If I were to pick up a book and read about a kid who dreams of playing with his favorite bands, marrying his first crush who happened to be a famous singer, winning award after award for his craft and rocking the same haircut for 50 years I would put it down as bad fiction. Then there is Marty Stuart.
Bought this CD last week. It's the best CD, I think I've ever bought ! Damn, it's good ! Marty, sure knows how to make music ! If the Country Music Hall Of Fame,is gonna induct new younger,members like George Strait, Marty, shouldn't be overlooked. He's paid his dues-Sullivan family,Lester Flatt,Johnny Cash,Grand Ole Opry,Superaltives,and now RFDTV-Marty Stuart Show.
Everyone needs to write a letter to the Country Music Foundation,on inducting him into the Hall Of Fame !

Marty, looks like your "Ghost Train" album is just that or at least needs to be a tribute album because besides the passing of Johnny Cash and Lester Flatts, Ralph Mooney passed away today. A true steel guitar playing legend. BTW, take good care of Clarence White's guitar. I was fortunate to have once met and spoken with Clarence, an innovative guitar playing genius. - Scott J. Quiz for you all, who is the cowboy decal on CW's guitar? Clarence told me himself.

i loved him when he was a kid and and i love and idolize him now......Marty and his band keep it going for us long time country fans ...most real music fans love it all..../.... as do real country music fans..........there is only two kinds of music good and bad and ive been blessed enought to know the differance........

Marty is the greatest! He's so talented. I'm amazed at his creativity. It all come from his heart! I'm proud that he's a fellow Mississipian! I had the pleasure of meeting him and his awesome wife a few years back in Pelahatchie, MS. All I could do was stare! I was so star struck!
