I'm going in almost a week, I read about Bit Bar and that place looks fun, so that's where I'm going and Village Tavern. It's too bad I'm going alone, but I plan to go alone anyways, maybe I can meet friendly people up there. From PA to MA, that's 300 miles away and this is my first vacation in 6 years.

My little dog Oliver (who comes into your shop) always likes hanging out at the Shanty. In fact, I took him there for his 14th birthday in August. Oliver and I were there last night with friends Joan and Robin.
Omg we love Oliver!! 💕 Happy belated birthday to him! My friend always brings her chihuahua to lobster shanty and they spoil him with tater tots 😂 They're the best there
Don't forget that many of these bars are really dog friendly if your fur children are visiting with you.

All the soju I've tried (including the ones I tried in Korea) taste like nail polish remover to me lol but my gf loves it because she finds it easy to drink. It's also apparently good mixed with beer but I wouldn't know, I'm not a beer person. Btw, how much money should someone take with them if going to Salem in october for a week? I love shopping clothes, crystals and oddities etc which is insanely expensive in my country but how's that in Salem?
oh no! that makes me so sad soju doesn't taste good to you 😢 if one of your main plans is to shop here, I would say at least 500. the prices really depend on the shop since I have noticed some places jack up their prices for october while others keep them the same. the most expensive will be the clothes. die with your boots on has some amazing stuff but it can be pretty pricey. crystals are super reasonably priced at village silversmith and stay the same year round. oddities, I would recommend hive and forge since they have independent artists who rent spaces and set their own prices. I have found them to be really fair and reasonable ☺️ I hope you enjoy your trip!
