I have been a fan for nearly 50 years. When my daughter was 2 she only had three words, mama, dada and No. One morning I was playing a Kris LP. First track was Blame it on the Stones. My daughter joined in, chorus and verse, word perfect. She is now nearly 50 and hasn't stopped talking since! Thanks Kris!

You are right when you say Kris is a genius. He comes from a military family. He is a Rhoades "sp" scholar. Left the military went on to Oxford in England major was literature. Family disowned him for leaving the military. Flew helicopters for a living for a while. Went to Nashville worked as a janitor on music row. Landed a helicopter on Johnny cash's property. Girlfriend and I took a road trip in 72. Ended up in Nashville. Spent an evening with kris and Rita at David allen coe's apartment. They were the nicest down to earth people you could meet. Kris is very kind and respectful and very funny. Had his guitar and we all sang. My friend and I drove them to the King of the Road hotel where they were staying. What a night. Those were the days.
