell keep it in, adds to the length anyway. Thanks for watching and leaving this comment ! yeah it seems to be a popular one I'm really surprised someone big hadn't done a video on it already (2 people have said they were just about to and then saw this before uploading theirs though- did feel bad about that)
That scene was beautiful! Tom Holland is a monster! He delivers very strong emotions.
That's so true! he really does, thanks for watching by the way!
Yes I’m so happy someone chose this scene! I love it!
I was really surprised none of the big youtubers did ! I did however get 2 people commenting saying they'd planned on using the scene and THEN came across this video- I felt bad for it but I ultimately decided to blame shia
PlayCONtent yeah don’t blame yourself too much :) there’s SO many great scenes in the MCU and others in this movie that haven’t been covered if they love Spider-Man and Homecoming.
Like, I loveee the montage of Peter doing small, good deeds around Queens. It’s exactly what I wanted from the movie. It’s funny and effective at making us endeared to him. It keeps the movie in a small scale, but that also exemplifies why Peter is a great superhero. He’s still trying his best to help people, even if it’s little unspectacular moments.
Oh yeah that's one I was thinking about doing too , but it didnt quite have the gravity of this one. I do like the moment of him giving an old woman directions , if cinemasins hadn't removed a sin for that, i'd consider them sinful humans
Wow dude, I think you got a lot of attention with this video thats for sure! 😆✌
I know right! I knew it was a popular topic but I expected only maybe 1k and that after a full week THIS is seriously baffling to me
Dude nice video. I like your style a lot :)
Thanks for watching! really appreciate you leaving this comment too ! mainly because it says I have style- I've been trying to tell myself that for years
haha :)
That scene when he is trapped under the rubble and the Battle of the Bastards in Game of Thrones are the most realistically claustrophobic feeling scenes I've every experienced on the screen! Ya that scene was fickin' well done man! This is now one of my favorite analysis commentaries of yours!😁👏💥🤘 By the way, Spidey can lift 10 tons.💪💪
Yeah I didnt know the exact amount but I know he maintains the collapsing daily bugle in one comic- it's a useless fact I need on standby if anyone ever says they dont like how strong Spider-Man is portrayed in the MCU (to be fair I don't think anyone will BUT we live in hope)
@@PlayCONtent True dat! On a cooler note, The epic PlayCONtent collab is uploading at this very moment!😝👏🤘💥
I love the Spiderman #33 cover homage in this scene.
Peter Parker aka spider man 😂😂 so simple but still got a laugh.
This is awesome and look at those views! I'm in the present of greatness!
I KNOW RIGHT! I noticed a few people doing it and i thought 'hmmmm it allows for a lot of choice and it does fit in with what i already do- it might be worth a try to get more views than usual' but there's getting more views than usual and then there's THIS- i didnt expect more than maybe 1k and only that after a full week
PlayCONtent and look at it go now! Way to go!
Good job 👍🏾
This was my favorite Spider-Man!
I love how the MCU has character growth for almost all of it's characters. Not all of them as heartbreaking as this scene, but still, the thought they put into the movies really shows.
yeah a few of their characters feel kind of redundant but the ones who don't really really don't
I think the choice of Michael "Birdman Batman" Keaton as The Vulture is an odd yet brilliant choice as the villain in this film.
*PlayContent* 3:26 Some of us picked up that It's not just when he says, "Come on, Spider-Man," it's when he says "Come on, Spider-ME," he's realizing who he is with or withOUT the suit. Doing some soul-searching, Peter realizes that it's not the suit and its hundreds of neat features that makes him a hero - it's who he is on the inside that makes him one.
Damn bro ur killing it
I adore this scene and this video does it great justice!
There’s something....odd? About the quality of the music used in the background however.
Oh yeah that's recording limitations - I thought it needed something other than my voice and hoped it wouldn't ruin the video
hey i loved this video and was working on my own with this same exact scene. i loved your take on it man, i just wanted to let you know that i'm using the same scene (i've been trying to think of a different scene but honestly this is my favorite scene from any movie and means something to me on a huge emotional level) but i assure you i'll have my own take and i didn't want anything to think i was copying. i hope i can add some good insight to the topic and sit gratuitously next to yours
Oh thats no problem man ! for all I know someone might've already picked this one before me so i'd have already been copying them (granted I haven't seen one but with the amount of people doing these videos there's bound to be some overlap) looking forward to seeing it!
@@PlayCONtent thanks man i really appreciate it, can't wait to get it out and see everyone else's take on this great scene
Spiderman is our favorite! Great video, have you scene Endgame yet?!
Indeed I have! seen it twice actually now
Birdman as Vulture as Batman as Dad was such perfect casting. I read somewhere that the best, most surprising thing Endgame could do is have villains like Vulture join forces with the surviving Avengers to defeat Thanos. Would be real neat.
Oh yeah I wouldn't mind that at all! I think i've heard somewhere people think Justin hammer fron iron man 2 might make an appearene- which I wouldn't be opposed to , he's one of the few things I liked in that film (I cant even rememeber what I had against the film geerally but I remember not being a fan)
thank thor someone mentioned the captain america spiderman scene!!!!!!!!
By Odin's beard , I just had to!
Great video. Great commentary. Great emphasis. I'm getting tired of writing these.
Great comment. Greatly appreciated. (I also like the detail of getting tired of writing at the end- nice meta touch). Thanks so much for taking time to watch too by the way !
I love Homecoming the most out of the live adaptations but Spider-Verse is also pretty amazing for different reasons. Mainly for turning Miles Morales into his own character because he isn't really all that interesting but also for embracing it's premise and source material used as a narrative function instead of just inspiration.
Oh yeah I maginarlly prefer spiderverse to this but only marginally , yeah! I read like one ultimate comic with miles in it and I found him kind of boring
Wow your edit for this is amazing and your spoiler ruined it for everyone no one knew it was Peter Parker 😂😂 Watched endgame last night definitely would love to hear your thoughts on that soon 🙌🏻
I just saw it today too! there are so many people doing videos on it i'm not sure i will - i might do something like a video that starts as a spoiler free review and then goes into a spoiler discussion on like 2 specific scenes or something - so at least that way it'll SLIGHTLY differentiate my video from the millions of other reviews
I still haven't watched the movie 😒 but great review! 😅👍
Tom Holland's Peter Parker ks the best interpretation of the character on the big screen
I definitely agree

I loved the first spiderman movies Seems like they are always making a new One but I'm not complaining I love spiderman lol
Ohhhh yeah if they rebooted the whole thing again now i'd definitely be complaining, they've really peaked with this MCU version
This scene fell flat for me the first time watching because I felt Uncle Ben's words should've been his motivation to spark his mind about why he does what he does.
Yeah I like how creative and yet still faithful mcu spidey is BUT I really dont see how not mentioning uncle ben benefits anything- I really hope they still somehow do like maybe peter doesn't know how he dead yet in this version but a policeman/literally any character who might know mentions to spiderman who the killer was and peter's like 'crap that's the guy I should've stopped' and it could inspire him out of temptation to give up being spidey? that could work
@@PlayCONtent That's the thing, the character doesn't benefit at all. If anything that's what's lacking. The depth. Uncle Ben's quote and dying because of Peter's selfishness was what defined him orginally. But they've seem to not care in the MCU. It's ok to move past his origin but we can't forget why Spider-Man is.
He will not divide us!!!!!
Really enjoyed this man! Also, wait a second...PETER PARKER IS SPIDER-MAN?!?!?! SPIDER-MAN IS PETER PARKER?!!?!?! My whole world is now flipped.
Hahaha always blame Shia Labeouf
I know right! I almost didnt reveal it I couldn't believe it when I found out- I decided to blame shia for it
Add it to the playlist!
Oh is there a way you can do that? I heard if you tweeted certain people they do it so i've done that . Thanks for watching and commenting!
Really good movie
I wholeheartedly agree
AND it is a scene STRAIGHT OUT OF THE COMICS!!! Spider-man: The Final Chapter!
Yeah I was actually gonna mention that in the endscreen- I forgot all about it until I uploaded , so i'm glad it was mentioned
I'm torn...because ultimately I loved the scene where he figured out it was him...but him knowing his identity seems stupid in that it gives him an unbelievable leverage. He doesn't even have to physically attack him, heck he can just out him - no effort. My point is, if he really wanted him gone he could do it. So to me it means he doesn't want him gone or is grossly incompetent. I would have preferred if it was one of those things where he believes it's him but wasn't 100% sure. That way the right situation could convince him that he isn't spiderman. It would still have the tension up until that point and he'd have his identity intact.
That's a good point - I think not outing him/killing him could easily be justified by the fact that he owed Peter for saving his daughter so wanted to give him one chance before doing even anything antagonistic. But there definitely is some stupidity to the plotpoint even though it's amazingly executed: these people live in NEW YORK and yet spidey HAPPENS to fall for a girl who happens to be the daughter of one of the only real foe he's had at this point

you're right
I loved this scene in the comic it will always be better but daaaang is this one good
oh absolutely
@@PlayCONtent
Your Awesome also I listened to a video recording thing of Stan Lee talking about how this scene in the comics is one of his favorites and that he's very proud of him it made me love it and I freaked out when I saw this scene in Homecoming
@@biggestidiothere3469 yeah there's a similar moment in spectacular spider-man too but I can't remember the context in that one
@@PlayCONtent also I just found your channel and it's like really good so it's awesome talking to you and I was wondering what's your favorite Spiderman like in the multiverses and why? mines Spider Ham I love classic cartoons and find him funny but if I had to say which one is the best in general and not my own opinion I think it would probably be Peter Parker the original regular one y'know
@@biggestidiothere3469 oooo good question, I like spider-ham a lot andddddd apart from him maybe actually 2099- the character himself i dont knw that much about but I like the cyberpunk aesthetic enough that I'm willing to praise that universe highly
I think I might make a T-shirt with the line "I blame Shia Labeouf" on it.
That is an exceptional idea- so exceptional I'm almost annoyed I didnt think of it before BUT why didnt I think of it before? I blame shia for that , too
Are you kidding me? I literally filmed and edited a "One Marvelous Scene: Spider-Man Without the Suit" Video and was about to post it when I came across this. I'm so annoyed... but still a pretty good video...
you still can ! with the amount of people doing this there's bound to be a few overlaps there might already have been a few before I did it
Good commentary, wish that you could go in depth into the whole movie rather than just 1 scene but then I guess content id would be a problem
Oh yeah I would love to be able to, yeah like you said it might be hard to find clips of the full film- then again if I played the dvd on a laptop it might let me screen capture from there hmmm
@@PlayCONtent Actually I meant copywright issues xD the actual copying of the data is easy, you can use a VLC player to do it if you have the DVD or do what you said.
Oh, Keaton said he'd stop doing that? Does that mean he is planning to start asking where his opponents are from?
Oh now this is an incredible comment! so brilliant i'm wondering if you were responsible for the screenplay of this film!
I don't think it was to "solidify his status as a hero" that he decided to fight Vulture.
I don't think it was a choice at all.
As I read somewhere, unless the MCU changed his origin, he let a thief get away once.
And he will never make that mistake again.
yeah they just never give any real indication of that happening in these films so in the isolated context of what we see in homecoming it feels more like it's proving his worth- wish they would reference his origin though, maybe in far from home … but it would've made sense to mention it here too, because if those weapons get on the streets someone else's uncle/family member could die
Then again it's totally possible that both the motivations are valid- he wants to solidy his status as a hero BECAUSE of the time he let a thief get away and working with an avenger is one way of ensuring he'll make a bigger difference
@@PlayCONtent Fait point. Loved the video.
Peter Parkers crush was hot
Ohhh Liz , unfortunately she doesn't turn into the lizard- or fortunately I should say
Personally I gotta disagree as I feel in that scene Peter shouldn't be thinking of Tony to inspire him but Uncle Ben
However I do understand that people are tired of Uncle Ben it still feels like a disservice to the character
That being said this was actually a cool video and I like how passionate you were, I hope to see more from you
Yeah I think the only thing stopping them from using him was- like you said- the fact people were tried of him(I actually wasn't I think he's too vital to become tiresome but a lot of people don't)- apparently far from home implies he exists in this conintuity though so I do want that to actually materialise
@@PlayCONtent yea it'd be very interesting to see how Peter truly feels about it however in the trailers they're hinting that Aunt May and Happy night end up together which would honestly just ruin it for if it did happen
But I am hopeful that sequel will at least be a great time watch especially with Mysterio being a huge presence
He might actually be my favourite spidey villain- I don't even know much about him but what I do know seriously appeals
@@PlayCONtent yea I'm sure Jake Gyllenhaal will do a great job playing the character I'm excited to see Mysterio the most and to see what those elemental monsters are about
HEART ME DADDY
Always blame Shia LaBeouf
^words to truly live by!
lol spider man is peter hahahahaha
Wait. Peter Parker is SPIDERMAN?!
Hey don’t spoil it Lol
they were waiting till far from home before they even hinted at that
