@@RideAcrossTheRiver Because I don‘t want any accidental ringing notes. When I don‘t play any open strings in a song (like this one), it just sounds cleaner with the fretwrap. Of course I also mute the strings with my hands, the fretwrap is just a sort of backup in case I hit a wrong string while not muting.
