I get the chills whenever I hear the easily recognizable sound of Mark playing the guitar. Thank you sir for so much enjoyment over the years! I will always buy your music and support your genius!
What an awesome version of this song! Woaw, that Les Paul.. Yes Mark!
Grazie Mark
I always loved the original, just discovered this live version a few days ago. I'm playing it as loud as I can , for about the 100th time in the last 24 hours. My little black Cavoodle is howling along with Mark' s solos. Life is very, very good! Thank you Mark, thank you Charlie (the dog)!!
He's aged so well. A consummate talent.
Looks so much better older, especially without the headband 😳
Got to see MK twice in the 2000s live at Red Rocks, CO and it was a rare privilege to see him. He is the real deal.
Hard to believe but in 1979 when "Dire Straights" was a top hit we lucked into seeing Dire Straights at the UC Davis Coffee House (we were freshman, what a way to start college), seating less than 400 people. I was over the top! One of my forever favorite bands (and Mark Knopfler one of my forever favorite players). Wowie.
A favorite of mine!!
And the brass instruments added so much to it!
EXCELLENT!
Mr Knopfler Guitar + Knopfled Vocals = TimeLess Perfection.
